  3. Hi Jimmy, so I ran out of new progressive content to watch on YouTube. And, I made the mistake of watching the MAJORITY REPORT. Things were fine …. for a while.

    And then, Sam launched into a bit of a rant about you that included multiple media clips that he, uh, happened to have available. I’ve heard of “Viewer Envy” before, but this was just sad.

    Sam usually uses RUSSIAGATE and SETH RICH in his attacks, and then …. later, he does what many people do, which is to DISTORT WHAT THE OTHER PERSON ACTUALLY SAID into something that he can easily shoot down.

    Apparently, the choice in the 2016 General Election was between someone who would give us CONTAMINATED Water (Trump) and someone who would give us PURE, CLEAN, LIFE-SUSTAINING, JUST-DRIPPED-OFF-A-SWISS-GLACIER Water (Hillary).

    Hmmm? No, to be blunt, the choice was more like DO I VOTE FOR THE GUY WHO’S GONNA DROP 2 TURDS IN THE PUNCHBOWL, OR THE WOMAN WHO’S JUST GONNA DROP ONE.

    Well, the whole process just left a bad taste in my mouth.

    And, because of the leaked emails, Sam (and NeoLib Apologists like him) can’t deny that Hillary controlled the DNC long before she “won” the Primary. He just refuses to admit HOW she won the Primary.

    CHAIRS WERE THROWN! CHAIRS WERE THROWN! Yeah, no. NO Felicia, no chairs were thrown.

    Sam also refuses to admit just how nasty Hillary, her Troll Army, Tom Perez, and the DNC have been to progressives and to recent Democratic candidates that they can’t blackmail, control, and manipulate.

    And, I can’t help but notice that that condescending “We Own Your Vote!” message often comes from white neo liberals who have done fairly well under the fake 2 Party status quo. So, I genuinely wonder who they’re really worried about.

    These are the facts as I understand them: Hillary and her supporters used every dirty trick in the book to “win” the primary. Bill encouraged Trump to run in the first place because absolutely NO ONE expected him to win.

    Women who supported ANYONE other than Hillary were told that there was a “Special Place in Hell” for them. And, that they were only supporting Bernie because “that’s where the boys are.” Nice.

    And, any man who supported Bernie was accused of being SEXIST if he didn’t vote for REPTILICUS.

    Bernie supporters who went to the Democratic National Convention were treated like SHIT. They were locked out of the convention center. If they made it inside, they had their signs taken, their seats given away, and they were blocked by Hillary staffers using large banners and White Noise Machines and/or sound cannons.

    And, Obama has proven himself to be a complete fraud. He left the DNC bankrupt. And, he got Tom Perez to run in order to sabotage Keith Ellison. Then, Tom purged every progressive and Ellison supporter in the DNC that he could find.

    This happened as Hillary’s sycophants spread a malicious rumor that Bernie’s supporters were trying to get rid of 3 African-American women in the DNC. (YET ANOTHER LIE.)

    Somehow, MSNBC SAM manages to just not see any of this.

    The Democratic Party (of TODAY) exists solely to BLOCK the Great Unwashed Masses from ever making progress. And, …. (say it with me) that’s why they often have the SAME donors as the GOP.

    Recently, Michael Brooks made an off-handed comment which went something like: “I bet if Bernie wins the Primary in 2020, he’ll expect Hillary’s supporters to vote for him.”

    Well, a higher percentage of Bernie’s supporters voted for Hillary in 2016 than Hillary supporters did for Obama in 2008. So, what’s your point.

    Hillary lost mainly because of …. Hillary.

    She oozed the same condescending arrogance that her supporters do today. She dismissed Progressives, most minorities, and the Rust Belt. She only bothered to visit the Rust Belt when she had a self-serving book to sell.

    So, keep punching left. Keep punching down. See how that works out for you in 2020.

    And, at least be honest enough to admit that some of you (like Hillary) are CLOSET REPUBLICANS.

    Progressives will win. You will lose. Get over yourselves.

When you scream at the top of your lungs that there is NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL about Russia when it clearly meddles with US elections on a different level and when they try to hack the election stations and when the PRESIDENT clearly doesn’t care at all, because he likely has financial bonds there (which used to be a problem?), it’s more than irresponsible to scream that all Information related to Russia is fake. I agree that the angle that Mainstream News uses is problematic and that Democrats are also using this to not talk about their corruption. But do you have the intellectual capacity to understand that doesn’t mean there is NOTHING about Russia? You are doing nuance and honesty a disservice, Dore.

