    so the issue would be that WE ARE A NATION BASED ON GENOCIDE!!!!! If we can’t even reflect on our Inequality/Inequity to Native Americas Tribes and Territories of U.S. then its ONLY NATURAL to see Majority of Americans r supportive of Mass Shootings being part of the American Dream like how The Wild West was EVERY White Boy’s American Dream to imagine……which also promoted GENOCIDE of Native Americas Tribes…..These r AMERICANS VALUES and ONLY CITIZENS WILLING TO discard the American Dream to REFORM our Laws at Federal Level should be outRAGED!!?!??? If u believe in American Dream then American Exceptionalism is part of the PACKAGE!! dont complain about ur Values…… I can because I WANT TO DISCARD THOSE VALUES!?!?

  3. Couldn’t agree more remy2k. Its not the “right wing” or the “gun lobby” that protects our 2nd amendment, its common sense people. Gun control is a loser politically. Its not progressive. The problem is exaggerated by the media. Most people have never even heard a gunshot fired in anger. Cops kill more people than “mass shooters”. Worst of all, people who know the least about firearms are the most vocal against them. I will keep the few rights i have left thank you.

    Look, don’t you see? Our government is run by an oligarchy, an oligarchy of wealthy elites that want nothing more than to subjugate the populace under their control. Wake up! They would enslave us if ever given the chance. We are too many for them to overpower…why? Because we have guns.

    The 2nd amendment was written so that we (the people) could be prepared to defend ourselves against any threat…foreign or DOMESTIC!

    Right now, you’re probably thinking that I’m some right-wing gun nut, but I’m actually a stout progressive. Medicare for all, money out of politics, a green “new deal”, non-interventionism…and on and on. These things I side, with all my heart.

    Please don’t ever forget that we are in a war for the ideology of America. This war is not left vs. right, but rather…the “haves” vs the “have nots”.

    Do you really think if we start handing over our guns to the oligarchy that they’ll give their guns up as well? No, of course not. We would be left absolutely defenseless, and as we’ve seen, when the U.S. government sees a people that are defenseless…they invade. Libya strike any bells?

David Shulkin, trumps VA secretary for the VA said the veteran was a criminal and did not deserve help from the VA mental help after he was discharged with a dishonorable discharge w/o specifying whether the shooter became this way due to military service. Our country tells our soldiers that it is ok to do these acts to Muslims in the middle east, but don’t give a shit about helping them transition back to civilian life.

  11. I truly appreciated John’s anger during the first part of the show, as he vented a lot of the frustration and rage i was feeling at such a senseless massacre.

  13. While I’m far from perfect, it isn’t a one time thing and if this is supposed to be a business, it needs to treat its paying members better. That’s the whole point. If you were paying me money for services and I fuck up, then an explanation and better business practice must follow.

I would say something more about having to watch the shitty cut up you-tube clips of the main-show that what wasn’t put up for paying members for over 15 hours that anyone who doesn’t pay each month can watch, yet I get to feel like an arsehole because I pay and nobody at TYT must not really care that they never even give us an eta or a reason why the hours are up but hey they don’t care and won’t bother responding to this or all the other members just trying to find out what’s happening.

    1. That is what pisses me off. They clearly don’t read any of these comments. I just wish they’d make a quick post saying it is delayed and they are working on it. They really don’t seem to care. Maybe if we were on youtube super chat they’d listen.

  15. I understand John’s frustration, and perhaps it’s good to find someone getting upset, but after a while it should be toned down. After all, it is highly likely that you are preaching to the choir here, and we are just as upset as you are. What I wouldn’t give to get one of these NRA spokesmen into a studio with an Internet stream. Someone DOES need to get in their faces and get them off their talking points. One such spokesman was on The 1A (WAMU) this morning, but he didn’t get pinned down. I can think of any number of good arguments that would in short order make the hypocrisy of these folks painfully apparent, but at 70 YO I’m not likely to get to be an interviewer any time soon.

    1. Not necessarily: I patiently waited until Monday morning hoping that the 3-hour special content would be uploaded, giving them the benefit of the doubt : hey – they’re busy. Then I e-mailed to TYT asking that they please make it available to their members. That’s not up yet and it was last Thursday. You’d think they’d want to get their Justice Democrats the most exposure possible: I don’t know half of them yet. At this point, I don’t ever think I’m going to see that content.

When I’m working my shitty job listening to TYT is the highlight of my night. I pay so I’m upset when it’s nowhere to be found.

  28. Someone needs to look into the people who are making money off guns and lobby the gov for loose gun regulations. Then all of their assets should be listed along with a list of the victims of mass shootings. We need to be asking if all these deaths are worth it to make these people rich?

  32. There needs to be a better method for communication to members and members to staff. Upload of yesterday’s show super late is unacceptable and should be somehow indicated or explained. Made me want to cancel membership.
