  1. Even if a person could fight the debters prison scam and afford lawyers, no one believes poor people. Which leaves the only option left. Bankruptcy. But if you file bankruptcy then you lose all assistance programs for the 7 years it takes to get that off your record. So then you’re going to accrue more debt trying to recover from that. This country and government is literally made to keep poor or struggling people poor and struggling.

  2. Seeing the story of the Moonies with the guns I would like to point out one thing I have never seen is a foaming at the mouth American gun lunatic who is an atheist.

  3. I recently watched a documentary about the Oklahoma City bombing. It included a lot of content about Ruby Ridge and Waco, and it indicated a strong link between the OKC bombing and the “they’re coming to take my guns!” mindset. Is another major domestic terrorism event against government actors looming?

  4. Please be careful with these 23 and me type services. Genetic evidence in criminal cases is not as iron clad as it’s made out to be. It’s only a matter of time before the government gives law enforcement access to these records.
DNA can last on a surface for many years. If a body is found in a room your close relative was in years before they could become a suspect in the case through your DNA record.

  5. You’re right Ana- That pic of the woman with her gun is a display of the epitome of Idolatry

  6. The Jennings v. Rodriguez case is bad, but its not a question of whether he would get a trial. He was convicted of possession of a controlled substance and theft of a vehicle. Convicted. He was THEN subject to removal proceedings because of the conviction. He was detained while the removal proceedings were taking place, including several appeals. The ruling of the Supreme Court is that he was not entitled to bail during the removal proceedings. I think the ruling is awful, but it doesn’t help anyone to say that it’s a denial of Habeas Corpus. In fact, it was before the Supreme Court on a Habeas petition while the appeals on the underlying deportation proceedings were pending.

  7. OK. Suppose you accept all that BS Habeus Corpus rationale about determining citizen status, yada yada… _3_ FUCKING_ YEARS?!?! Seriously? The government has become TYRANTS, plain and simple.

  8. Another great show, always informative and interesting. I love that you press hard on media on the right lying constantly and the other doesn’t. Nor do they mention the lying.

I found TYT looking for a newssource that got the facts, thoroughly researched them, and thought, discussed, debated things and called a spade a spade. If a statement is racist it’s racist, there is no pussy footing around with that, unlike news orgs. that claim they are trying to be impartial and yet really they seem just scared of having an opinion on anything.

  9. To the debtor prison story: Actually, I think Cenk might be wrong and you can garnish Social Security. I’m on disability myself and I believe the rule is the government CAN garnish your check but not past the amount that would reduce your monthly payment below $700. So say if you get $800 a month, then the government (student loan collectors for example) can garnish $100/mo. off your check. I’m not sure if that’s limited to Student Debt or not, though. Also folks if my memory serves, in civil court, you are not considered in danger “of life and limb” and therefore you don’t therefore get a free attorney appointed to you if you can’t afford one, as you would in criminal court. But I don’t understand why the government or taxpayers want to be serving as an unpaid collections agency for private lenders. Did they explain that at all because I think that’s important but maybe I missed it?

As to immigration detention: Ana, every time you say the word “injustice” remember Trump is making the Great-Wall-Of-Dumbass 10 feet higher. Don’t worry though, Canada will pay for it, BELIEVE ME!

The CNN Town Hall Question: This Fox “News” crap is getting beyond ridiculous! When are we going to hold them legally to account for their libelous, unethical, DISGUSTING behavior?!

Damn that was a fast buh bye!

  10. That’s incorrect about 23 and me, they are selling your genetic data. And life insurance companies are allowed to use your genetic information to discriminate against you.

  11. I love my passport intesely, it has taken me to wonderful places and it represents security, an AR15 is nothing to it.

  12. Caveat with 23andme. I did the medical portion and freaked out when I got the results. At the top in bold and blue was a link to a report, for both late onset Alzheimers and Parkinsons. Then it listed the potential diseases that I am predisposed to develop or indicate that I am a carrier but not likely to develop the disease. Who wouldn’t assume they had the genetic markers for Alzheimers and Parkinsons, as these are the only two diseases identified with linked reports. I was on my way out the door and only had time to see the bare results. I’m hyperventilating, on the phone with my mom in tears, freaking out. Later in the day when I read the reports, at the very end it says I don’t have the markers. WTF! I had to read the thing twice again, because I couldn’t believe they’d go through this whole explanation and slide show just to say I am not predisposed to develop these diseases. So if you get a 23andme report, make sure you read the whole thing before panicking.

  13. Great Fuken show.
I’m glad to hear Cenk mention it’s not even,.the Right needs to step it up Majorly.
Also, you should have a sound bight of Trump saying he could shoot some 1 and not lose any votes.

  14. Because I love y’all, I will share my you tube channel.

I am a life long musician, specializing in an ambition to combine jazz, rock, fuck with the classical guitar using a bossa nova style. Baden Powell is my hero. Except he drank slightly more than I do. Slightly more. :-)

Debtors prisons by another name is just freedom in disguise. Or as the Talking Heads said “Stop Making Sense”.

Talking heads? HMMMM what a name right?

Mulvaney is such a butt fuck. All these mo-fo’s. Exactly Anna … $3,000 bucks is all it takes for these scumbuckets to lay their soul before their masters. OMG. OMFG.

I am raw today in case you haven’t noticed. I won’t go into specifics. Something to do with being a 20 year great math teacher and bullshit. The intersection. Yeah. That.