  7. however you want to dance around the issue doesn’t change the fact that cenk is using twitter to punch down on small voiced people with legitimate concerns and rallying others against them as well, treating TYT as some sort of untouchable juggernaut in the process. nothing about him doing that is actually progressive at all. i’d also suggest watching the included youtube video critique as well. regardless of his presumptions, he uses actual facts and perfectly sound reasoning to arrive at those presumptions. he’s not some conspiracy mongering crazy person and it’s gross that cenk is willing to blanket label anyone speaking out against actual problems with transparency at TYT in such a way.

But he appears to have sold out and become a caricature catering to the unhinged anti-hillary left (as opposed to the hinged anti-hillary left to which I call myself a member). Sam Seder ate Jimmy for lunch during their debate and has been proven nothing but right since then. And does Jimmy pause and consider whether his analysis was correct? Nope. He plods on with what he has found gets clicks and patreon donations. It reminds me of the repeated joke he has made in the past when they talk about selling out and he volunteers that he would sell out in a minute if someone would offer to pay him. Obviously a joke. But the fact is there are different ways to sell out, Jimmy. One is to abandon any attempt at quality analysis and just shovel what sells repeatedly. The clicks aren’t worth the destruction to your credibility.

  12. The first major segment of this show was cringy. AP covers Russia way too much. This show has really suffered with the firing of Jordan; instead of focusing on actual progressive issues based on reporting in the field, it focuses on how a losing Democratic establishment tries cringeworthy things to try to maintain power. I’d like to hear new truths we haven’t heard before, not overkill on a non-issue. Reminds me of something Steve yelled to Cenk, “You’re demagoguing the issue!” Instead, it took Malcolm to remind us of what the mission even is, getting healthcare for all.

    Half the comments here seem crazy. Seems like a huge die-hard fan base that seems too obsessed with sucking up to Jimmy than calling him out when he needs calling out. When Steve is on, you can see Jimmy real-time refine his points away from just overflowing anger, into pointed barbs.

    Really love the interviews. Love Jimmy, love Cenk. Wish Jimmy was on the main show more. His criticisms of TYT totally mirror what lots of members have been saying; too much meaningless Trump criticism and Russia hype, not enough substantial pushes for progressivism. It’s fine to report new details, but it doesn’t need to become a 20 min circle jerk about how bad Trump is.

        1. The title of the video is “Jimmy Dore No Longer Allowed on the TYT Live Show?” Jimmy himself debunked the idea that he was banned from the main show. Likely, Cenk, a busy guy, did not go out of his way to watch a video that is perpetuating misinformation in the title. I wouldn’t, and I didn’t. So sure, maybe in the full 20 minute video and in the rest of his videos, he is a true progressive with legitimate critiques. Something tells me Cenk is unaware of anything about the video except its title, and so he’s not using it as a prop to call all former members who criticize him fake progressives, and he’s not calling the guy a fake progressive for any legitimate arguments he may or may not have made. At worst, it comes down to Cenk being ignorant and perhaps overstepping, but really, it takes some serious mental gymnastics to twist it into “Cenk is calling anyone who criticizes TYT a fake progressive.”

  16. Thanks so much Malcolm for commemorating the Orangeburg Massacre. My mother was a student at Claflin College (now Claflin University) during that time and always told me of that frightening night! For us that were touched by this horrific night, we do remember this and it is etched in our hearts. The lives of the 3 young men who were killed (and Sellers who was wrongly prosecuted and charged) are always remembered. Thanks for the great work! Brava!

    Thanks Malcolm for bringing this case to light at the 50th anniversary of its occurrence. I’d never heard of this till your piece.

    What I do know is that South Carolina was the very first State to secede from the Union prior to the Civil War, and that former Governor Nikki Haley took that confederate flag down before she denounced Trump, afterwhich she supported him and ‘works’ at the UN in his name now.

    I also know how black people have always had a hard time getting health care without being tricked into becoming guinea pig experiments, and that many important movements like women’s rights or voting rights have left us out.

