TYT Hour 1 April 30, 2018

In The Young Turks Hour 1 - On Demand by Zoe J81 Comments

Hannah Cranston, Mark Thompson, & Brooke Thomas. Michelle Wolf’s jokes at the White House Correspondents dinner and criticism for verbal bullying. Correspondents dinner has gotten way off track. North Korea is closing a nuclear test site. South Korea’s leader thinks Trump should will the Nobel Peace Prize. Vice President Pence is speaking at the NRA conference in Dallas, the NRA is banning guns (and other weapons) to ensure the Vice President’s safety. Parkland students are calling out the hypocrisy, and many NRA members are upset about this. President Trump during his rally speech stops to ask “are there any hispanics in the room”. Ronny Jackson will not be returning as President Trump’s personal doctor.

  1. I think it is really interesting how Brooke was the one who understood Michelle Wolf’s joke correctly right away while Hannah continued to report that the joke was about Sanders’ looks, which it clearly was not. Then, Mark gave credit to Hannah for explaining it. She was basically repeating what Brooke had already said and Hannah didn’t even pass the credit back to Brooke when Mark gave it to Hannah. Watch Mark while Brooke explains it the first time. He doesn’t even acknowledge it, but for some reason the same idea coming out of Hannah’s mouth was now this great point.

  2. This week has been amazing I have so enjoyed the variety of different voices that have been brought forward it opens up the dialogue for so many people it’s not just about the news of the day it’s about things it can help the most that’s reaching into ourselves and reaching out to others and if the bothersome people too bad. The show needs a lot more of a rotation of host cohosts communicators commentators it from spectrum to be a hell of a lot more inclusive. It wasn’t just us post game it’s been this entire week seeing Brett, Mark, Guest cohosts our one hour to and the post games have just been amazing because there is a switch up of faces voices and experiences! This needs to happen more often. You have a wide range of viewers and yes we come to the main show for news but how it’s being presented by different points of view And voices with different life experiences that actually reflect your audience in such a Broad way keeps this show fresh. Bravo to this week!

  3. As a perennial Hannah hater, I actually found her to be decent this time round, but for a bit of excessive interruption. She should be given the chance to host more Hour 1s. I think it’s funny that there wasn’t nearly as much hate on the all women-panel of yesterday (May 1). It’d be nice to see Hannah with outspoken other-styled feminists like Aida.

    1. “She should be given the chance to host more Hour 1s.”

I’m with ya on this. I can’t watch all of them, but it’s always been worth it when Hannah happens to be on the panel. She should get as much experience as TYT can give her.

I think she does a better job hosting these Hours, than she does hosting Think Tank.

Except for the humor. She has the chance to make funny comments & gestures on TT, but of course that has no relevance here. Some of her recent cracks on TT, had me laughing for days.

  4. It just seems so easy to bash on Hannah. As way too many of y’all are doing. We subconsciously bully women more than men, it’s a product of our patriarchal upbringing.
I’ve been following TYT a long time, and the same could be said about Brent and Anna when they started, and look at them now.
It’s a job, you get better by doing it.
Of course we need more minorities and marginalized voices on TYT (as a Trans Woman I’m disappointed they don’t have any trans people even as regular guest hosts) but I’d prefer us not to tear down someone who is rising in to her own to do it.
Everyone’s been inexperienced at some point, show a little empathy.

    1. This just in –

Donna Brazille called the TYT offices, invoking feminine privilege and complaining that a female host was being ‘badgered’ in a comments forum.

She at first admonished the critics “Why don’t you people pick on someone your own size, like Cenk or Shure?” But she quickly realized that both of these hosts have also been criticized.

She also blamed white males for this impolite behavior, until she realized that she doesn’t actually know if all of the handles belong to men, never mind white men.

  5. I cant believe I read through this idiotic thread. Everyone on the internet is an idiot.

Hannah did a great job as host and I hope to see more of her, as well as all woman panels. Ill take all dudes, a gender mix, but I also appreciate an all woman point of view. That’s equality.

