  2. Dan Rather he sure does prove what wisdom can do the news broadcasting. I thought the report on Toys “R” Us was excellent in enlightens the public to part of the problem. I only wish all news organizations would have expose this issue this way. I am glad to see Dan Rather on this platform. I think every independent person that circulates reports or news looks up to him is probably one of the greatest American reporters we’ve ever had that still in always has had integrity. A person with such a professional status nobody has to worry about stupidness called fake news. Dan is the real deal that I wish I could watch every night because quality news helps our system of checks and balances by informing the public of the problems. Thank you TYT for bringing us Dan Rather back I also used to enjoy the Sunday morning reports with Bob Schieffer. At least in those days you felt you were honestly informed and those of us that paid attention thought it was very important stuff. It still is important stuff but now we are all in the fight of our lives

  8. I, too, was blown away by the Toys R Us story. That is a such a travesty. How do we prevent that from happening again? And, this is a story that has not seen anywhere else! Thank you, Mr. Rather. I’m feeling quite impotent about turning these things around other than writing to deaf members of Congress. Mr. Rather, where are we going to find a leader that has the vision and the skills to fix this kleptocracy and wealth disparity problem? Anyone we need to keep an eye on or give our support? How do we get money out of politics. Thank you so much for doing this program. What you are doing is so far above anything else being offered! Thank you!

  10. Absolutely! The US has it’s own oligarchs running a cleptocracy and the government has been bought by them. It’s wonderful to have Dan Rather’s insights and historical perspective. So glad you are part of TYT Mr. Rather!

  11. Mind blown re failure of Toys R Us – brilliant explanation that I had not heard elsewhere. A similar thing happened to ‘Dick Smith Electronics’ in Australia: predator private equity firms shredding formerly good solid businesses and leaving their employees without jobs.
    TYT should release the Toys R Us segment on YouTube separately in addition to the full segment – this information really needs to get out there.