    What I haven’t realized until now is how tightly the issue of health care is tied to the black part of the Civil Rights Movement. Despite all that’s happened I failed to see this, partly because I thought any kind of health care initiative would get states like SC finding ways to exclude black people as they always have in the past.

    I’ve focused so long and hard on voting rights I missed all the undermining gerrymandering. And I’ve missed the Civil Rights – Health Care connection.

    But I haven’t missed Harry Belafonte’s point in his 2011 autobiography My Song, about MLK knowing of the two Kennedy brothers only Bobby had a soft spot for the poor and disadvantaged in America. Belafonte got to take the host’s desk at the Tonight Show for a week, and he interviewed Robert Kennedy at one point. He learned how serious Bobby was about joining MLK to create a federal level Bill for the Disadvantaged. Such a bill would’ve covered SO much for ALL of us. Bernie was around then, he knew as he knows now.

    We’ve got the stuck-up sister of the North Korean dictator which Russia supports, hanging around the South Korean Winter Olympics now with her ‘cheerleaders’ and ‘athletes’ that seem more intent on agitating / irritating than joining and competing. We’ve got a mendacious moron in the White House who wants the kind of military parade NK puts on instead of health care for our veterans as Stef says. That moron has the nuclear codes. Right now.

    Yes Russia, as Professor Cohen said last week, shouldn’t be blown into Stalinistic proportions but it is still a very serious national security issue. We can’t dismiss it.

    We can push for more evidence. We can include money laundering investigations. And we can INSIST on Medicare For All. Right in the middle of this Cold War 2 we can do this.

  28. So, yeah. After about five or six years of supporting TYT with my membership, I am done. I just cancelled my suscription a few hours ago and will now be giving 10$ directly to Jimmy and 5$ to Kyle.

    It’s too bad its come to this, but Cenk, Ana and John have led TYT on the wrong path with going right along the Russia psyop. Cenk refuses to even acknowledge that raising tensions with Russia could lead to WWIII (as seen in the Kyle/Cenk debate on Russia a few days ago). Not even to mention that Cenk has become completely obsessed with covering Trumps every fart and neglects a lot of important stories in lieu of that.

    That, coupled with TYT taking 20 million dollars from Wall Street and now censoring themselves and I don’t feel like I want to support this anymore. Maybe Cenk will come to his senses one day, but I doubt it at this point.

    Anyway, thanks to the people here in the comment section who fought the good fight against people who support the shift to the right TYT has experienced since Bernie was cheated out of winning the primary and push establishment narratives.

    A word to EuroYankee: I admire your willingness to stick it out and “fight from the inside”, but at this point I think it is a waste of time. It’s not as if anybody from the show but maybe Steve and at one time Wes has ever responded to our comments and us just in-fighting against Sec and gathly does nothing to sway anybody. My recommendation: Give your money directly to Jimmy and Kyle or somebody else of your choice. Money still talks the loudest and if TYT loses enough progressives, I don’t think they can get enough mainstream liberals to replace them.

But I am actually really surprised at all this. when I compare TYT to my more mainstream Democrat friends, TYT’s talk about Russia is very infrequent and less emotional. I understand Jimmy’s frustration, but there are hundreds of thousands of worse Americans than Cenk and Ana, try to remember their hearts are surely in the right place. We aren’t going to find a way to conquer this corrupt system by turning on our allies.

Both the group and the article you mention talks about DNC hacking, in mid-2014. It makes less than zero sense trying to sow mistrust in the US election by trying to pretend getting caught in attempted hacks a year and a half before even the primaries were on the national radar, instead of waiting till the heat of the elections to actually take effect. And if you want to get caught, having a rival spy agency do it is a bizarre and ridiculous way instead of leaving a standard digital footprint.

I assume you have read the reporting on it, Dutch officials have declined to comment on the specific incident (CBS). No corroboration from FBI either. It’s not rare for intelligence officials or politicians to publicly stand behind lies and claim evidence, here nobody has EVEN done that much. That’s how flaky this is, no matter how much you think of it as a perfect crime.

                      And that is kind of the twenty font condition of the anti Russiagate hysteria crowd, whether it’s Kulinski or Glenn Greenwald (who is an actual and competent jounalist, unlike any TYT host). Being uncompromising about evidence, since not being so has led to many casualities, loss of lives and permanently destabilized countries in the past. Given that history, not asking for names, accountability and clear evidence and going – “Aha ! Now they have evidence !” is careless and negligent on TYT’s part.     And now, both of you are attacking one another via your shows (and, it seems to be likely, behind the scenes), instead of discussing this in front of us. I hope that changes.

