  1. The he hates People so much he can join our hate group. LMAO…

Those guys will say anything. Thier in a trance.

  2. 20 million doses to West Virginia equals 10.93 doses for each citizen of the state, I find it impossible to believe that no one thought this was a problem

  3. This is going to sound petty and sexist, but let me preface this by saying it isn’t criticism, just a heads up. I am no doubt partially to blame in this case, no one else commented on it, but every time Ana got animated you could see where he breasts were swaying below that pretty outfit with a bra to restrain them. For me at least, it made it damned hard to concentrate on what she was saying.

This is the first and only time I’ve had this type of trouble watching Ana commentate. SHE was as professional as ever, but if there were sweeps weeks on the net I’d have to wonder. It was unconscious I’m sure and exacerbated by her animation, her passion, but dear god was it distracting.

  4. Trump and Weinstein were buddies…Trump did a cameo on a Miramax movie in the mid 90’s, and then a plug for it on Letterman. He also, let the folks who watched it air that evening (and since) that Woody Allen got a BAD WRAP for Marrying his own Daughter.? So, if anyone really gives a shit about change…why is Sibel Edmonds story to BIG to tell? https://youtu.be/yP1MaSlePk I Like the debating Idea gonzalezsaul1125 suggested…of cooourse <;-)

  5. Why is $174,000 per year not enough to be a congressman/woman? I don’t make nearly that much annually, but I’m comfortable and happy. Greed is amazing…

  6. I thought I might be naive to think that legalized prostitution might have helped some of Harvey Weinstein’s victims. From a Huffington Post article on mar. 14:

A few years ago, researchers at UCLA and Baylor University made a stunning find: When the Rhode Island legislature inadvertently decriminalized indoor prostitution for a number of years, that state saw a 31 percent decline in reported rapes and a similar decline in cases of gonorrhea.

The Netherlands did a study also and the reduction in sexual abuse was even higher at 40%.

    1. @Patflat6horn Jesse “The Body” Ventura talked about legalizing prostitution too.
It’s WAY too much for most Americans to deal with right now but it’s the smart thing to do.
You’ll take it out of the underworld & prevent much of the abuse in that profession.

I have always seen Prostitutes more as Sexual Nurses than anything else.
In old cultures this was not even an issue. They had hookers at the worship temple.
Brings new meaning to that Marvin Gaye song Sexual Healing doesn’t it?

I mean there’s already organizations & entrepreneurs who are pretty much doing what prostitutes already do right now legally.
You ever heard of something called “White Hands Inc.”?
It’s a Japanese medical organization that has caregivers masturbate disabled patients who are paralyzed or have cerebral palsy for the patients’ sexual relief.
Handjobs for the Disabled. That’s Prostitution right there. That’s Sexual Nursing right there.

And also there’s a woman who created a business giving hugs & cuddles to lonely people (usually men).
She’s fully clothed as is the client but she’s creating intimacy for a fee.
She lays down in bed with a client holding them close with embraces.
The mildest form of prostitution right there. Sexual nursing like I said.

Sex Work™ ranges from everything from hug services & modeling to surrogate sex partners & traditional hooking.
Everything from these Instagram/Snapchat girls titillating on selfies to webcam girls performing at home to so-called high class escorts.
It’s just a difference of degrees.

Can’t get rid of sex from a sexual being.
Even the ASEXUALS crave interpersonal intimacy which is a component of sexual connection.
There’s crude ancient porn on cave walls! Just give it up!
So it’s time for us to come to terms with this reality & legalize the full range of Sex Work.

Workers of the World UNITE means much more than just the Industrial Workers.
      John Lucas

  7. Yes, you can sue a sitting president. There is precedence. Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton and he was required to give testimony.

  8. The codeine coincidentally kicks in when the story on the opioid epidemic is going on. Not an addict, though, just recovering from a molar extraction.

