  1. Peanut butter & honey sandwiches are awesome, preferable to pb&j. I also like toasting the bread of any sandwich I make. As always this OS was fun to watch. Great show guys! Thanks

  2. Ben, can you please do a little less Adderall before the next show? Christ. You sound lile you’re speaking in fast-forward.

  3. So this guy is at least partially responsible for youtube titles?

The clickbait nonsense titles of youtube videos are the reason why I’m usually too embarrassed to share them with anyone. I think this is more of a problem for hour 1 vids than hour 2, which is why I don’t want to jump to conclusions.

  4. Something like “The Graham Norton Show” Ben? The show with Matt Damon, Bill Murray and Hugh Bonnevilleis from 2014 is fantastic!

  5. I wish Ben wasn’t distracted so much by a tweet about his dog to have acknowledged the comment Chris made about being a hair model. I want to hear that conversation. lol

  6. I worked as a cashier and not once did someone speak up when they gave me a 10 and I gave them change for a 20. If they accidentally gave me too much, I always gave it back though. Of course, it’s different. One is stealing from an individual and the other from a store. I see the temptation because faceless corporations rip us off constantly so if you get to rip them off once, it feels like payback.

Wouldn’t you admire the person who was tempted to steal but didn’t more than the person who didn’t even think about it at all? One had to fight the urge and the other just gave it back without thinking? Ben’s therapist has a weird metric for morality. Plus I don’t even think that person exists. Everyone is tempted. That’s a part of being human. Not thinking about it all makes you a robot.

    1. I give the extra change back if the cashier gave me too much. It’s not that I’m wanting to be fair to the company, but rather I know that the employee will get in trouble (or even fired) if the amount in the register is off.

    2. Once was distracted on the phone while at an ATM machine and walked off leaving £100 ($140) at the machine.
Walked around the corner and a stranger who was waiting in the queue chased after me and gave me the money.
At cashiers always point out if too much change, is just a natural response and have done even when money was tight. Always good for general life Karma :-)

  7. There’s few people I’ve listened to over my life where I can say I agree with every single political point made, Ben is one of those. He’s hyper-aware of nuance in every topic in the books, more so than both Cenk and Jimmy.

    1. Do agree, Ben doesn’t get as ‘carried-away’ with a point that Cenk and Ana sometimes do and gives a very fair intelligent and informed perspective to political events. Him and Cenk have had very watchable and heated disagreements on air, and the diverse range of opinions is something that keeps me being a TYT fan.
Loved Ben’s comment on ‘Pop Trigger’ being that programme for the kids about nothing important LOL

  8. thanks all – another good old school, and good to see Mr. Houck someplace other than twitter – enjoyed it very much (so i can now add one of the Almost Eight Hundred to one of the Faithful 19! ;)

  9. As I was watching live I could’ve bet any amount of money on Ben making great points.
Now that I get to rewatch it I know I was right. Expecially that now, you know, I can actually hear him speak, which is great.
Mark, always nice seeing your hat on Old School.

  10. Although I haven’t seen this episode yet, seeing “Ben’s dad” as a topic makes me feel bad for Ben. I wanna hear about Ben, not his dad (even though his dad is cool too).

As always, love Old School, especially when Mark and Ben are on.