Nothing is off the table when you try to be funny or use humor as a wedge to drive a point. . Ill take an abortion joke and an anti gay joke. Both are hacky but im not thinned skinned enough to bitch about it. I’m also strongly pro choice and pro LGBT so a little joke wont hurt me.
And because, as my screenname implies, I’m a lefty liberal masshole, and sarah suck a dee (journolistic) Standards. is a cross eyed, fat faced stupid mouth piece for the trump administration.

I’m sorry conservatives with your fall back defenses, some liberals can and will unopolgetically talk some shit.

Thats why I like TYT, they might be Cali happies but they have a new england spirit.

  6. SHS torches people and defends misogynists from the WH podium on a regular basis and it is not a comedy roast, The WH through her attack press and entertainers without the press doing any follow up or true journalism. They are all snowflakes, Michelle Wolf was invited in to roast the WH and the press partially because they do not have the cajones to check themselves.

  7. Come on TYT, paying members expect & deserve better than not ready for prime time players on your first hour. You must do better or a slew of member cancellations will follow. Please be aware of shrill sounding pundits!

    1. eat an ass faggot, you think anyone cares about your thinly veiled threats? Get the fuck over yourself.
Ill pay for the absence in your membership. So my bill goes from 15 dollars a month to 30.
Worth it to not hear you bitch anymore.

  8. On a fall evening in 1983, over 100 million viewers tuned in to ABC to watch a made-for-tv movie called THE DAY AFTER. That is the largest tv viewing audience in history. Effects of that broadcast were profound. It literally changed the world.

President Ronald Reagan watched it, in a private viewing a few days before it aired publically. Later, he signed a treaty that helped de-escalate the Cold War, and he sent a note to the director of THE DAY AFTER to say that movie had an affect on him (Reagan).

The movie’s brutal, unflinching depiction of the horrors of post-nuclear-fallout America changed the way people thought about the strategy of “mutually assured destruction.”

Assuming that a 30-year-old made-for-tv movie must be ridiculous by today’s standards, I watched it on You Tube this weekend, and… OMG. The movie holds up astonishingly well. This is real stuff of nightmares.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iyy9n8r16hs

BTW, I was inspired to look into this after watching the Season 4 episode of THE AMERICANS wherein the family watches THE DAY AFTER together… along with most everyone else in America. Excellent episode… but then, every episode of THE AMERICANS is excellent. One of the best dramatic series ever made. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Made by FX, currently available on Netflix and Amazon Prime among other sources.

    1. forgot to mention the main point of this post — Trump and Kim Jung Un should watch this movie.

  9. Totally agree. Hannah is too „fake“, meaning immature for the news. She has not found her own voice yet (literally, she has a combination of that girl talk voice & news anchors/actors voice). And she does not have her own opinions yet. She says whatever she thinks is the progressive opinion.
I love Chenk, John & Ana

    1. BeeLeave, I think this is a fair assessment, though without using the word immature.

Yes, she started at TYT very early as an Intern, and really hasn’t had a chance to think things through for herself. Sorry to say all this, as if we’re some kind of mind readers, or can peer into her soul. But I think you’re essentially correct, here.

Nevertheless, I do believe that Hannah has has the talents & motivation to grow way past her TYT training wheel days, and accomplish more than most of the TYT staff will, in their lifetimes.

It would be nice if she inserted some compassion & empathy (the real thing, not just sounding open & compassionate) into her accusations and summations. But whether she takes any specific advice from us, most important is that she keeps learning and growing, and starts her own venture at some point.

    2. Let her cut her teeth, she isnt perfect but she’s doing a good job guiding the main show. I’m sure she has incredible responsibilities behind the scenes.

Let her grow, she’s coming up fast. I agree with some of your criticism that she says “like” to often or talks to fast, but I also notice her self awareness where she catches it and tones it down. Give her a little credit for overcoming nerves.

Live…on camera…Split second dialog and rapid fire conversation…and you bitch about her response?

Hannah, if you see this, ignore the unrealistic and overly harsh critics.

Its easy to criticize. Let her grow, I can see her talent.

  10. I thought Michelle Wolf did not go far enough. This is what we get went news gives time and credibility to obvious liars, and comedians are somehow the standard of integrity?! Wolf didn’t make fun of Sanders looks at all; this is an obvious diversion of the butt-hurt. The real problem is that every real news station should be saying Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a liar, and these are all the lies she tells for the administration.