  9. Regarding the Weinstein story… I feel like, why is this a shock to anyone?

Hollywood producer is a disgusting pig who uses power for his fucked up sex-shit …
uh, welcome to Hollywood ………………….since the beginning of time.
welcome to politics …………………………since the beginning of time.
welcome to the corporate world ….since the beginning of time.

The frustrating part of this story is that I don’t believe anything will ever change, at least NOT in America.
Also, that the talking heads & politicians calling for Harvey’s Head on MSM won’t be challenged by anyone in media for their hypocrisy.

    1. @chetzmom Harvey Weinstein (and no I will not pronounce it WineSTEEN. it’s WineSTINE) ain’t the only one.
Not by far. Not even remotely close.

What I’m trying to figure out is why is this blasted everywhere all of a sudden when these facts about him were long known?
I mean there was evidence not just allegation here.
I don’t condemn simply on allegation. When the evidence is here then it’s right to condemn.

My view of it is whenever a bigwig catches hell—I’m talking moguls (owners) not necessarily stars who at the end of the day are workers—it’s because that bigwig pissed off a BIGGER wig.
The BIGGER wigs then throw the bigwig under the bus as punishment.
So who did Harvey Weinstein piss off?

And I’m starting to think multiple ways about this story.
Is this taking up the news cycle to distract from government sneaking bad policies through?
Or is this scandal the spark that will light the inferno of connected scandals concerning entertainment AND government entities?
Not that “pizzagate” conspiracy necessarily but is the Harvey Weinstein scandal just a taste of an EVEN BROADER scandal on these topics?
Because it seems like this story is either used as blinding light to distract or is just a taste of worse to come.

Weinstein was connected in Hollywood AND Washington D.C.
And bullshit about his brother not having some inkling on his brother’s behavior.
I don’t buy that AT ALL. Especially when they work together.
He might not know every incident & detail but I’m sure he’s at least heard something over the years about how Harvey acts with women.

      So unnecessary too.
Usually when you get that level of status, you’ll have women offering themselves to you VOLUNTARILY.
See Donald Trump & his 3 wives amongst other rich guys.
And if not that, you certainly have the money to pay someone to humor your kinks.
What happened here is Harvey had too many resources at his disposal & felt there was no challenge to life.
So this sick game he played with women who were not available to him was his way of adding challenge back to his existence.
At some point it probably became a sexual fetish lording his power over unwilling women.
It wasn’t necessarily about the attaining women since he could get women easily at his status.
It was about the power AND the challenge.

      And you’re right, chetzmom.
This story is as old & older than Hollywood.
And the only reason it ever keeps going on is because of the enablers.
People who know stuff but don’t say anything.
      That includes witnesses AND victims.

This stuff only continues because people clam up & turn a blind eye.
That model was brave enough to report it WHEN it happened & record the audio for proof when she went back.
      It’s not the 1960s & 1970s anymore.
People are willing listen & don’t worry about the naysayers if you have the facts.
Police are not testing rape kits like they’re supposed to & THIS is a legitimate deterrent to reporting rapes.
STILL report it because if the cops didn’t do THEIR job, then the responsibility is now on THEM.
You did your part. And nobody can blame you anymore.

Rape kits are forensic unlike word against word.
And yes some things ARE just word against word because you can’t test an improper touch or an indecent exposure without recorded video.
But STILL report that because it COULD build a pattern of behavior when someone else DOES have hard evidence.
These things prevent both the witchhunt of false allegations AND the serial nature of the sexual assaulter.
No one should have a problem with this.

Report it WHEN it happens so that we stop the cycle & prevent it from happening to someone else.
No more coming out YEARS after the fact.
      Stop the predator NOW.
      John Lucas

      1. I think you are on to something.
Who did Harvey piss off? It is either someone in Hollywood or politics … maybe both.

You are also right in that MSM is using this, as they did Trump’s fake outrage over NFL players protests, to cover up the truly devious shit that the govt is doing.

