As an owner of two Roombas and three cats, I highly recommend them. It is frightening how much dust and hair they pick up on a daily basis. We have ours go off automatically on a daily schedule. My wife and I both breath much better due to less dust, especially when the pollen index shoots up in Spring.
There is a fabric spray from Downy called wrinkle release or something and it is literally Ana’s spray bottle idea only it has some kind of fabric softener stuff in it that makes the wrinkles come out even better. Life changing shit. I will never own an iron.
Dyson has one. It’s $999.99
First of all, to all of you who are bitching and moaning about that these bright funny women, were not serious and had no serious topics on the after show all I have to say is … for fucks sake’s for two straight hours we had nothing but depressing bullshit serious topics that needed to be covered and was covered well,I’m grateful these young ladies took a light approach to first world issues that are meaningless in real life.
They made it light, airy & fun after two straight hours of mind & soul torturing information that we must & should be informed of in order to be effective in our daily lives.
I am an old Alaskan woman who used a washboard in a bucket then we upgraded to a ringer washer with a clothes line no dryer using water from a frozen rive where we would heated over an old woodstove in giant buckets so we would have clean clothes.
I don’t resent these young women for being born in a era where they have more choices than I ever did, good for them. As for you bitter women so brave behind a computer screen getting your jollies by jumping on other women shame on you!
Thank you ladies it was a really fun lighthearted post game much needed break from all of the terrible things we have been going through as a society. Keep up the great work!
Anna’s bathroom has black mold!
There was a vacuum called Neato when l was researching this couple of years ago. Look for a refurbished Roomba. They have a guaranteed for like six months or a year. Just a thought.
For insomnia try 10mg of melatonin 4 or 5 hours before bed time and another 10mg at bedtime. If that doesn’t work add about 3 or 4 Benadryl.
I loved this post game. Grace’s humor was on point, per usual and all three ladies had me literally laughing out loud. Great job, keep it up :)
That was excellent. I wear a suit everyday and cannot afford dry cleaning all the damn time so i own two steamers. I keep one at work. But a steamer is not as effective at pressing as an iron and nothing is as good as the cleaners. P.S. do not buy those dry cleaner at home dryer kits from target, doesn’t work well.
I like vacuuming but I hate sweeping. I don’t feel like I ever get everything with sweeping. My house is mixed tile and carpet and I want a Roomba so badly for the tile areas. I vacuum at least once a week (usually 2-3 times because dogs) and I will happily continue to do that if I just didn’ have to sweep my floors.
Great post game it was fun
Love the all lady post game. I felt like Cam. It’s just funny listening to females talk about vacuums. (Especially since my wife makes me do the cleaning.)
Amber got it right. I’m black and no, I’ve never dated a sister that enjoyed house work. No worries, that’s just an easy way into their hearts fellas. Take your shirt off and get to cleaning if you want some play.
I loved this post game. So hilarious and random. It’s good to just relax and laugh at our first world problems. I like for my place to be clean, but i don’t like to do the cleaning and i definitely don’t find it relaxing like Grace. Love it when Grace, Amberia, and Ana are on together. It is awesome.
Relevant to the discussion of ironing being terrible and in need of improvement, Brian Regan agrees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bVblNA3drM
Really enjoyed your show! It was great hearing you laugh together. A treat!
This post game gave me life! Am a house husband working from home, doing many of the chores and it’s crazy how these little things fill your head on top of work stuff. We picked up a Dyson and it’s ok but too big, the handvac and swiffer get the job done a lot better. Roomba seems like a smart investment, if you work from home could it be written off?
Great series of post games this week! Not just for the ladies, these topics were a fun break for this fella as well.
Get the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner for $370. I recently got one and it cleans as good as the roomba 980. It runs daily when no ones home and has kept the floors clean. The robot vacuums are so worth it, theres even less dust in the house now.

Regarding Breaking Bad, that was actually post drug king Jesse, where he was blowing tons of money on expensive tvs and video game systems.
But seriously, I don’t understand how people have time to go to the gym every day, but no time to do basic household work. It’s like a mini workout in itself, without the membership fees.
For future reference, what type of Dyson did you get? I’ve wanted a Dyson fan since they were announced but could never justify spending that much money. Maybe I could get one if I saved up 2 Christmases worth of gifts.
I’m on my second roomba.. I love them,( you will honestly name your roomba, and dress it up, etc mine is part of the family) I bought mine reconditioned(?) on amazon for 350 a few months ago.
I really appreciate the all female line-up, we should get more of that. Still hoping for a morning news program too!
Oh yeah, a steamer is good. Not a big doozie one all professional-like and expensive (which is of course nice but hey I ain’t got the space nor the patience for it) but a nice hand held one of good quality. The good ones don’t leave wet spots. Google up lots of nice recommendations, people are saying good stuff all over the place to help make a good decision. Got a good hand held steamer over 20 years ago and never looked back.
Love you Amberia! Grace! Ana!
Liked it very much up in the Post Game room today!