  49. Thanks to Stef for asking Amy Vilela about healthcare. The answer about improving Medicare was right on. While Medicare for all sounds great, it is not all that it is cracked up to be. I’m retired and on Medicare. Overall , I’m pretty healthy, but I still had over $9000 of out of pocket expenses, most of it for dentistry and eyecare. That’s right, Medicare does not cover dentistry; you can’t even get your eyes examined for glasses! Your government doesn’t give a shit if you starve to death because you can’t chew your food, or get run over by a bus because you can’t see where you are going.

    The only part of Medicare that everyone gets is hospital coverage. If you want to go to your own doctor, you need to pay for Medicare, Part B. That costs me about 10% of my monthly social security benefit which they take directly out of the payment. You want prescription drug coverage? You must buy separate insurance for that, too.

    I wonder how many of you folks reading this and watching this episode of AP could afford $9000 for your healthcare for the coming year? Everyone should be entitled to every kind of healthcare including dental and eyecare regardless of income, race, ethnicity, current health status, or state of residence.

    The way our goverment treats its citizens is a fucking disgrace; and as Jimmy always says, this happens in the richest country the face of the earth has ever seen!

    2. Thank you softrun, for enlightening people on current Medicare. It’s one of the best health care systems we have but it’s no panacea or anywhere near what I would envision as the single payer system we want. I’m also retired and “of an age.” I was able to elect to continue my employer’s health care system (I worked for the feds), which is cheaper and provides additional benefits compared to Medicare, in retirement. I am really lucky in that.

      I also want to note that Bernie’s MedicareForAll is a much better system than the current one and includes coverage for dental and vision issues and lower costs. We need a medicare that provides for all people in the country, citizens or not, and does not carry burdensome out of pocket costs to users.

      1. Thanks for your comments. My wife and I get a reduction on prescription drug coverage by continuing insurance from her former employer (a university). Unfortunately, it means we have to use Humana as our insurer even for care that would be covered under Medicare. And, because Humana is a private insurer we are subject to all the red tape and other delays for coverage. I had to have a CT scan last year; it took about 3 weeks to get it because the provider had to wait for Humana to ‘approve’ it. I can’t wait until we have a real leader like Bernie who will get all of us (I hope) truly affordable, quality healthcare.

If the Russia investigation could right what is going wrong in America, that would be another thing. I support DACA, but also know that Democrats are holding daca hostage to appear liberal and affective legislatively. What will the Russia investigation reveal about that $800.000.000.000 the pentagon lost. How about blanket Democratic support for Isreal, that’s new! How about the dems finding alternative legislation to combat these new policies that are unfolding: taxes, healthcare debacle, over enforcement of protest, gerrymandering in progressive districts, a living wage, a lack of school funding etc…. The solutions, while not obvious, are surely local. The division is real. You could blame Russia, but really, it’s poverty and the lack of solutions to said poverty that brings most to this narrative, on both sides.

  53. so this is coming from me as someone who’s been a staunch supporter of TYT, cenk, et al for quiet some time; i have multiple TYT shirts and i pay my membership annually. i’ve had various concerns here and there this past year about various goings-on and lack of transparency at TYT. but they’ve just been concerns that i brush away and leave on the backburner of my mind. fast forward to tonight, after having had dinner with an ex staff member and coming home to watch both this episode of AP and the cenk vs kyle debate posted recently on TYT interviews. as of this very moment i am, for the first time, starting to move those concerns off the back burner and into the forefront of my mind as they’re turning into serious, apparently legitimate concerns about the future direction of TYT as a whole. if those at the network who aren’t with jimmy and kyle on these issues don’t manage to wholly remove their heads from their asses, maybe i’ll start have to seriously asking myself why i maintain a membership when i really only watch this show on a regular basis, and what little other worthwhile content i can find i can simply continue to groom from youtube clips. that said, my membership is paid out til the end of the year so i’ll be keeping it – even if just for this show – for the foreseeable future. but i’ve suddenly hit a point where, as a progressive, as a free speech advocate, as a humanitarian who left the los angeles entertainment bubble early in my career, and fully understands why the rest of the country finds that bubble to be continually more and more disgusting – i am now beginning to honestly question why i’m supporting the full TYT network when this is the only show i watch anymore. i love this show. i love it so much that i wish someone would leak all the episodes to the public and broadcast it on every jumbotron across the nation. i do not love that it’s continually seeming apparent that TYT wants this content on its back burner, when it embodies every reason i once considered myself a member and watched the main broadcast every day, yet it’s now becoming a reminder of why i stopped subscribing to cable when i only ever watched one channel. this is an unfortunate turn for TYT. i hope someone can get ahold of the ship and point it in a better direction again. i hope more people at TYT start taking jimmy and kyle’s words to heart before he and others like him who are actually telling the truth and rightly championing george carlin’s 7 words leave the rest of them in the dust.

