    1. Thanks for the feedback! We’re going to continue to improve the app and appreciate you downloading it!

  2. Great post game. Hopefully it won’t be a week before the election coverage is uploaded… >_<

    1. This story is incredibly heartbreaking. . . I was listening to it when it first aired on NPR (WBEZ Chicago) and I had to pull my car off the road because I couldn’t see through my tears. . . It just about broke me. . . I thought about it all day that day, and now I’m reliving it because of this! still brings tears to my eyes.

  3. Thank you, that is why you bring Hannah on!

We talk about Toronto, we talk about Incels (John’s TDR segment with his professor friend about it was also very helpful), we talk about Elliot Rogers, but we can’t actually solve those issues as long as we refuse to talk about toxic masculinity.

  4. I really liked this Post Game, it went into all the incredible stories people like to hit others with. Will Eisner, in his last work, explained the multiple origins of the ‘Zionist takeover’ story with evidence and clarity in manga style. I especially appreciate his saying that lots of unrelated historical injustices created a huge anti-Semitic vampire that to this day refuses to die. A few crazies just keep finding and fanning those bits of vampirish embers till they flame up again.

But if you look at patterns over time, these myths and the people expounding them have been and still continue to be exposed, debunked and doomed to a slow process of being forgotten.

I don’t think Will Eisner thought it realistic to see anti-Semitism die off completely, but he did seriously want to see it curbed to the point where evil could only get its hands on embers, not tiki torches and AR-15s.

I have heard black people and some Japanese people here in Japan spread the same nasty tales of Rothschilds, etc. My own mom used to tell those stories EVEN though a Jewish man saved her family from ruin by employing her father in his butcher shop back in the 1930s and ‘40s. How the hell she could say to me that Hitler had the right idea and the very next minute show me that wonderful photo of the man, his wife and children and others seated lovingly at the Passover table filled with such wonderful food and her father, seated so comfortably and welcomed so warmly by them, I’ll never bloody know.

One day a poor black boy came into the butchers where my grandfather worked for his Jewish employer. Granddad gave him some meats gratis to take home and paid the register back out of his own pocket. His employer knew what he did and respected him for it. Though this is the only case my mother talked about, I know in my heart it couldn’t have been the only case.

Gross monsters like Robert Moses, Fred Trump etc were trying to break up so many loving friendships like my granddad had. Breaking up loving couples and families with the kind of stories Cenk and Hannah detailed today, stories AND deeds.

Don’t let ‘em win, guys. Expose, debunk, doom it to be forgotten. Keep going. They always look mightier than they really are. ?

  5. I just love post-games that are yet another review of the Holocaust (where we only mention the Jews killed when millions of Christians, disabled people, gay people, gypsies etc were also killed) – delivered by resident Jewish princess Hannah Cranston – hurray! Ugh!

I saw the video Cenk referenced and those cops did use OVERWHELMING FORCE against the counter-protesters. Most of the counter-protesters didn’t seem to be wearing masks as a disguise, but instead had bandanas and such pulled up over their mouths and noses – presumably so if the cops tear-gassed them they would be ok and could keep protesting. But regardless, it really was horrible to see those cops defending neo-nazis.

And Hannah lost me when she said “toxic masculinity” – ugh! Please PLEASE get rid of Hannah!

    1. Come on, they were only discussing the Holocaust in the context of antisemitism. And “toxic masculinity” – I agree with Cenk & Ana that it’s a somewhat unskilful & counterproductive phrase – but presumably most people watching this would understand its actual meaning. Overall, quite an interesting/enjoyable segment IMHO.

  6. Stelter is not Jewish. Even if he were, it doesn’t mean that cnn rules the world. It’s the argument for the unimagined. Grow up, and get a better argument than “they killed Jesus!”… All this over make believe “gods”. If we didn’t have religions to hate over, we’d find something else.

    1. Cenk is away Stelter isn’t Jewish, he mentioned that when he originally covered that story
