Okay so I don’t know if this has ever been suggested before (I don’t even know if I have ever suggested it before, but I have thought about it for a really long time) but have you guys ever considered doing a TYT cookbook as a fundraiser? I want Cenk’s mother’s turkey recipe, I want Ana’s Armenian recipes and Christian’s Cuban recipes and all the other delicious things that ate constantly featured in postgames. The recipe for Cenk’s best grilled cheese ever and the one that Brett liked but mad him sick but in the end he still liked lol. I’d seriously pay for that book and I’m in England so I’d even pay to have it shipped!
We were having a discussion about Jordan on the private facebook page for members and then TYT literally closed the group. Saying some garbage that they are “consolidating member activities”. This is like 1984, when they would wipe out parts of history, first we had WesClarke, then Michael Woods, now Jordan. And NOT A SINGLE DAMN sentence about them?!?!! Have some respect for your members! At least say a damn word about them.
I agree with the what seems to be a majority belief…you must give us an explanation (and a damn good one) for why you fired Jordan. I hate to sound melodramatic but I will be cancelling my sub if there isn’t a sufficient explanation as to why Jordan was fired.

I am extremely disappointed in the manner in which this appears to have been handled. If I am not satisfied with the explanation I will cancel my membership and no longer support TYT in any manner.

I have to agree, as a long time TYT member this is shocking. I get that they can’t talk about from an HR standpoint or privacy concerns. But saying something. We hear over and over how it was the TYT Army that hired Jordan so how come, at least in a member video, get some response.
My feeling know is that it was a knee jerk reaction because of all the other sexual assault/misconduct cases going on. I almost feel that if this happened a month earlier he wouldn’t have been fired.
Why the knee-jerk reaction. I’m pretty sure if one of you collegue had behaved innapropriately and sexually harassed you’d appreciate that the issue was promptly dealth with. The fact this could’t have happened a couple months ago is a GOOD thing. Come on you really think they wuold have fired him right away if they didn’t think they could have solved this? Jordan was a big part of the journalism drive and firing him was obviously not an easy friday afternoon ” fuck it this might damage us let’s not take any chance whatsoever”.

Are there pickles in Turkey?! Come on! Turkey is a pickle paradise and they are 10x better than the sweet crap you have in the states.
Also, that macaroni cheese thing you have describes is neither a borek nor Turkish by any stretch. Borek is made of layers of dough, there can be feta in the middle, which is common but no pasta products.
The mayo salad sounds like the Russian Salad they make in Turkey.
The best Thanksgivings I have had have been in the last few years. Just spending time with my significant other and one or two others – none of us working or doing anything besides eating, watching football, playing video games, and taking the occasional walk in the crisp autumn air. I remember the old days of extended family get together chaos and, although I do have some fond memories from when I was young, now that I am grown, I truly do not miss it at all.
Sweet relish is disgusting… Dill relish I have introduced to many, many people and they LOVED it. Vlassic started it in my area, and now Kroger has their own off-brand of it too.

Sadly, technology has never been TYTs strong point. I’ve offered repeatedly to help them (for free) but I never get a response.
