  1. Great post game. Seems like Hasan might have grown up a little. Glad to see it and maybe I’ll check out some of his videos now.

  2. yo-Joy Reid did exactly what you are asking for her to do btw – it was on Saturday so you get a pass coz of the whca stuff, but she spent like 20 minutes talking about it with a panel of lgbtq people.

  3. Hasan always looks great! Sometimes I laugh when I see his rings, its just funny to me. He shouldn’t worry about people online complaining about your fashion, there’s nothing wrong with being confident. I gotta get that sweater tho.

Oh and you’re woke af bro

  4. Color me pleasantly surprised. If the April 30 shows were the first time I’d ever seen Hasan Piker, I’d be thinking “I like this guy, I hope he’s on again soon.”

    Congrats, Has.

  5. Mark Thompson should have his on youTube channel with VIDEO. Please, Mark, start doing this. You deserve to have a more expanded format for your reporting. THAT would be cool and would elevate your platform to be on par with TYT and Jimmy.

  6. I think the part of the correspondint dinner the public sees is great. It was always the most reassuring thing to me to see the court jester roast the leader. Even more reassuring is seeing many of them go on to host big talk shows after, instead of being exicuted. This years dinner proves its both sides that cant take a joke.

  7. Hassan really brought it in the post-game! Why didn’t he use some of this energy and rage during the main show? I’m sorry for Mark who got a little edged out at the end but this was Hassan at his best doing what he does best and I loved it; Hassan does a lot of the sales and marketing stuff at TYT behind the scenes, I’m fairly sure I heard that, but the point is he can really talk logically and SELL liberal talking points and do it well!

Plus he can be really nice and he has such a big frame body-wise that he seems like he’d be a great guy to get a hug from. Is that ok to say in the #TimesUp era?

  8. great to see these two together, I didn’t realise how intelligent and informed Hasan is. The corporate media is in a very fragile place, its days are numbered.

  9. People are always surprised by Hassan and as he said he gets criticised for his appearance which detracts from someone with intelligent and well thought political analysis and opinions. The left needs more people like Hassan that can reach out to the wider younger audience being able to harness the power of social media to promote the message.
This wider range of opinions and personalities is one of the main reasons I am a member rather than the standardised cookie cutter political commentators seen in the rest of the media.
Getting rarer now to hear TYT presenters talking without censoring their more passionate colourful language in the main shows, which is now especially true with Cenk and Ana – and even Jimmy Dore now has to watch his ‘P and Qs’ on Aggressive Progressives
Has anyone else noticed this change in language lately?

  10. Nooooooo! They had to cut Mark off mid-flow! To paraphrase Kanye: “Let him finish dawg……”

On a serious note – MT & Has is a good combo – they bounce off each other well.

    1. they really did just click, with a sense of mutual inter-generational respect (which we need more of). maybe it exposes my subconscious prejudice; in being so surprised that this was one of the most engaging and insightful post games in ages IMHO and i do watch almost all of them…

ive already huge respect for Mark whose always on point, but can get drowned out sometimes by the more extroverted personas of Cenk & Ben e.g. on Old Skool… but Hassan seems dead on point and super media savvy as well.

….hmmm, I’d love to see an old skool episode with just these 2, as it felt like a conversation that was just really kicking off when they got timed out. perhaps there is an untapped potentially fascinating ‘odd couple’ (generationally speaking) source of dialogue there, as both seemed to genuinely take on slightly new perspectives based on points made by the other. neither even superficially disputed 1 Oz of what the other had to say, and i guess its my own prejudice for expecting they would have little in common, when there was clearly a high degree of respect for each other’s mutually complimentary knowledge and skill sets.

      Bravo

      10/10!

  11. Anyone else having issues viewing the post game? It’s telling me I need to be a member…. but I already am…. Membership just renewed on Saturday though, so I’m wondering if there’s a slight glitch in the system, or it needs to update still (first business day since the renewal and all)….
I’ll email member services if it’s not fixed by tomorrow evening, or if no one else is having the same issue and has already emailed, I’m patient, I can wait… Just curious if it’s only me, or not.

    1. suuuuuure I type that all out, enter it… page refreshes and it’s there, working fine….

I refreshed 5 times before that, logged out, logged back in… nothing… But I type up a comment, put it out there publicly, and tada!!! Fixed that exact moment….
      How embarrassing….

    2. I had a similar issue, but after I logged out and back in again, it didn’t give me that error anymore.

    3. I had the same problem, freaked for a second, refreshed the page and everything was back to normal. I guess TYT growing pains will be around for a while.

    4. not that specifically, but the TYT website has been in frequent disarray this past week or so, more than ever – it seems pretty clear it is still online whilst under maintenance, which may be the lesser of of 2 PITAs?…

  12. Dude, for a “We don’t know how to start” post game, I loved this one. It was great to hear about the correspondence dinner and hear the actual happenings. To think it is one thing, but to have your suspicions confirmed it another. Great job.

  13. I’m not normally Hassan’s biggest fan but he made some great points today and was more tolerable than normal. He definitely seems more mature than what I’ve seen in the past, it was a refreshing change.
