Late to the party but I feel you, John. It’s so… hopeless and it sucks to feel that way. Mad, depressed, stressed, all of it at once.
Our country has two things facing us.
1: We get another conservative that is just not “as” nuts as Trump because he has pushed the line so far right that we are in for an insane wave of red because it’s better (btw this is what I think will happen)
2: We do have a blue wave but discourse in our country has been permanently changed for the worse making every issue something 10 times harder to discuss/make laws on as a result
There is no good outcome from this. This is why even though I still blame Hillary for her own loss I still get pissed as “progressives” that talked about her being worse than Trump. As a country, we do not bounce back from this. Not quickly, not slowly, not ever.
well if our Democratic Republic was BASED on Genocide of Natives and African slaves so where were we EVER good?! during the 70s-90s Americans funded Terrorist groups and aid Foreign Govts to Cleanse minorities in Africa/Asia soo WE NEED TO understand Foundation of United States was BROKEN from its inception. We need to ask what is our REAL unifying foundation of United States.

Correction: The guy destroying the Virgin Mary statue was not part of a group funded by the US, he was an Al-Qaeda member and that same year the video was shot, probably even before the video was shot, he defected to ISIS. Now that guy is in custody guess by whom? FSA groups funded, or used to be funded since the US cut all funds last year and he is notorious for crime even again AQ buddies who refused to join ISIS.

I am so discouraged with the direction my country is going, TYT makes me feel there may still be hope, you guys are great. This week has been even better, I haven’t heard anyone complain that they shouldn’t be in this business because they would be a great interior decorator, or inform us what lovely legs they have.
The DNC has already doomed the Democratic party with their unwillingness to change even ONE tiny thing in their primary process or electing a candidate or moving forward with a more progressive attack that the country is clearly hungry for.
Clintoncrats will continue to believe that being MORE corporate & conservative will result in electoral wins.
Just as Republicans continue to trot out “Tinkle-On” economics as the way to “create jobs”, blah, blah,blah.

Please help us fight Theresa May. With a UK show or UK based segment please and help for groups like momentum please Cenk and all of TYT. As you said shes the devil you know and you can fight that we need help. I love the show I have been a member of TYT for 6 months now amazing work thank you but some more EU or UK based news would be amazing and I know you would get so many more followers and members from that there is a mass need for a news show that tells truth to the people .The way thing are going in the UK we will not have an NHS in a few years also over 120000 people have died due to the Tory cuts to the poorest like myself. I have an autistic son I love him with all my heart and will do anything for him He is my world but help for children with disabilities and mental health are cut to the bone please TYT help

John, I’m with you on the frustration surrounding the systemic normalization of anti-intellectualism. I fight absolute rage when reading and hearing the constant dis/misinformation and blatant lack of facts pouring from people in leadership roles and they go unchecked. Then you have the base parroting the BS!

Here in the UK Anne Coulter has been given major platforms on flagship news programmes on both the BBC and Channel 4 to defend Trump (again!). I despair of the UK MSM as much as the US MSM.
Keep being awesome and know that it’s not just Americans who value the work you all do.
Nothing the gov. does is a suprise. This country was founded on a dichotomy…us vs. them is the American way! It’s common day him Crowe law…except the difference is that it doesnt just apply to black people. Make you wonder, if politicians had to wear their donors like race car driver how plastered would they be. We have only 1 party g.o.p…greed over people

His promotion of ‘Britain First’ will help the group and result in more division in UK society.