        1. I feel the same way, I’m not at the point where I’ll stop funding TYT with my membership but I am paying attention to the stories they tend to focus on the most. A few days ago both Cenk and Ana got pretty animated at some comment about how they focus too much on Trump. I tend to agree. Of course they need to report on Trump but too much of the show is becoming “Trump Hate”. Just yesterday Cenk said “Trump voters don’t read”. Like, I get it you are making it entertaining but you need to be careful about this rhetoric. You don’t recruit people by belittling their intelligence. This is the same complaint I had regarding Cenk’s debate with Shapiro. Even if Cenk was right on the facts, he came off like a pretentious asshole.

            1. i’ll preface this by saying that i’ve been working as a creative professional, consultant, and manager in various capacities since 2001. lately i’ve been really starting to feel like, if i could get a core group of people together dedicated enough to making it happen, i’d be inclined to have a go at starting a new progressive network myself based around a more progressive worker co-op model like what richard wolff advocates for. maybe it could balloon into other areas online as well in the future. who knows. i just know i couldn’t do it alone at the present time. but i also know too much of our news media and tech industry in this country has just gone off a cliff with blinders on years ago and seems just way too far gone, corrupted, and just plain stupid to save. i look at these issues surfacing within TYT recently as TYT simply dealing with its own struggles and identity-crisis as it tries to operate within an otherwise completely broken traditional capitalist business model. it ain’t sustainable. someone needs to do something better, if for no other reason than to show others like TYT that you can be truly full-on progressive and successful at the same time.

          Is there no amount of red flags that can pop up before you guys stop saying it’s just a red scare? It’s not baseless accusations designed to drum up war. Yes people can abuse it and fight for war, but that’s a separate issue than 8 countable times in which Trump just talks to the Russian Government and forgets to tell anyone about it, after a a campaign over several months in which dozens of meetings with Russians just happened to occur and no one could ever remember meeting with the Russians. Even though the Trump campaign was told point blank that Russians would be trying to get close to him. Even though Obama said what ever you do don’t hire Michael Flynn. Even though Page was bragging that he was working with the Russians.

We even just got new reporting today that there was an email sent as a note to file away about it, we know the Russians attempted to hack voting databases, we know they hacked the DNC and so the DNC had to wipe their servers, we know that Trump does things that doesn’t make sense unless he’s in league with the Russians, we know he doesn’t tell the press when he communicates iwth Russians on 8 separate times, and we can’t find any other country that happens with, we know that Trump would have gone bankrupt if not for Russian mobs buying rooms in his hotel, we know that Duvas and Russians were pinging a server that had little to no other traffic which seems incredibly suspect, we know that the Russians are giving money to groups like the NRA, that they fund the Trump golf courses, we know that Trump Tower Moscow is going to be bugged to hell, and we certainly know that golf has been on the decline for a while, but the Trump family has secured all the money they need because the Oligarchs “really like golf” even though Trump has screwed over money laundering Russian banks, and they still give him loans even though all the other banks of less dubious sources don’t loan him money because he screwed them over in the same way…

      But no empirical evidence I guess.

Cenk said himself “we’re capitalist here.” What I like about Jimmy Dore is that he advocates for the overthrow of capitalism. The way it was explained to me as how this hurts America is that let’s say there is a classified document gathered from North Korea that says Jimmy Dore likes to go into a basement and eat Nutella with a piece of celery and smear it on his nipples. The only person that knows this is his aunt who he told one drunken night. Unless there is a camera in the basement that is broadcasting to North Korea, the only way for that information to be in a North Korean document would be his aunt. So now we know there is a connection between Jimmy Dore, his aunt, and North Korea, and you can kinda triangulate sources if you know the right secrets, and you can figure out go-betweens to figure out who knows what, how, and from who.

