  1. So happy to have Dan Rather doing member funded news. I enjoy very much his wit and word play. His thought provoking presentation of the situations he reports on, encourages a listener to reflect on the human aspects of these stories and their larger implications in society. So much respect for him and TYT for giving him a forum. So happy to see an octogenarian fighting in the progressive struggle. #courage

  2. Jimmyhoo Please, take your right wing propoganda….and shove it up your ass….all of us can use the internet and look up gun laws from other countries, that ACTUALLY work…..

  3. Your proof is Diane feinstein from 1995……she is not a liberal and your “evidence” is fucking pathetic……how much legislation has feinstein passed?…..oh right……none

  4. Thank you for the Russian Roulette quip. An incredibly ironic and deep play on words. I just wish that it was a comment on a less tragic event so I could laugh without being a bastard.

  5. Fran Lebowitz was on Bill Maher’s show trying to twist Russia’s interference into trashing Bernie. She completely ignores that Putin blamed Clinton for Russia’s anti-government demonstrations earlier on.

    1. Of course Lebowitz took the opportunity she hates Bernie she cut him down on Bill Marh before, Not letting them get under my skin like they want. Probably one of the few times she gets real Publicity anyways lol

      1. *face palm* Jimmyhoo, either you are a troll and/or you need a proper education. I implore you to go to college and learn how to do research so that you don’t spout bs and look like a moron, as you have done so confidently here. You won’t convince anyone smarter than yourself because intelligent people know better. They have done the research, seen the facts and then formed an opinion. Not formed an opinion, learned a couple of facts and then say they have done the research and it concludes what they had preconceived.. It doesn’t, you are just wrong. For example, stronger regulations for people obtaining guns does not equate to ‘take guns away’. Sorry. Try google scholar searching background checks and gun regulations, find some peer reviewed articles detailing comparisons between countries with different regulations, maybe try looking into the correlation between mental health and violence, and just start from there, maybe? These searches may still lead you to your preconceived opinion, but at least then you might have a better understanding of the big picture and you will have actual research to back up your claims. Make sure to reference all of your sources so that others reading can then link to the articles you used and read them also. This would be a fantastic start to bettering your understanding on the topic, and how to actually research a topic. If you do this next time you come here, use that knowledge to comment and you will find you will get a real conversation/debate out of it. Or… or of course you could just spout more bs and call me some random name, that is always an option too I suppose lol. Best wishes if you do decide to study, however. It can be great fun broadening your mind and remember, you never know everything about anything; we are all learning every day! :)

    1. By “all weapons” I’m guessing you meant assault weapons… like in your link. No where in your “proof” does she state that she wanted to take away all weapons.

    2. That was a ban on *assault rifles*. NRA nuts always try to make it look like any gun control is a repeal of the 2nd amendment. SMH
