Zaydi Shia r closest to Sunni, theologoical. Imam Abu Hanifa a 7th Century scholar backed Zaydi Shiites against Ummayad Dynasty. As Sunni most my peers who r not Arab don’t even know this Shia sect or people. We only aware of Twelvers/Ismailis. Many Sunnis i find after researching Houthis support them. Iran despises Zaydi Shia because it reverses their own Core Beliefs back to a Sunni-like interpretation but as Zaydi Shia.
Love you guys but i just feel like you should know silencers/suppressors are mainly used on ranges and while hunting so the person/s do not have to wear heavy ear protection and are able to hear their surroundings better. Also when a bullet is fired it breaks the sound barrier so is still fairly loud and not much harder at all to locate where the shots are coming from.
Postscriptum: I’ve only shot one pistol at a range on one day but my uncle owns a small local suppressor company which is why i felt the need to share what i know. Thank you guys so much for what you do!

Do I think this is a victory for steps to gun regulation? Hell no. Bump Stocks are not produced by any manufacturer with ties to the NRA and that’s the only reason there is movement on it. In fact, it just further proves that we won’t get anything as long as the gun lobby is so powerful. Movement on mental health and guns? Nope. Movement on assault rifles? Nope. Movement on the one thing that the NRA doesn’t care about in this situation? Hell yeah.
Again good deal on bump stocks being gone but this news actually makes me less hopeful about other changes and not more.
Why did he do it? Well, we have almost no info. Meds? 33 guns in 1 day? Was he really rich? No one knew he was a gun nut – where did he practice? Where did he get targeting explosives and ammonia nitrate? Did he really win at gambling? Was he in debt? How did he get to be a multi millionaire? Gambling? High paid sr defense contractor auditor? High paid IRS auditor? Took pay offs from defense contractors and people being audited by IRS? He owned apt bldgs, how were they run, how’d he get them, when, make how much from them? We are in the dark and don’t understand because we are justifiably being kept in the dark.
ONE THING WE DO KNOW, he was a loner. It’s reported his homes had all blinds down, no one ever saw him, even gambling he was in “quite” “small” high stakes rooms where he played computer poker – no people involved. Even gambling places say he was a loner. So, why the FBI profiler is saying “don’t understand, usually a loner” is very mysterious.

What’s with the folks here who are complaining about Ana? She’s obviously intelligent and articulate. I don’t understand what people are complaining about. I can’t believe that TYT viewers are tone-policing her. She is a woman and has the voice of a woman… shrill and high pitched? TYT has always had a more informal and conversational tone. I love TYT because of this because it feels like I’m hanging out with a group of friends having an intelligent discussion of the issues. The individual personalities are a bonus and make this place great. If folks want “Stepford Wives” female newscasters there are plenty of options out there. Enjoy Ana for Ana, she’s fantastic and doing more for our cause than any of the folks complaining about her.

Maybe in some super fucked up way, he was just trying to prove a point that it’s too easy to get guns, ammo, and explosives. He purchases all these guns in one visit. He brings all these weapons to a room all this ammo and has explosives in the car but only uses his semi rifle.

She’s a politician, not an ordinary citizen. That’s how it is supposed to work. You can’t “politicize” that which is political to begin with.
E.g. her large personal fortune is a political issue, because she got most of that money from Wall Street speeches and other dodgy dealings that do not look good on any civil servant’s record.

Ana is getting difficult to watch. I reject that I don’t like strong women. That’s not it. Most of the women on TYT are strong women and I like them. But I am still don’t know why I am having difficulty watching her. It may have to do with a male bias about what I expect from a woman speaker. I am not sure.

I’m seeing a few glitches in your videos. Not sure if it’s me or you. I saw one at 3:11. About a second of the video repeats itself there when I view it.
Not determining a motive is one of the down sides of hyper defensive take down, even in cases like this and maybe especially in cases like this there are down sides to not taking them alive no matter how hennious.
It was speculated that he had a ‘minie gun’, a chain fed scaled down Gatling gun but my take on that was the echo between the buildings doubled tripled quadrupled the rapidity of the sound of the already pretty rapid shots. It did for a few seconds sound like a muted or muffled minie gun. No one is suggesting any evidence to show this and thank goodness there wasn’t.
Its become very hard to quantify the damage Trump is doing to American credibility around the world. The US’s ability to mediate disputes and enforce treaties has been the cornerstone of international diplomacy since WW2. This creates a clear distinction between it and other world powers likes Russia and China.
No treaty is set in stone, and it is normal for countries to withdraw from a treaty when it no longer serves them. But withdrawing from the Paris climate accord and the nuclear deal so soon makes it difficult for anyone to put their faith in a treaty or agreement signed with the US. Walking away from the nuclear deal is doubly harmful because N. Korea can use that for further justification of its position. If the Europeans and Russians do not go along with Trump’s assessment and continue trade with Iran, then it will be the US that is isolated, not the other way around.
Ana once again conflating issues and misreporting on Yemen. The American soldier that died in Yemen was in an operation against AQAP and was largely a publicity stunt to capture one of their leaders and score a win for Trump early in his administration. Saudi Arabia has nothing to do with that. The US has been doing drone strikes against AQAP for years now with the blessing of the previous Yemeni government and the current one.
As for the civil war, the US is not involved in that and is definitely not fighting the Saudi’s war for them as Ana keeps repeating over and over show after show. Its not a matter of opinion. The boots on the ground and the planes in the air belong to the Saudi coalition. Some diplomatic and logistical support from both US administrations is a far cry from ‘fighting this war for them’. The coalition is trying to restore the internationally recognized government (which Ana never says unless she is reading from a news article). The Houthi’s are fighting to restore Ali Abdullah Saleh, the dictator that was removed after Arab Spring protests. What does TYT want? Should Saleh just be able to start a civil war and seize power again with Iranian assistance? This aspect of the story is long ignored by TYT because it gets in the way of Saudi bashing. What if a country starts funding rebels and insurgent groups in the Mexico to start a civil war and install a government that is sympathetic to it?
I am mindful of the human cost of the war, and I do expect and support opinions and commentary from the show. But consistently ignore pertinent facts and history just to serve the conclusions you want to reach on air is really inexcusable. If the Saudi government really was behind 9/11 nothing in the world would have protected them. The CIA killed King Faisal in retaliation for the Oil boycott, one can only imagine what would have happened if these allegations were actually true as opposed to stretching the truth to fit your narrative.
I do not know the Yemen story. But it seems the TYT presentation was inot some/many respects inaccurate.
If so TYT should issue any corrections needed and consider why the errors arose and we’re not eliminated before broadcast.