NONE of them actually care if Harvey is a serial groper/abuser. Otherwise, why did Roger Ailes & Bill Cosby get away with it for DECADES? It’s all false finger-waving & swooning outrage.
NONE of them actually care if players take a knee in silent protest. Most of them don’t even acknowledge what the players are protesting! They keep saying they are “protesting The Flag or The National Anthem. ”

They could just actually ASK someone and do some in-depth coverage on what is going on with the police culture in America & ways to solve it. But, NO. That would be too much work and it is a kettle of rotten, decomposing fish that the Govt & its Corporate Overlords rather MSM not get into.

So, here we go and nothing will change until America’s One party system is ended.
To quote JFK, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.”

        1. Yeah, everything is a wheel within a wheel of dark conspiracy. It couldn’t be that sometimes shit just happens and even the powerful get caught with their pants down. It has to be all under control by someone somewhere.

People who need to believe this would rather believe some nefarious power is in control than the truth that no one is. The alternative is too scary for their brain. Unfortunately, it’s the truth. The world is just spinning out of control, rich and powerful people are jockeying for their little slice, but there’s no big grand plan. No one is in charge. It’s all just assholes pushing other assholes, comparing their success against other assholes.

          1. I finally figured out where I’d seen your little robot-dude before…

It’s Marvin from the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!
            The sad, everything-sucks robot!
Perfect! It all makes sense now.

I don’t really think it’s a big conspiracy, I just feel like MSM would rather divert people with the only thing they know how to do … tabloid stories . None of them gives a shit about Harvey or anyone else’s abuse of power.

            Gathly is Marvin the robot!

        2. @chetzmom Conspiracy theory time.
You think Harvey tried to mess with Malia Obama?
Didn’t Malia go to intern at The Weinstein Company?
You think all this is because he messed with the President’s daughter?

Just a thought. It probably had nothing to do with none of that.
I’m just trying to think of a big name who could call in favors & pull strings.
I’m wondering why Barack & Michelle even LET Malia work at The Weinstein Company since they had so many dealings with Harvey & MUST have got a whiff of those rumors.

Thank you for seeing that angle I saw.
Public scandals that take over the news cycle usually happen when they want the public to focus some personal bullshit over stuff that truly affects them in the country.
Dave Chappelle spelled out & underlined that phenomenon in an early 2000s comedy bit.

          Think back to the 1990s.
We were getting consumed with the 1st Michael Jackson Witchhunt in the middle of 1993.
Then NAFTA passed on January 1, 1994 New Year’s Day.
The hot phase of the scandal subsided towards the end of the year just before that bill passed.
George H.W. Bush wanted to pass it but it took a Democrat & a big distraction to get it through.

And when Michael escaped his Kangaroo Court, we were then captivated by a slow-moving White Ford Bronco as the O.J. Murder Scandal took over the news cycle through 1994 & 1995.
Then the Telecommunications Act of 1996 passed on February 8, 1996.
The trial ended not too long before this bill passed.
Any possible focus from the citizens on the dangers of that bill was diverted by the spectacle on Court TV.

Then after that, the Republicans & Democrats ran their OWN scandal show with the Bill Clinton Scandal Train which morphed from Whitewater Land Deals to cum stains on Monica Lewinsky’s dress.
They even go so far as to put up an Impeachment in late 1998!
Then Bill Clinton repealed the Glass-Steagal parameters of the U.S. Banking Act of 1933 on November 12, 1999.
While we’re caught up in the hysteria of what Hillary called “Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy”, this bill passed.
Can’t see straight with all those shiny distraction blinding our eyes.

The WEAKNESS of TYT is how dependent they are on mainstream sources for news stories.
It’s a model they were built on but they need to tweak it for these times.
They play right into scandal season by pumping out these stories.
I guess it’s sort of impossible since lots of the audience is unaware of how the Round-The-Clock Scandal Game works. But I hope with their new reporters, they’ll be covering the UNTOLD story more & more.