Wish we had Cenk on to give his comment. Unfortunately, the right wing has again manipulated the conversation. Instead of saying, “Yeah, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a misogynist and outright liar, and this is why,” we attack the powerless comedian. Circle the wagons!

  11. Hannah in the first hour? Are TYT people even bothering to listen to us? Its the same half thought knee jerk reaction trite that I often hear from teenagers and early 20s;
I don’t need it in my news cast. Are you guys really that desperate to put a pretty blonde on the screen no matter the constant poor performance she shows every single time she’s on air?

  12. I have only made two comments to you guys as an everyday listener, but seriously, HANNAH. I am missing legitimate content that I have been looking forward to you guys covering because of the fact I truly cannot tolerate the hour because of her voice. It sucks for both parties because I feel awful for her commenting on the fact I literally can’t take her voice, but as a loyal member I want you guys to have some feedback too.

  13. I think Hannah is fine, her voice is fine and she does a good job. If you want a voice coached voice, go listen to some overproduced mainstream shit.

I will nitpick 2 things about her performance today though. One, she says “right” entirely too much. (So do Cenk and especially Ana.) Two, she pronounced Nobel like she was saying Noble.

    1. “I think Hannah is fine, her voice is fine and she does a good job. If you want a voice coached voice, go listen to some overproduced mainstream shit.”

No, I’ll do no such thing, and neither will anyone else. Seems like everyone who disagrees with constructive criticism likes to tell the critic where to go. Like anyone’s going to head such useless snotty advice.

Hannah can decide for herself, whether our advice is warranted or feasible.

She is extremely talented at certain aspects of broadcasting, but her research is often incomplete. That may be a result of her duties, and how much time she has to produce viewable content.

That’s ok. Depending on the nature of her job at any time, she might be able to delegate this to other people who are better at it.

But many of her strengths lie in her presentation skills, which is unique and marketable elsewhere. In my view, some of the critiques are valid, in that her voice (sometimes) is high pitched.

Maybe just sipping some water ever few minutes would help this. But I’m not an expert, and am therefore affectionately suggesting that she refine her skills with professional help.

I don’t spend a lot of time on these forums, except primarily to support Ana, and sometimes Hannah. But I’m certainly not going to disappear to the Mainstream , just because some oversensitive fan thinks we should shut up.

      1. That’s some misogynist bullcrap. For some mysterious reason, it’s always women’s voices that are considered annoying. I wonder why that is. And of course, pointing that out is “snotty.” Fuck that noise.

And this is hour 2, Ana’s research is often incomplete as well.

  14. Ok, I had to watch this, after reading some of the Hannah comments.

Yes, Hannah has a squeaky voice at times. Maybe she’s rushing. And vocal training is always a good idea, but I think Hannah has the basics – she’s animated and interesting and clear. I disagree with probably 90 percent of her positions, but at the same time I think she’s brilliant in her presentation. That wasn’t true, 3 years ago.

Cenk, can we send Hannah to some voice training, or suggest she do Toastmasters? It would be a waste of her talent, not to try to refine her technique as much as possible. Seriously, Hannah – can you try to push to get some formal coaching & practice?

Nice analysis of Michelle’s roast blowback. Mark might be right, in that maybe it’s a little too edgy for that environment, by normal standards.

But, you know – screw them. Welcome to the real world, where all of us are offended multiple times a day. Try hosting a TYT or Think Tank segment day after day, then tell us how far out Wolf’s inappropriate observations are. Try running around the country, promoting a Universal Health Care system, and you’ll discover the meaning of offensive, threatening comments.

I hate to use the phrase ‘they were asking for it’, but it’s true. They should have done their research, before deciding upon Michelle to do the roasts.

Waaaaah! Why can’t these oversensitive prima donnas be more like Carrey’s boss?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHHwf7eAH0I

Hannah – whatever shortcomings you might have in the area of speech & presentations, they are all fixable. You will be running your own organization, at some point – I am absolutely certain of this – and you will be called upon to instruct & inspire. You need to get this skillset out of the way. Please get more training.

