Hey, why not? Since we’re giving opinions about favourite hosts: I prefer Micheal Shure, John Iadarola and Ben Mankiewicz. I don’t mind Cenk, but I prefer when he’s with those hosts, because I feel like he can be overbearing with his opinions, but he’s more respectful with those three.
My favourite sometimes-ers are Desi Doyen and Kim Horcher. That said, it was Jimmy Dore who persuaded me on a few issues which I was on-the-fence about, many years ago, and I also really appreciate Jayar Jackson’s commentary whenever he can chime in.
Still, though, I think TYT’s science reporting is severely lacking in science literacy and I wish they would consider, at the very least, finding a few reliable researchers at various Universities to use as consultants for stories. They can really run face-first into the brick wall of pseudo-science. It’s really really disheartening.
Hes funnier and dont get me wrong bc i love Ana and i generally like to hear her in the post game but sometimes, the “my career!?” thing sometimes rubs me wrong bc she does it so often
I also watch it for the news and don’t think it’s a competition on who the greatest anchor is…

I tend to disagree and dislike the way that Anna says things quite often. I’m not a huge fan of prissy…
If I had my way it would be John, Grace and Cenk always. Those are my favorite shows.
Haha Ana you are beyond ridiculous. John Oliver is not “incredibly progressive”. Someone who is doesn’t shame Susan Sarandon over and over again for voting for Stein. He leans progressively but will go for a corporatist EVERY time. He even kept saying Bernie had no chance throughout the entire primary process. He was no better than CNN or MSNBC. I think the stress in the last yr has caught up with you. Please take another vacation.
I primarily watch for cenk. But I agree that the show is better with a second host.

Haven’t watched that ass since he attacked Jill Stein for wanting to bail out students in the exact same way the government bailed out the banks.
That “Oh Dustin” reaction was the same sinking reaction I had. The “pissed me off” reaction was shockingly good; it’s something people have been yearning to say for ages but haven’t in the name of reconciliation. I’m glad someone said it.
I watch this show more for Ana than Cenk, and giving her a measly 27-minute “second hour” so that Cenk can jack himself off for twice as long is not something I want to pay to see.
Agree to disagree; I watch it for Cenk myself; if you don’t see that Cenk is the engine that drives TYT, you are not very perceptive.
I disagree, 20 minutes of Ana is more than enough.
I watch for the news coverage and to support progressive independent media, not because someone is or isn’t hosting. This isn’t “Americas Next Top Anchor.” Although to be fair I do tend to like it a little more when Cenk is hosting/co-hosting but I also miss Ana if she’s been gone for awhile.
Ana certainly has her moments but I watch TYT to see Cenk, and John is a better co-host anyway.
I’m curious, what is it about John that you thinks make him a better co-host than Ana?

The first hour was unusually long. It comes out to 1:40.
I used to own a 25th anniversary vhs tape of the Graduate that had a long interview with Dustin Hoffman at the end as a bonus feature. I remember him talking about how he pinched Katherine Ross on the ass and she got really pissed at him. I haven’t checked to see if the interview is posted on YouTube.

Yes the culture was different at that time, sort of. It was very destructive and painful to be subjected to sexual abuse in the workplace. Notice though that in Alabama the woman are generally misbelieved , blamed and attacked by Moore supporters. Even teenagers are viewed as demon infused aggressors that are dangerous to adult men in positions of power. Notice though Donald Trump was elected even though he admitted assault. Their abuse of their accusers is the same as in 1968 and 78, and 88 and 98 and 2008 now ready for 2018. In middle America any woman who makes these accusations of their boss is still in grave danger.
