      @TYT MemberServices – what happened to the fix to get shows up faster? What happened to communications? I mean, your great response about handling things was only two weeks ago.

      Guess that great response didn’t actually translate into action. I suspect that the issue is that someone just forgets to post the show, forgets to post updates when there will be no show.

  6. I love Jimmy but his distrust of the Government has turned him into a Russian “Useful Idiot”. Give it a rest Jimmy and let the investigation play out. After it’s finished you can believe it or not. Constantly denying it’s possible Russia may have connections with Trump is foolish and getting old. It’s like I am watching Rachel Maddow’s opposite. She covers Russia non stop linking Trump and Jimmy covers it non stop showing Trump has no connection to Russia.

    Take it from one of your biggest fans…. Give it a rest please.

  8. This is such a great outreach channel to the Right. Jimmy’s tough-love commentary for liberals is hard to swallow because it’s often too raw, one-sided and harsh to believe. It often feels like you’re watching a left-bashing Right-wing show so most liberals feel attacked when they listen and push back instinctively. Oh’s commentary always helps to give a more balanced perspective and offers deeper context.

    Stef, if you want a state-owned bank put your money into the Bank of North Dakota.

The major news shows are drowning out these stories and voices and needs with too much crap/Russia and Trump dramas; but Charles would be excellent at fighting the good fight on TV!

  16. Tyt updated their Twitter with info on why there was no main show today. They said it was due to unavoidable “technical difficulties.” I assume it may be due to the technological upgrade Cenk mentioned they were undertaking over the weekend, although that is just speculation on my part.

    1. While it may have been more helpful if they posted it on the main page, on the shows the day before they let everyone know that they were doing updates on Friday and through the weekend, so there’d be no show.

      1. Whomever is responsible for their technology should be fired immediately. No technical person should be ripping out the old system before the new one is proven reliable.

        They should still be recording the shows, and uploading them, raw, immediately. Wouldn’t that be nice for the members?

        Instead, just dead air. TYT is a streaming media company that cannot.. stream. Fail.

    1. Jimmy is sorta venturing into the obsession with the Russia Investigation. Russian conclusion is real because we have a President that has been compromised by the Russians, its no conspiracy.

      2. Jimmy makes a lot of very good points on various topics, but I noticed he will always do two things: 1. Defend voting for Jill Stein and blame everyone else for voting Clinton or Trump 2. Talk about how other people are talking about the Russian interference. The second one I find odd because it seems to do a lot to galvanize supporters of that movement from the left which isn’t helpful. It obfuscates the Russian interference in the elections and the very likely collusion of Trump with Russia. The interference I don’t believe made that much of a difference(inline with Jimmy), but the collusion is a much more pertinent threat given the very possible financial ties between Trump and Russia.

  22. Jimmy, what Doug Jones does gain with his vote. He spends at least 40% of his time shilling for campaign donations, I venture a guess that his vote got him campaign donations. What a sell out.

    1. I have also found others become resistant to the message because they reject the anger.

      It’s OK to be angry and even curse once in a while, but you’ve got to save it for the times you really mean it.

      That means no cannabis-fueled hypomanic rants ten minutes after dosing.

      That means keeping a check on the emotions.

      That means remaining in control.

      Then they respect you.

      1. In the future, no one will upset anyone else with their words. No one will have a passion for anything because they are afraid of hurting the feelings of the other humans who are afraid of both hurting others and being hurt. In the future, everyone will love everyone because we are all the same, human, sensitive and vulnerable. This is NOT the future. People who would like to believe that one can deal with aggression by others by simply allowing the aggression to continue and hope for the best, like to cite individuals like Gandhi, however, even Gandhi had people willing to shout and support his message. If not, change would never have come to India. The collapse of the British Empire didn’t hurt. Do not confuse the delivery of the message with the content of the message. It’s perfectly natural to get upset with brutal slayings, merciless drone strikes and torture. There is a reason it’s called Aggressive Progressives.

  25. I had a job that paid $15 per hr. I got fired over petty nothingness. I feel like my only chance is gone. I got a new job, but it pays less. Every other job I had in my life paid less. I have a college degree, but that makes no diff. I don’t go hungry because my sister gives me food money. I can’t get food stamps because I was responsible enough not to have children. So few gov programs give a fuck if I die. Flying anywhere for a funeral is a pipe dream. I can’t even get a bus ticket. I am pissed.

    I live in Portland and just wanted to let you know unfortunately the trails on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge are still closed. They might open up some select ones slowly over the years though. As a fall back there are a lot of hikes on the Washington side of the river, which the fire didn’t affect. If you need any info about it later feel free to reach out.

    p.s. It’s still a beautiful drive either way and can still see the waterfalls

    1. Hey, thanks for the info. Too bad the Oregon side is still closed. I loved the Wachlella Falls (spelling?) hike so much. It’s easy and ends with a cool waterfall and a natural cave. Maybe I’ll take Jimmy out to Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach. The rugged coastline of Oregon is spectacular.

I’m glad this show is the most popular on TYT – it means that Jimmy, Steve, Steph, Malcolm are sharing their passion and stories that are resonating with thousands and thousands and hopefully millions and millions of us (progressives on all sides of the political spectrum) who are struggling in this oppressive world of vicious tyrants with too much money and too much power.