And yes like you said & what I got chewed out for elsewhere on the comment boards (Hour 1 October 17, 2017 show), if these people cared so much about his abuse then why didn’t they say anything?
If he was really THAT BLATANT & OBVIOUS it shouldn’t have been hard to oppose him.
If enough people came out & stood together when it happened, he could have never abused so many others.

All of a sudden though, everybody’s up in arms about Harvey Weinstein’s rapey ways.
You shouldn’t keep Open Secrets like that. Big whoop that you shame him now.
You shoulda shamed him when he was raping!
Phony outrage just like you said. They knew.

And agree with all the other examples you mentioned.
All of them are examples of established media failing us.
That’s why I support TYT. I want them to replace established media.
I want them to have the resources to cover the REAL problems in this country like they should be.
And THEN we will make progress on changing the politics & policies of this country.
I’m tired of the Kabuki Show. No more useless distractions.

          John Lucas

  10. There was just an election in Venezuela for their Governors in which 17 socialists were elected but TYT only covers Venezuela when corporate media reports on it and to push the Trump Administration line that it is not a democracy. With Russia it only gets covered when it fits Anas, Cenk or Johns perspective. Cenk admits in a PG that Russia has been covered too much but wont cover the Russian hysteria and how it has impacted other things. I suggest TYT use some of the investment money they got to have a debate show where topics like Russia, Venezuela, 2016 election, Socialism/Capitalism get talked about. It would be more honest than the debates on tv and I think people would have a better idea on where they stand

    1. No I believe TYT has been covering Venezuela on the mainshow and also TYT polictics. They have being covering the breakdown of their economy since they bet on oil prices to remain high but of course they have hit all time lows, which has left them unable to pay down debts and the Socialist leadership did not make a meaningfull effort to diversify their economy and stop oil and gas being their only source of revenue. Guess what? I learn’t almost all of this from TYT reporting.

      1. I learned some of this from TYT myself so I am aware that TYT covers Venezuela. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough but what I was trying to say is that they only offer one perspective of the situation. It was not just that oil prices have gone down that has affected the Venezuelan economy. The violence in the street was not just the military forces but also extreme right wing and fundamental Christian leaders promoting and encouraging violence. The intercept did a story that libertarian think tanks funded by the Kochs have been funneling money to the opposition. Right wing protestors have been burning food supplies and people who are chavistas (mostly people of color). Their is also an economic war against Venezuela by the US and other countries aligned with us. All these things are points of view that don’t get covered by TYT. I learned this stuff mostly from Abby Martin who actually went to Venezuela. TYT has not gone to Venezuela instead they get their news from corporate media. I would love to see TYT bring Abby Martin on to speak on her trip to Venezuela. Here is a link to all the reports Abby has done on the situation in Venezuela & let me know what you think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPANSj0_Pno&list=PL41kD63DEWCl8bHoj5d_0AOF8lQbUh1jg

  11. O’Donnell really needs to go off prompter and stop letting everyone come in his ears.

TYT has far fewer complications and they practically never make mistakes. (Although I’d love to see covert footage of Cenk yelling at producers.)

  12. Regarding Lawrence O’donnell’s off-air recordings:

From Bill Murray’s movie Scrooged (1988):

Frank Cross: Would you *please*, for the love of *god*, and your own body!, stop the damn hammering?

  13. Great segment on the prescription drug market. You touch on a lot of themes with one story. Big pharma, big lobbyists, healthcare and pain management, and the hypocrisy of the war on drugs without ascribing it to one particular political party when both have dirt on their hands.
The pot I’m currently smoking comes from an 80 year old conservative jewish couple who grows it in their basement and usually throws in some vegetables with every sale. They grow good basil too.

You could also view these lovely people as those who are cutting into the market of prescription painkillers.
Please make this a “like and share” video. It was the best segment in a while and I didn’t see a youtube cut.

  14. Ana, a few days ago, you mentioned that Jane the Virgin is a great show. Based on your comment, I checked it out. Wow, great show. Been binging it for 3 days. Thanks.
