  1. Oh yeah, I like the maps. Having the Net at our fingertips doesn’t take the laziness out of people or all of us would be a version of Sheldon Cooper. Maps with highlights burn brilliance into the brain. I’m for keeping ’em on Weekly Whirled News.

And could we get a guest star or two on to play? Like Alonzo Bodden or Kyle Kulinsky? It’d be fun to have Cenk up there too. If any Justice Democrat candidates or Wolf-Pac members would be willing to risk doing a ‘Gary Johnson’ over some questions and come on that’d be great.

  2. Well here it is January 4th 2018 already.

Did you among the Coveted Nineteen and the Three Amigos have a good New Year? Don’t know about you guys but I was EXHAUSTED. I think I conked out in the middle of trying to see if this Friday Post Game got posted yet. I’m telling you the last two years have been THE most angering. frustrating experience I’ve ever had in my life. Still cannot BELIEVE how many Democrats are the same as Republicans in allowing Trump & co in with that Hillary false choice, then professing to be appalled while leaving him in to get their way. Now we’re facing a Verizon controlled Internet and a threat to We The People’s true Library of Alexandria, as well as a threat to democracy in the US and around the world. Who can stand up to what China does with a stupidy-stupid POTUS like this?

Japan mainstream news is reporting good economic growth in the US with salaries on the rise. WHERE? Their beloved Wall Street? They’ve done nothing but cover up how awful Trump & co have been. Big shots over here are quietly thrilled about their US friends’ huge tax cuts, the Nikkei index went up over 700 points up after reopening today following the New Year holidays. They could care less about the huge numbers of people that can’t make ends meet over here too.

So the fight continues, I ain’t about to give up. Hoping this Michael Wolff book helps us blow this shit up in our favor.

Speaking of books, are we doing the book club up in here? I got the book by Masaji Ishikawa, it’s a low-priced fast read and it’s still free on Amazon Prime.

  3. Do not listen to these ridiculous people, Malcolm, we do NOT need the maps. We should be capable of looking it up on our own if we need or want to. My god, how lazy are people! This information is literally at our fingertips now. Sometimes I get discouraged!

I loved the story about the fighting festival. What I like about it is it is a way to keep aggression and violence in check. It creates rule and order around fighting instead of letting it get out of hand. I guess in our culture we have football and other sports ball games but this is a little different since everyone can participate in the physical aspect of it.

So I’ve listened to Matt on OS and Friday PG this week and I’ve got to say, please do not have him back to either of my two favorite TYT shows. His casual misogyny disgusts me.

  4. Ha, got blocked on one of TYT’s Youtube videos comment section, from making a second comment. So, the comment is reproduced, here:

Almost forgot to mention, now that we’re at the end of the year,

Changing Arthur C. Clark’s original quote, and applying it to Ana –

Any sufficiently extreme beauty and decency, is indistinguishable from goddhesshood.

Have a good year, Ana (you’re the best, kid), Michael, Jimmy, Hannah, Dave, Cenk, Malcolm, Steve Oh, and the rest (And Grace; where the heck did that darling person disappear to?) For better or worse, 2018 is going to be markedly different, from any other time. Brace.

  5. I vote to keep the country images

Oh, and it looks like Nerd Alert snatched the “last thing published by TYT in 2017” away from you

  6. Thank you Steve and Malcolm for giving all nineteen of us two of the Three Amigos to see the old year out, and thank you Matt for all the great pinch-hitting you’ve been doing at TYT during vacation season.

Happy New Year to one and all

  7. Dude!!! I am American born, American educated. Without the maps how could I tell that Denmark is between Peru and Botswana?

  8. Hoping this suggestion is read! When TYT shows a video clip or image, please consider making the content larger and the surrounding TYT frame smaller. I typically watch on my phone, as I’m sure many others do, and it would be much easier to see if the frame was at least 50% smaller.
Thanks so much for all you do! Love TYT!!

  9. DO the maps! borders, neighbors, bodies of water, natural barriers (mountain/desert), etc. are all very good context to provide to someone who wants to understand the politics

  10. Can someone from TYT tell me what song you play when they are coming up with their answers for WWN? It’s the catchy jazz organ tune that always makes me play air drum brushes. And I do play the drums so it’s somewhat accurate.

  11. I LOVE TYT & Friday Post Game BUT!
You bitch how low the pay is at TYT, YET! A weekend fling in SanFran? I’m here thinking, so I should raise prices for customers, so I can be ‘normal’ & have enough $ to have a vacation? Boo Hoo Steve O. & tell Cenk Too!
I Love you guys, but the struggle is REAL For Most of us! Remember that! Enjoy San Francisco.