      That’s why it harms our national security, because in order to show a clear context from the memo released you have to draw more lines, to give a wider context, and as you zoom out, get a chance to learn more of who are our moles in Russian Government.

      If you are just anti-spy that’s fine, I mean I’m not exactly ok with spys but I don’t know how you deal with espionage if you aren’t employing it because sometimes spying lets you know who a spy is in your midst. But at the end of the day that’s why all this information is so dangerous especially since Putin kills at the drop of a hat. He seems to have something like 80 bodies that are pretty much guaranteed to be linked directly to him because every time someone runs against him, or leads protests against them, they seem to get poisoned by radioactive materials including but not limited to I think polonium 210, or umbrellas that poke and inject something nefarious into you.

      So… I don’t know what to tell you man, it’s a bit more complicated than the Aggressive Progressives want to talk about.

        1. Well first of all the Nunes memo tries to pain the FISA documents as being started by the Dossier started by Hilary and the DNC. Which is incorrect. Fusion GPS started it long before they were involved. So right off the bat the memo is just lying. I’m not sure if Perkins Cole law firm was outed prior to this memo. I don’t remember having heard of it, and if that’s the case, then we don’t know the implications of outing Perkins Cole, same goes with Glenn Simpson.

          It lists Steels Termination as an FBI source based on leaking of classified ongoing investigative work. So let’s say I’m a North Korean hacker (examples), I now realize that if I can get a bit of classified information, and then make pretend that I’m an FBI source, I could plant fake evidence, and try to get a source removed, in order to retaliate against someone specifically, or maybe sow chaos in the investigation.

          I don’t know if that kind of information was well known before, but if I can figure out this new loophole I’m sure someone more nefarious could accomplish more. Get someone drunk, get them to spill some beans, use those beans to undermine an active investigation.

          “The Ohrs’ relationship with Steele and Fusion GPS was inexplicably concealed from the FISC.”

          Ohrs’ wife was working with Fusion GPS. We don’t know if this matters, again we don’t know exactly what was classified and what information is dangerous to our national security. That quote could be a nothing burger, or it could be a way to connect Ohrs’ family to spies and sources within Putin’s Russia. If we find out that someone connected to Ohrs’ or his wife dies from polonium 210 then that death could be a direct link to this memo being outed.

          It also incorrectly pretends that the Carter Page FISA warrant was only based on the Dossier when Carter Page is quite possibly a man that the FBI was concerned was going to work with Russia unwittingly, back in 2013 when spies attempted to recruit him. Also keep in mind that Obama had specifically warned Trump about certain people like Flynn and Trump utterly ignored these warnings and hired people that are basically going to get him locked up in jail forever.

          I think the major harm this does is that it pressures people to release the FISA warrant itself, in order to clarify, and there’s probably a lot of information we can’t have leaking out in the FISA courts. There should probably be a way to regularly release old FISA warrants, and put them in the sunlight, and start getting rid of FISA courts and find a better more transparent way of dealing with things, but fact of the matter is, how are you going to do that when you know that Republicans can’t be trusted what so ever with classified information.

          I know one concern is that the FBI is very much going to keep things closer to their chest now. They won’t be sharing as much information as they used to with members of congress because the trust has been broken at this point. So now the FBI is likely going to have less oversight, we’re not getting more oversight on the FISA warrants, so overall… Republicans have hurt our ability to at least have congressional members performing oversight duties. So that in and of itself makes us less safe.

          So we have a memo filled with lies and misinformation, that drops names of varying confidentiality, that ties together relationships that might not have been heavily publicized before, that discloses a way of discrediting an FBI source, that is basically undermined by its own admission that Carter Page was under investigation back in 2013, and then hypes up the Dossier, but since this memo basically just talks about a confidential document that probably shouldn’t be out in the public at this exact moment, we don’t have any evidence of the claims made in the memo, so we know of a bunch of lies, and absolutely know nothing about what statements are actually correct.

