Yeah, surprise, surprise (well not really) Apple has always pretended to be progressive and cool on the outside, but you don’t have to peel the onion too much to find out that they’re one of the most unethical companies in history. Let’s just highlight 3 recent problems with Apple:
1. Support of the Trump Tax plan. (Including Apple lying about bringing $150 Billion back to the US)
2. Foxconn = Apple (suicides, suicide nets, horrible working conditions, child labor, etc.)
3. Your iPhone Story (Throttling is equivalent to the fascist stuff the FCC is doing with repealing net-neutrality) Apple’s excuse for slowing down their phones, and their policy of having non-user replaceable batteries, sounds like something I’d expect to hear out of Ajit Pai
Again, no one really needs to put up with Apple. Linux (especially Ubuntu has been ready for prime time for over a decade now, is free, Open Source, and virtually guilt free. Linux now has about the same user percentage as CrApple 9.2 vs. 9.57 percent of computers).
4. Apple parts, since they switched to Intel, are pretty much the same parts you can get in any other PC. They’re just a pain in the ass to get and cost more for no good reason.