Mark: “It’s a process.” A meaningless process, in the scheme of things. The fact is, that the country with the most missiles and the most incentive to use them, is still deciding who lives & who dies. Whatever progress might be made with North Korea or anywhere else, is miniscule compared to civilians who die or lose their families every day.

I have no faith, without structural changes in political & economic environments. Like Brooke said, take a look at the gatekeepers, that are in charge of these policy adjustments. Doomed to fail, in the long term.

Because of the risk of writing too much and triggering the blog filter, I’ll stop here.

    1. Hannah is using “uptalk”, which, like “vocal fry”, has been coded as dumb and bad, because of misogyny. There’s nothing inherently smart or not smart about using or not using it, but it’s coded in culture as dumb.

  15. Guys, I never ever comment but…seriously…Hannah just doesn’t belong on hour 1. Hard to listen to, obvious fake laughing and valley girl speak (Totally!)…on top of the weird inflections and over pronunciations during the little actual news of this hour. Just the total package of nope for me.

    1. Instead of providing constructive criticism, why expend the energy to say that you’re not going to watch the first hour? Just skip to the next hour then.

      1. So what you’re saying is that all critics should remain silent and just hope TYT reads out minds and fixes a problem they might not even know about? When has that ever worked?

        1. If the critique is nothing more than a superficial preference, then yes. Move on. This willingness of men to complain about “weird inflections and over pronunciations” is exactly why it’s difficult for women to settle in and find their own style. I’d expect this petty bullshit over in the YouTube comments section. Stop!

  16. Some peace agreements throughout the world may come from the Trump presidency and this could actually make him a great president, and a deserving nobel prize winner. The world is scared of an unstable person leading the most powerful military. We can fix our own domestic policies, and will.

  17. It is just like mainstream media making this big deal about whcd. It is such a non story. Let’s focus on issues and policy. A voice coach for Hannah would be great: inflection is off, and the sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Usually Monday is a big day for news this was lackluster “right”?

    1. The only thing good that will come from that idiot is people doing the opposite of what he says because they know if he says it, it has to be wrong. Giving him any award is like awarding a pig for being a slob.

  18. “Its like inviting a Hip Hop artist to a free speech rally and saying there are no obscenities. Its a free speech rally”
How about this: Its like saying “we will answer only to our audience, no sponsors telling us what to do. Oh dear, you can’t say that word Jimmy, we can’t say bad naughty boo boo words anymore.” Umm… huh

    1. I’m sure someone will be talking to Has about his “slip” on the show. Post Game was even better when he dropped about a dozen “bad” words. It was nice to return to classic TYT, albeit for one day only.

  19. Ok, I was ready to complement Hannah on turning her attitude around but then she f’ing has to run her mouth and say HALF THE DOCTORS IN THIS COUNTRY are over-prescribing opiods! They are NOT. Again, as a pain management patient I can tell you there are more abortion clinics than pain patient clinics at this point (and I’m in TEXAS). Moreover, the rate of all pain patients and doctors who misuse/abuse/inappropriately prescribe these drugs is TWO PERCENT (2%). 98% of us follow ALL the meticulous rules and procedures required of us to just not SUFFER HORRIBLY! So Hannah, aka Know-It-All-Barbie, cram some facts and truth in that empty space in your valley-girl head that most people have a brain in next time before you start shooting your mouth off about sh*t you know nothing about!

Fire Hannah, hire Brooke (because she was amazing)!

    1. I have chronic pain too. I get afraid when I hear so much about “opioid epidemic”. I am afraid that laws will be made so ppl in pain are just told. Fuck you, who cares, your just a junkie, and we will be left with no hope for a better life.