          So we have political grandstanding and nothing to stand on. I don’t know if this demonstrates harm in a way that you wanted me to explain. If it does not, then I’m sorry, but I don’t know enough to go any deeper into whether or not this memo undermines our national defense. I do agree we need to stop FISA courts, but that’s another discussion. If FISA courts didn’t exist I’m sure Carter Page would have still been tapped, and all of this would have played out, but they probably would have had to fill out 100 more forms, and spend an extra 300 man hours making the case for warranted surveillance.

          One day I’d like to use the disinfecting power of sunlight to kill the fungus infesting this dark corner of the government, but for now, we can’t just disregard what we know, even if we don’t like the methodology of how we know it.

      2. No, it is not complicated. The Democrats and liberals are deliberately re-inventing not just the 1950’s-era McCarthy Red Scare, but the Soviet Union itself.

        Paul Begala goes on CNN and says he thinks Trump should “blow up the KGB building in Moscow” because “we are at war.” Forget about the fact that the KGB hasn’t been around for 30 years.

        Donna Brazile and others are constantly referring to the Russians as “communists” and “soviets.”

        As you saw, Adam Schiff attacked Tucker Carlson by saying, “Ronald Reagan would be spinning in his grave”. Why? Because Tucker had become “soft on Communism”?

        Reagan fought the cold war against the Communist USSR and HE WON. We are not fighting the Commies. The “Empire of Evil” that Reagan opposed has not existed in decades.

        Yet – the Democrats keep using the old cold war rhetoric, phraseology and iconography in a way that would put the most hawkish Republican in the 1950’s to shame.

        THIS IS NOT AN ACCIDENT.

        Go watch Dr. Strangelove. And when Jack D. Ripper starts talking about how the Commies are polluting and infiltrating and perverting our “precious bodily fluids” just replace “precious bodily fluids” with “social media.” You will have something that sounds eerily similar to what the Democrats are raving about today.

We seem to only be able to find 1 government that Trump talks to that doesn’t get reported until after their state media reports it, which means that Russia is the only country we know of that Trump is talking to who he’s not admitting to talking to. We know that Trump has gone to Putin without a translator from the U.S. more than one occasion so not only do we not know what was said, we have no guarantee that the translator Putin had was working honestly , the Michael Wolfe book is kinda damning with quotes from Republicans, we know that Republicans are covering things up, we know that Paul Ryan said no leaks this is how we know we’re family when someone accused Trump of being on Russian payroll, we know that the Russians fully bug American buildings and we had to cancel a project because they kept bugging the rooms so Trump is going to stay in his own building filled with bugs any time he goes to Russia…

          At some point you can’t just say that there is no legitimate reason to be worried about Russia’s actions. You can’t just pretend that it is all hysteria with no basis what so ever. We can’t pretend that Putin isn’t a personally homicidal maniac that kills anyone who speaks out, or that Trump has any sort of healthy diplomatic relationship, or that Republicans aren’t complicit in things that should be making us quake in our boots. Releasing their memo and blocking the Democrat 10 page memo, is unconscionable. Firing to many people in the FBI while trying to fire Rose and Mueller, while using evidence that a guy who hated everyone, also hated Trump and worked on the investigation, who got fired right after his comments were made public while pretending that he tainted the WHOLE investigation even though Trump is surrounding himself with people who have been in the FBI’s sights for Russia for half a decade…

          I mean jeez man. Maybe it’s not as dire as I make it sound, but we shouldn’t be as aloof as you seem to be.

          1. You are stating a lot of conjecture and unproven assertions as fact. Just because President has private discussions with a leader is no reason to get your knickers in a twist. And as far as the social media activities and the invasion of the Bernie groups, that was all done by some very enterprising young Macedonians who were trying to drive traffic to their clients’s sites. The facts of the “Russian” activity on social media show that they had virtually 0 effect. Moreover, just because the ad buys and accounts originate in Russia doesn’t mean they all work for the Kremlin. Likewise, the Oligarchs that Trump dealt with in the past 0- and probably laundered money for – are not all minions of Vladimir Putin. He is not the omnipotent autocrat that people try to make him out to be.

            The Russians probed and monitored election officials and databases in many states, but I can guarantee you that they weren’t the only ones doing that. If you have an office network and you do not have a proper firewall and countermeasures in place, you are going to get hacked. I ran a small company with 6 employees and we were having our servers hacked and attacked constantly – from China, Russia, Eastern Europe and the US. Hacking is a fact of modern life. The Russians also hacked the US State Dept and WH – but if you think the Russians are the only ones doing that you are naive. What they are accused of is nothing compared to what countries like Israel do.