  33. I would like you to connect the dots after I watched one of the most amazing shows on the intertubes. You guys crafted an amazing web of all they is wrong in the world today, and you didn’t connect the dots, And you talked about the article about the Doug Jones sellout and said it was depressing? Here you need to change the focus, because I took it as one of the best anti-depressive articles in a long time. I should know since I suffer from chronic depression, due to a shoulder problem and also a PTSD after a pump problem. And from a gun victim problem. I grew up in Littleton as the child of a Father that bounced around in the weapons industry. Now I live in Switzerland and I want to start a Comedy Club and I want Jimmy to be the opening act. I call it “Orange County Republican Right Wing Snowflake Comedy Club”. I think you have an idea of the Swiss mentality. But you will be allowed to swear, Jimmy.
    Back to the gun issue. I had family that worked on the Columbine shooting and my Dad suffered from a medical condition three days after the shootings so he is an indirect victim. Several years before I had a redneck lean out of a pickup truck waving a shotgun saying he was going to shoot me. Welcome home! I went for one year to Arapahoe HS where there was another shooting. And I was in that Aurora theater at least twice.
    But I live in Switzerland now and every cowboy points to them as being a role model? Really? They have the second highest suicide rate in the world and a lot are by guns. And…
    I had a friend that was killed by a looney tunes and I was witness to one of their last encounters before he killed her with a gun. Three weeks after Sandy Hook I had another friend that was killed by a failed Rambo who killed three women and wounded others. Not a mass shooting, so they don’t talk about it. So when I go to baggage claims, I have to take several carts. Now, whenever there is a shooting, I have a visceral reaction. And I don’t care. It gives me energy to fight, to be Aggressive.
    Parkland is in the news, and now another shooting. I feel for those kids, but I am in awe with their reaction. And they want to change the gun laws. And they are not taking no for an answer. But they are single issue. Why aren’t they getting any action on the gun issue? Money. And I think that Switzerland is behind this since they are big in weapons and banks. In fact, Wall Street comes to Switzerland to bank. The Swiss were behind the conference where Les Moonves gave his speech about Donald Trump. And they are getting rich on the weapons merchants. The same day thatTrump was blowing Saudi Arabia, the Swiss TV had a scandal where a weapons maker turned themselves in since they sold bullets to Russia. We have Russia stories every day. Gee, they never have any stories about weapons and Saudi Arabia, even though they are BFF with them.
    But I want to have you connect the dots. Our society is not working. The US is poor and has become an oil supplier and an army for the European economy. They do not want to wake up, and don’t Greenwash Europe. We have some solar panels but they refuse to build battery factories since selling dinosaur juice cars is good for the German economy and the Euro. The Trilateral Commission has taken over the US of A and you have no say in your government. It is time for a change. Gosh Golly, you have been saying this for over a year that it is time for a Revolution. Guess what a Revolution is? It is not an election. But you guys on AP are too soft. But you have the right words, so maybe you can do something.
    Invite that Skinhead Lesbian and that Fake Actor from Parkland on the show. But they can’t talk for the first 10 minutes, Steph, Jimmy and Steve, and Malcolm and Graham and Mark can talk. Tell them what is happening in the country, and explain that the guns are also a part of the problem. When the dots are connected, and as I said you have 10 minutes, you have to shut up. Let the students take over. When they have been exposed to the big picture, we have to put our future into their hands. They are young and will find the energy. I am almost 62, I have good ideas but I don’t have the strength to fight. They are young, but they have to have their dots connected. It won’t be too difficult.
    As I said, this was one of the best shows, except for the continutity. You might be off next week, but there might not be another AP if everything goes well. The sequel could be worth it.

    2. Ana says ‘saw-dee’ Arabia. Cenk says ‘sow-dee’, (as in female pig) the correct pronunciation.

      Amy Goodman says ‘saw-dee’ too. I cringe every time because otherwise her language is usually proper. She slaughters some names though.

      I don’t think it is asking too much that people who claim to speak truth to power should also bother to ask about the correct pronunciation of words. That’s a part of truth and good mental hygiene too.

      Anyways, Apple hasn’t released the iRack yet, so it’s completely bizarre to discuss it like it’s a thing.

I really like this show and I like the main show also but Cenk has being drawn into tbe Russia hurricane and is spinning around and around there, you guys must draw him out, he is a hardworking guy and seems earnest, but sometimes he sounds like a distant echo of Rachel Maddow.   41. Since Bernie’s lost cause we do not utilize the term “Democrat” any longer, it’s gone from the lexicon; we insert “Establishment” instead when referring to any position or politician which isn’t a progressive one. This allows one to ignore Party affiliation.
    It’s made political “life” much easier. Not for progress? You’re “Establishment.
    Actually, its a retread of Vietnam era Term, we were “anti-establishment” by protesting the War; but it fits sooo well today!

You’re right, it’s embarrassing that the magnitude of poverty in America is so shocking, because we NEVER hear about it anywhere else. Bernie, Elizabeth, Michael and the other panelists did an excellent job of laying out the chilling truth.

Alphabet Chairman Eric Schmidt, who stumped for President Obama and invested in the data analytics firm, Civis Analytics, helped to power Hillary Clinton’s election efforts; Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose advocacy group, Fwd.us, is pushing for immigration reform for The Obama administration, so as Jimmy said Cambridge Analytics fits the “narrative of why Trump won”.   49. I wait all week for the Aggressive Progressives and every week the show just gets better. (It’s the only TYT show worth watching.) I’m watching Aggressive Progressives on Thursday, the day Trump announced John Bolton’s appointment. Wanted to see what CNN would say. Hard to tell because for the past hour Anderson Cooper has been interviewing an ex-playboy bunny who had an affair with Trump. And that’s why we love you Jimmy, Stef and Steve. You’re the voice of truth.

  50. Years ago I worked with a woman who had been homeless – she worked in a very entry level, bottom rung, job. We had no idea she was homeless. She came in to work every day wondering where she was going to sleep that night. She was also caring for her two grandchildren – all three of them were homeless. We found out later after she finally had housing, but not even realizing that a coworker was struggling like this, just appalling that we didn’t know and that she didn’t make enough money at a company where she worked full time to afford a home. I’m sure she’s not the only one at this company who has experienced this.
