  1. I disagree with the idea that ppl should not be able to kill themselves in jail because they are “getting out of punishment”. Someone sitting in jail does no one any good. It just costs tons on money and the victims & their families are not better off. Maybe I sound like I am crazy, but its better if the guilty person is just gone.

  2. Wow lots of folks hatin’ on his campfire edition. Don’t want to hate on it but I do agree with most people up in here that there needed to be more details. I had lots of how many, who and where questions after this episode.

I’ll research it of course, but a bit more details would’ve been nice.??

  3. I love you guys but this was really bad :/
I’m not even clear on how many victims there were, let alone how they were killed

Still really appreciate all your hard work on this series though!

  4. Kinda bungled this episode guys. There was minimal discussion of what events actually transpired and instead a heavy focus on how it was interpreted through lifetime television. That’s all good and well if everyone watching has just seen the movie and has context, but we (the audience) do not. I think the hosts forgot that aspect of their storytelling because everyone in the room knew the details. This felt a lot like how you feel when two of your friends have seen a movie and you haven’t and they get really into discussing it, but you have no idea what they’re talking about.

  5. No more short ‘in-depth’ crime stories! Do a full case per episode! (but love the guests and the show!)

  6. So can we get a real episode on this case? I love Grace, I love the guests, and I don’t hate the campfire editions but this episode was just bad… there is no other way to put it. I would like to see a legit episode because I know you guys could do better and I am now curious

  7. I agree with the others who say they don’t particularly like the campfire editions. Maybe we’re in the minority on this-I try to avoid YouTube comment sections so not sure what people say there. Btw, can you do an episode with John(ny Sprinkles Pie Iadorola)?

    1. I like some of the campfire editions and dislike others. I did not like the theme for this one and think the episodes are some of the worst. This episode is hands down my least favorite of any and all of the MWF I have seen. I did not learn anything, they were completely jumbled, they brought up stuff and gave it no context. Just bad and I hate to say that because I love the show so much

  8. I really feel like I didn’t learn anything about the Craigslist killer. This episode was more of a review of the Lifetime movie.

    1. I look at this show as just a movie review, I think that is all it is supposed to be. One thing that is missing from the reviewers though is the mental healh aspect of these murderers. The review is incomplete without including that aspect. There should be at least one person that presents that view of it. It is not normal for anyone to kill another person.

      1. How is a show about killers supposed to be a movie review show? Just because these episodes were tied to Lifetime movies (which was a poor topic choice I think) doesn’t change the fact that it was supposed to be about the Craigslist killer.

    1. Also, Robert Pickton.

My friend was in one of Mark Twitchell’s films and my co-worker knew his victim, Johnny Altinger.

  9. Disappointed in this episode. I knew very little about this case before, sadly I learned NOTHING new today. I would rather you didn’t have a show than cheat your fans with this half/ass waste of time. Sorry for the put down, but I know you can do better.

  10. Sounds like Grace is trying to say that the lifetime movie romanticized Phillip Markoff.

To me, he’s not that bad looking plus most real life people who are depicted in movies are played by someone way better looking than they are. That’s basically a big part of being a movie star, being better looking than average. So that criticism I don’t get but I do get the rest of it. The violin music and whatnot,.

    1. I took it more of about how Lifetime romanticized Markoff in general, not really about his physical appearance. The comment about how the actor is more attractive than the person seemed like just a small aside. You’re definitely right about how 99% of the time any real person is portrayed in TV or movies it’s by a more conventionally attractive person.

  11. Noooo! Not another campfire edition. They are way too short. I guess it was an ok format for historical methods of torture…but for all the others it just feels like a preview of an episode…one that we will never actually get to see (i.e. Salem Witch Trials)

    *sigh* :(

    1. I was born and raised in Boston, I still live here. I was 27 when this case happened and it was terrifying as it all unfolded. I avoided watching the movie having lived through it, and by your accounts I didn’t miss much.