            I don’t think that Russia’s activities are worth freaking out over. What they are doing is not new, and it is by no means unique to Russia. It’s just that some people with a political agenda are intent on ginning up the Cold War again.

            We know from the book “Shattered” that the whole RussiaGate story was cooked up by Mook and Podesta on Election Night at the urging of a totally unhinged Hillary Clinton, who refused even then to take any responsibility for the loss. She wanted to be exonerated. She has blamed everyone else but Russia was the story that her campaign team decided to feed to the press. It was their way to make sure that no blame whatsoever was assessed or accepted; no post-mortem was done; no one was embarrassed, and everyone kept their job and their position. If you can name me one person who resigned or was fired as a result of the historic and dismal defeat, please tell me. I have not heard of one.

            Thought experiment: If Trump, or Jared, or Din Jr. or any of his inner circle – had travelled to Moscow and given a speech to a bunch of Kremlin bankers behind closed doors, and walked out with a cool $500,000 in their pocket – how do you think the press and the Democrats would react? And yet that is exactly what Bill Clinton did.

            Think about the sequence of the following things:

            – 2013 Obama announced that “the global War on Terror is over.”
            – 2014/2015 – rumours start to circulate about “Russian hacking”

If people do not want to watch you because they think you’re screaming at them then they can turn the volume down or choose not to watch you. If they feel that you are insulting them personally might I suggest they look in word at why they are taking it personally especially when you’re not talking specifically about them.         1. Preexisting Business Deals and Money Laundering.
        2. Russian Information Operations – bots everywhere last elections – so many fake social media stories – it affected me – I had to look up untold amount of fake news.
        3. Active Cyber Intrusions. – has not been proven but does not make it false. I would love to see what mueller and the dutch intel have on this.
        4. Russian Campaign Contacts – I lost count
        5. Obstruction of Justice – how can anyone not think he did this…… I would love to hear

What Russia wants to do is simple, they want sanctions removed, and they want to push the king of the hill off the hill. They want to make America and the western block of Europe weaker. They want to raise China and Russia’s influence, by driving division and malice in Western Democracies to the point that people just gloss over how someone else saying anti-Putin things just mysteriously died. They aren’t spending money on the NRA because they like Trump. They are doing it, because to Putin and his Kremlin goons, if they can get a bunch of gun nuts, and a bunch of counter protesters together, and someone throws a rock, and someone shoots a gun, and fighting breaks out around America like with the Valentine’s Day Massacre…. that’s what they want. They want tensions to keep rising. They want to do what Osama Bin Laden did. Tiny micro aggressions, and 1 big aggression, and then have us deplete our own capital and spend trillions of dollars until our economy crashes again with nothing to show for it.

            They are poking the sleeping giant and hope that we do something so crazy that they can use it against us.     6. It’s more than just the emails, it’s more than just the money laundering. Trump goes and talks to Putin without an official translator. So we have no idea what was being said, and we have no idea if Trump’s statements were translated correctly, or if Putin was saying “How easy this pathetic piece of orange shit is glad we cultivated this idiot to be President” and then the Translator says “Thank you for your help, you have many golf courses to look forward to building and we think we have a buyer for another one of your real estates! One of the expensive ones! Please look forward to it.”

      The only time we know when Trump is talking to the Russian Government is when the Russian T.V. channels report that the Kremlin talked with Trump. All the other countries we regularly get communication about when, who, and what the topic was for all their communication but when it comes to Russia… we don’t get a press release, we hear about it through RT.

      If there is no collusion Trump has a funny way of showing it by doing everything he possibly can to kick journalists out of rooms that Russians are in, inviting Russian spy’s in, having no oversight in his face to face conversations with Putin including no translator, no one has explained why the ONLY thing he cared about changing in the Republican Platform was a more pro-russian position on Ukraine and this was during the Primaries. It comes out of no where, people are like “What the hell?!” and why Trump wasn’t arrested back then I will never know. Well other than Obama being a weak piece of shit who was so enamored with having a lasting legacy, that he didn’t act upon reasonable intelligence, and whose legacy is being systematically erased by a cumberworld klazomaniac Hitler-in-chief.