  20. Hannah, what the F are you talking about? The “opioid epidemic” is due to Drs over prescribing? Yeah, that’s right, docs just can’t wait to get all their patients hooked on horrible meds and then have their offices called 24-7 by the desperate addicts making shit up about the dog eating their prescriptions, etc. Oh, and they love to hear that the patient they saw yesterday just overdosed and they’ll be getting a call from the DEA later that day, just fuckin wonderful. And this is putting aside the fact that the vast, vast majority of docs really do want “health” for their patients, talking purely in terms of self interest, what’s the angle. the “pill factories” are literally 0.0001% of docs and they’ve all been put out of business the past decade. Docs stopped getting perks from drug companies a long time ago. I’ve been in medicine for two decades and I don’t know a single doc who “over prescribes.” If they’re out there, they’re rare. And it’s really, really frowned upon in the community. You’d get a really bad rap by other docs if you just handed out the meds. What isn’t so rare are frkin desperate patients with cancer or something who sell their meds, and other such things. The real problem is the drug companies profiting off of illness (analogous to weapons companies and war.) The drug companies have tried to muddy the waters by saying that the problem is doctors over prescribing when it really comes down to having a for-profit healthcare system and a society that’s beyond fucked up. Hannah, please learn something before pontificating like a freaking Fox news idiot. Almost makes me want to dump TYT.

  21. I really don’t understand what’s “too edgy.” She was hired to do comedy, specifically to roast the media and politicians. I didn’t think of it as too forceful at all. Hell the average TYT is less politically correct.

And that’s what this is actually about. Political correctness. Michelle Wolf has the audacity to call out these people to their face (which is what she was literally hired to do) and yet she gets all this BS flak for it.

  22. Of course government officials don’t see elementary school kids as equally “precious cargo” as a government official. The kids don’t pay taxes, yet.

  23. The abortion bit was the only thing that bugged me. As stated before, it equates being pro choice as pro abortion. Im pro choice as its no one business who get an abortion. I don’t agree with it. But its not my body. Not my choice.

    1. Agreed~ but to be fair (?), that joke then bashes both sides.

For pro-choice advocates, it shows the right as hypocritical & ridiculous.

For anti-choice advocates, it shows the over-the-top belief that women see abortions as no big deal!

But, for me, that was the only one I can think of that made me cringe a bit.

    2. The whole point of the joke is to make fun of the right wing portrayal of how pro-choice people are pro-abortion.

  24. To Hannah’s point about Mike Pence realising if it’s not a good idea to have guns around him then he would realise it’s not good to have them around kids, it’s the same parallel to war. Nobody in congress or the house has kids serving in war because they know it’s dangerous and don’t want their kids to die, but it doesn’t stop them advocating for war as long as it’s not THEIR kids. If it doesn’t directly effect them, they can preach whatever they want and don’t see the irony.

    1. dare_13, the relationship between the citizenry and the military became very distant after Vietnam, when the draft was replaced with an all-volunteer military. The change made it much easier for politicians’ scions to avoid lethal military service. Unlike Bush, who had to get Poppy to call in favors to get Bush into the National Guard to avoid service in Vietnam, today’s Kongress Kids can simply ignore the calls to patriotism by pressing the skip ad button while on YouTube. The change made it easier to wage war wherever. After all, who is going to protest on behalf of volunteers?

The result of the January 27, 1973 decision to end the draft has led us to a $611 billion defense budget for 2016, accounting for 16% of all federal spending and about half of discretionary spending, which is more than what these eight countries spend on defense combined: China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, India, France, United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany.

dare_13, you are right about Congressional offspring, but the situation is worse than you have stated. Besides its self-perpetuating nature and the obscene amounts of money wasted, Congress has abdicated its Constitutional responsibility to declare war. Why should Congress care, it’s not their kids!

  25. You could tell that none of the ppl at the WHCD have seen the Handmaids Tale, otherwise they probably would have got the Aunt Lydia joke. It obviously had nothing to do with looks but a very apt political analogy. The abortion joke was a bit much, not that it was offensive but a bit crass. The mistress part was funny tho, maybe she should have made the joke shorter and would have landed better.

    1. The Bronx Remembers, you may be right in the aggregate, but not on some of the detail. Theodore Roosevelt projected American military might unnecessarily. Woodrow Wilson was a racist. Trump is beloved by evangelical flocks.

  26. Michelle Wolf was fucking brilliant at the WHCD.
    She did nothing wrong.
Best of all, she did not back down after all the backlash.
We need more people like her.

    1. Hannah’s presentation and content need… remediation. Juxtaposing H’s voice with Michelle Wolf’s is like playing two fingernail notes on the chalkboard. Hey, its fixable.

