Irma, Sophie, & Gigi on a ladies edition of this Friday’s Post Game since the usual 3 amigos are away handling TYT business (or that’s what they want us to think). Gigi blabbers on what she was up to during her 2 month hiatus from TYT. Sophie shares updates on the new edition to her family. The trio play Irma’s special Halloween themed trivia game that’ll put Malcolm’s Weekly Whirled News to shame.

  1. 1) an earlier question identified the fear of Halloween as “Samhaimophobia,” and there was much discussion among the three participants about what a weird word that was to describe fear of Halloween.

    2) a couple minutes later, a question asked what was the origin of the word Halloween… one of the 4 choices was “Samhaim”… and NOT ONE of these ladies was capable of connecting the dots.

    Not saying.
    Just saying.

  2. I’m 3/4 through this episode, but I’m cringing with the vibe. All the cutesy stuff just grates on me. Most (not all) post games have at least some substantial inform to them, but this one felt like I was hanging out at my little sister’s sleepover.

    Ugh!

    I’m really paying for this?

    1. No. You’re paying to support the channel overall. You get this, and other things, as a bonus. You don’t have to watch everything TYT puts out, I certainly don’t.

        These post games are such a mixed bag, though.

        I still (and probably always will) support TYT.

  4. I enjoyed the post overall, but I do have a few thoughts…

    – How did you guys not get Samhain, after just learning about Samhainophobia? One and One, people! Anyway, it’s said “Sow-win.” Gaelic will turn you inside-out.
    – Sophie should promote her corgi as Waffles the Blue-Eyed Corgi. I’m not personally into blue eyes, but if it’s rare, it’s gonna go vogue one day. Probably after the next Snow Dogs movie. Get in front of this.
    – Gigi, I would like those ancient Armenian Christian names, please.
    – Irma, seriously learn how to read words out loud, or never do it again. There’s no excuse for that. You brought literal-not-figurative pain to the back of my neck. You were worse than Chelsea Handler and Al Sharpton reading over each other. I do like your voice, though. I didn’t want it to be all bad.

    1. Totally agree about the observation regarding Irma, every time she appears on camera and reads anything it gets either gets totally mangled, words added, words removed, etc., though it was funny hearing her say “when families fondle, remember the deceased”. You can hear Sophie and Gigi hearing the mistake but saying nothing, but I think that someone should bring it to Gigi’s attention that it could indicate some form of dyslexia or other condition that affects reading ability.

      1. Yeah, I mean, these were her own questions. There shouldn’t have been anything surprising in there, even ignoring all the big words. Cenk would certainly mangle those. If it’s a condition, it would really be interesting to hear…hell, anyone talk about it somewhere. Doesn’t have to be Irma, or even TYT.

  9. Gigi’s going as a Geisha? Cause she still has the kimono and is over the cultural appropriation issue?
    thats my only guess. sorry about the geisha bit . i dont mean in a bad a way.

  10. “dedicate my baby” – Irma – are you Pentecostal, Baptist?? Cause I have never heard of any other denominations doing that – most babies are “christened”. I am a former Pentecostal – atheist now

  12. Well, that is time I will never get back. Did anyone prepare for this Post Game. The travel pictures were beautiful and interesting but the commentary lacked focus and clarity. You couldn’t remember the name of probably the most iconic building in whatever country you finally decided you were visiting? Irma – either learn to read your quiz questions and answers or please do not do another quiz. You are not in your living room where stumbling over every other word might be funny and entertaining, You are on an internet program that people actually pay to watch. The quiz graphics and sound effects, on the other hand, were very well done. Even as critical as I can be, I can not find fault with Waffles. What a cutie pie. Her little face saved the show.

  13. This was fun. And we definitely noticed when you were gone, Gigi. The horrors. It was a dark time for all of us members, but we don’t like to talk about it. It’s all still too fresh in our minds.

    And, since I’m the cat expert, I will once again point out that cats are just as social as dogs. They need just as much time with their humans as dogs, especially under the age of 5. When they get over about 10 years (they are living healthier, longer lives now, so they live into their 20s if they are healthy at birth and taken care of), they will start sleeping more, and that’s the only time it’s appropriate to leave them alone for a max of 10 hours a day.

    When people say they don’t like cats, it tells me that they are ignorant on the subject. No one can know everything, but why close your mind like that? I won’t go into the whole thing since you didn’t say that. But we do notice. There is a cat-defending contingent who do get upset when you guys are down on cats, so maybe think about that? Just a thought.

    I know this may not be some of your cups of tea, but hopefully the rest of your enjoyed this lady post game! If anyone is interested in a guide on how to travel bougie on a budget or tips on how to save up, I would love to put together a list of “travel tips” and what not for the next time I’m on FPG (If Malcolm ever allows me to return)

    4. “Christening” (pronounced kris-uh-ning, kris-ning) is the ceremony wherein babies/children are baptized into the Christian faith.

      There is no such thing as being “Chris-tianed.”
