  1. Two thumbs up DR Abdul no matter what happens he will be back but vote for this guy but one thing gender or race should not matter no corporate pack money that should get your vote and speaks on policy

  2. My biggest concern is that the primary will be between an establishment candidate (who is a woman, thereby getting the vote of those who will only vote based on the gender of the candidate), and two non-establishment ones, which might split the progressive vote. I will personally vote for Abdul, but he can only win if voters are properly informed about the candidates and where they get their funding.

    1. This was my concern as well. After looking and listening to both Shri Thanedar and Abdul El-Sayed, it is clear that he is the more sincere of the two. I hope that we can get the word out to most people that, as far as progressive candidates go, El-Sayed is more qualified, seems more dedicated, and more honest.

I don’t claim to know Thanedar’s thoughts, but something about him makes me uneasy, and it isn’t his money. He doesn’t have any experience working for the public, and seems to be more self-involved, and those are just the things I’ve been able to articulate.

I would generally go for the less religious of given a choice between 2 candidates with this platform, all things being equal. But they aren’t equal when my gut is telling me something is off with Thanedar. So I’m backing Abdul all the way.

      1. Completely agree. As I go on I land in El_Sayed’s camp mainly because of his experience but also because he has picked and articulated clearly the issues he’s hoping to tackle in Michigan. The Auto Insurance issue is a HUGE one and smart to think about in the grand scheme of getting Michiganders quality and COST of living better. He has a clear stance on keeping recreational cannabis in the hands of independent business and has an outline for HOW to change environmental policy. We need vote-by-mail in MI so badly.