    2. I skipped the first hour after seeing Hannah was on the panel. She lowers the quality of the network virtually every time she’s on.

  27. I want peace in Korea. I would be so happy if Trump got the peace prize. I would love to be wrong about Trump. What did Obama do to earn the peace prize?

    1. IceColdSwilla, what about Syria, what about Afghanistan, what about Iraq, what about Cameroon, what about Yemen, what about Uganda? It would be just like Trump, the master of the Peter Principle, to bungle his way into a Nobel Peace Prize for ending a Phony War! Trump does not have the human capacity of empathy to promote “fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.” Even if all the qualifying events happen at the same time during Trump’s “watch,” he will still not deserve a Nobel because he has no soul.

Since you asked, here is what the Norwegian Nobel Committee stated as being the reason for Obama’s Nobel in 2009:

“The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama’s vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.

“Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics. Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play. Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts. The vision of a world free from nuclear arms has powerfully stimulated disarmament and arms control negotiations. Thanks to Obama’s initiative, the USA is now playing a more constructive role in meeting the great climatic challenges the world is confronting. Democracy and human rights are to be strengthened.

“Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future. His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world’s population.

“For 108 years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has sought to stimulate precisely that international policy and those attitudes for which Obama is now the world’s leading spokesman. The Committee endorses Obama’s appeal that “Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges.”

      “Oslo, October 9, 2009 ”

Hillary is in the woods; hopefully, she stays there. Obama is giving speeches and earning large honorariums from his former corporate masters. Both are complicit in Trump’s ascendancy. Time to move on and fix the mess they left us.

      1. wow, Oslo really opened the BS faucet full to create that stream of over-the-top hyperbole, when the real answer is simple: “first black president.”

Obama was a total lapdog for the Military Industrial Complex like every president before him for past 50 years. And a lapdog for every other Corporate interest. He achieved his goal of winning the approval of the great and powerful.

Hope and change? Hilarious. Nobel Peace Price? Hilarious.

Donald Trump is president today because Barrack Obama gave us neither hope nor change (nor peace).

  28. I think maybe she wanted the joke to bomb so that when the audience booed/ groaned it would set her up for the mistress part of the joke.

  29. The NRA /Pence thing reminds me of that scene in “American History X” when Danny sees the Neo-Nazis and the Mexicans exchanging drugs for money.

  30. There probably ARE some jokes about abortion that are actually funny, but treating abortion light heartedly just plain dense. It is a mistake and offensive. It equates being pro-choice with being pro-abortion….the gross equivalency those of us in the feminist movement 40 years ago fought Phyllis Schlaffley about. Now, THERE’s an Aunt Lydia.
I really like Wolf’s comedy and style, but I don’t know anyone I respect that makes jokes about an abortion they had. Not funny and in really poor form.

    1. For me that was the one joke she did that landed flat. I give her credit for being really bold and trying it, but yeah, it was poorly done and I could see it fueling anti-abortion morons.

    2. I’m a strong, far-left liberal, and I was disgusted by Michelle Wolf. It was just awful. I don’t think anything in this clip was funny. It was just mean and distasteful. The recipients of the jokes have definitely earned this kind of scathing commentary, but the WHCD just isn’t the place for it. The WHCD is supposed to be light-hearted and silly, not abusive and scathing.

      1. Regardless of your politics, you basically identify yourself as a person without a sense of humor. That’s okay. Just own it. And, you don’t know what a roast is.

      2. Comedy is meant to push boundaries. Its meant to make a point, and in the best of cases, it’s meant to be abrasive.

Stop being a crybabies and have a laugh. I assume most of you sensitive types live outside the belt of New Jersey to Boston, Where everyone is a fucking asshole and get out of the left lane.

Liberals should be embracing her rant, not for the terrible ,unfunny jokes, but for the guts to deliver them.

Stop being fucking crybabies and embrace some aggressiveness, trust me. Liberals are going to need it. You think Trump town was won on politeness? Get fucking real.

    3. The whole point of the joke is to make fun of the right wing portrayal of how pro-choice people think about abortion.
