  2. Wow, I must have really hit a nerve. I will not apologize for pointing out that women make up less than 10% of all Old School participants. This is not about meritocracy, it is about pre-selection biases. I am a man and can nonetheless think beyond the pale. Your putatively eloquent remarks, ostentatious pompous word choice, and arrogant tone will not change that. (P.S. If I ever need have wondered what a genuine douchebag sounds like, you have solved my dilemma.)

  7. Real egalitarian feminism is absolutely necessary. Fake ideological authoritarian activism & artificial quota controls for propaganda purposes, ignoring all existing conditions infavor of overwriting & top-down manipulations may be central to the Intersectional type but that is in no way Old School & it only steals the liberty of people to be who they are, whether you like it or not, in favor of conformity to a message that is alien to the thing you have decided must be a microphone for your anti-empirical activism.

  8. Old School remaining Old School, instead of conforming to an artificial quota of how many women to men you would prescribe by force, if you could (& you can’t because you don’t get to redefine & remake it according to your will) is the situation.

    You can imagine & accuse falsely of sexism, according to your doctrinal Intersectional agenda, but older classical members that came together based on natural liberal merit-based & random circumstances (instead of central planning mandate that pretends choice doesn’t exist & only evil sexist oppression can possibly explain the maleness) is the reality of Old School, not your fantasy prescriptions.

    It’s not yours. It’s not male or female. It’s not activism. It’s not an outpost of Intersectional feminism. It’s not your tool to express your ideology or your standards of political correctness. It hurts nobody by being what it is without your fake would-be forced changes.

    Arguably Ana has been around long enough to be on & has been. Does she want more work & less relaxation at home to maintain balance? Probably not. Is that patriarchal sexist tragedy? Absolutely not.

    No. The answer, whether you hear it from Cenk himself (or everyone else at TYT who aren’t possessed by the delusion that all deviations from 50/50 are evil sexist oppressive abominations to be removed from the Earth by your conformist collectivist attempt to annex & transform & martial as an additional tentacle of cultural propaganda) or not is no. You may not take it & make it yours for your purposes.

    Go ahead & get angry or cry. Your opinions & fake outrage don’t have the power to take over & make unsupportable claims against all reason.

    Bother to make something of your own, if you want to influence culture, as is your right & call it New School or something, if you want. But you can keep your ignorant controlling conformist hands off Old School. Because it isn’t sexist by your decree & it doesn’t have to be another media machine of your remaking. In fact it won’t be.

  9. I love Old School and listen to it regularly. Still, it strikes me that women seem to be underrepresented. I have no idea how you decide who will be on during Old School and if there are scheduling conflicts but it might be worth to examine whether there are underlying biases. We wouldn’t want anyone to think that this is primarily a men’s club!

    2. Agreed. I love old school- I think it provides a unique (aged) view on current issues. For realz though, TYT, make it 50/50ish. Put women in Old School.

Cenk’s awesome. & You’re all wrong that rooting for anyone of a certain skin color or Race is not Racist & can’t be because propagandist Far-Left postmodern activists redefined Racism in order to manipulate with power politics academic circles through the subsect of feminism called Intersectional, which advocates directly for Racism against anyone of a group deemed more oppressed in a given situation. This discards ACTUAL liberalism, which is equality under the law & equality of opportunity NOT authoritarian pogrom towards equality of outcome, which can be used, among other methods, to steal whole industries & orchestrate top-down central planning to overrule & destroy democracy in order to force social change against the will of the people under the assumption that these people not only know better but that they should save the stupid bad unwashed from themselves. Many, if not most of these people, are anti-cap & would discard a mixed economy in favor of what has almost always resulted in famine or total destruction of Nations

  15. Great Old School. I got to say I think Trump will make through his term. He will get slaughtered in 2020 against anybody (even an establishment Dem) but I don’t see him going before then. The investigation will damage him but I don’t think anything fatal will come out of it.

  28. I picked up a subscription not to long ago, a friend constantly told me I’d love the show and she was right. You guys are hilarious and informed. Can’t wait for the 40s taste test!

  29. No more fleischner please. Just let em ruin Friday post game with boring koller and try having guests like Emma or Ana or Hasan. Just make it interesting. Noone ever cared about Malcolm and Dave’s ability of spell check and noone ever will. God!