I solved the vacuuming / ironing problem over ten years ago. I got a housekeeper once a week for three hours at a time so when I know someone is coming over I just do light dusting and vacuuming. Of course it’s WONDERFUL those lucky times she gets done just before someone comes over. Very low cost and back pain eliminating.
I remember when those ‘roomba’ things were invented over here in Japan at over $1,000 a machine. The fact that they’re now $500 ain’t no kind of consolation. Yes I know there’s a little brush that does corners but hey, that’s for OPEN corners of course. Nothing gets beside closets, stairs, under and over things like a human being with a vacuum or a cloth with a great smelling cleaner on it. A mini-vac (Dyson has a good one, cheaper at Costco) gets hard to reach places and the feathers / feather dust / seed hulls the bird king of my castle likes to spread around.
I got a nice ironing board from a Canadian lady decades ago and it’s sat beside one of my cabinets unused for over ten years. All my stuff is iron free now and the kimonos I sometimes go out in are naturally pressed straight thanks to the special folding technique.
What beats a cool looking Dyson ‘Star Trekkish’ fan? NO Dyson ‘Star Trekkish’ fan. In fact NO fan at all, we’ve got air conditioners we paid a damn fortune for, right? Be MINIMALIST! Clear spaces, don’t clutter them.
My goal is to have NOTHING on or on top of my fridge. Still not there but I’m WAY better than I was even a few years ago. Can YOU GUYS take the 100% clear therefore super easy to clean fridge surface challenge? LOL
“I like when we have different guests, on the Post Game.”
Me, too. Especially when those different guests are Ana and Grace. Thank you.
Hey, why hasn’t the moderator approved my comments from Wednesday’s Post Game 10/4? I know it was unusually long, but it wasn’t that bad.
Yeah, Amberia’s right. Irons are a pain, and there should be alternatives by now. I guess the Chinese dry cleaner next door is an alternative, but there should be a better DIY alternative.
“The industrial revolution.” Yes. Exactly. That’s what it feels like. An outdated, pre-electronic ritual which tbh is just another attempt to avoid disapproval from others.
Hot showers and hot baths. Yeah, baby. Even in the summer sometimes, but not all the time, they feel great.
Grace, you can get past all of the pressure for making excuses about the steamer, by telling everyone that you jog constantly. That’s another life hack, for ya – make excuses, before they’re actually needed.
Alright, enough with this ‘steamy’ topic (6:40). Let’s talk about machines that perform SUCtion, instead. Nice segway, hosts.
Since Ana is doing all that research, I wonder if you can get ‘points’ from iRobot, for the effort? In other words, if a customer can’t afford a product, but they put in enough time & labor researching it, can they be awarded credits that can be cashed in, when we’re ready to purchase the item? I don’t know how it would work, but there has to be some way to make that profitable. There’s a germ of a moneymaker there, I just know it, damn it.
If Grace has a problem with Roombas or any technology walking upstairs, then she’s really going to be creeped out when automated toilets and showers do the cleaning for us, better than we can. I’m all for it, it’s just another unpleasant task that needs to be automated. Take me robot, I’m yours.
Racist vacuums. I like em already. Where can I sign up? If I buy one now, can I get a discount on the sexist models? You know, the ones that will tolerate brown carpets, but avoids the pink ones? Oh, and very important – will there be Black Friday discounts, on the fat-shaming versions? The ones that weave around areas with chips & oily crumbs?
Or how about the liberal vacuums? You know, the ones that refuse to ‘suck’ up anything, because they’re offended by the word, but still insist on getting paid?
Or how about religious holiday discounts, for right-wing vacuums? You know, the vaccums that want to give themselves free reign over their entire house and the immediate environment; but expect all the other vacuums nearby to make their own laws that will magically mesh together successfully, without any external programming from the larger community?
Hahahaha! Juuuuust joking. Just playing with semantics. Ana, you’re doing all the research; please let us know about these things, asap.
What Grace is saying, about a gofund me campaign for Ana’s Roomba – she’s joking, but correct. It would work; Ana would have her little robot, within a month. It might take a little longer than that, to bond with Charlie.
Just don’t hug the vacuum in front of him, Ana. Somehow, ya gotta make Charlie understand that the Roomba works for him, as well.
(Ana) “I’ve had many moments, when I’ve had lapses in judgment.” But enough about my ex-boyfriends.
You threw the box away, Ana? For a new item? Omg. Is your condo really that small?
Good chemistry, between these three. Anyone who reads the topic description, don’t let it dissuade you from listening.
Oh Ana, if only I had known, I would have gladly traded my RUMBA for a couple of TYT-shirts. I bought mine new from Costco and sold after one use (on eBay…I got 5 stars from buyer). Here’s the rub: it scratched the legs of my chrome n glass table. It is designed to map the room and avoid objects, but “it” bumps first (leaving numerous unsightly scratches).
Amberia, I have cork floors (so I believe this would work well, on your wood). Don’t laugh, because, I am serious: I bought a 3 foot wide industrial mop. Only buy the kind with the flat(velcro/micro fiber) base. Anyway, it takes 20 minutes tops to do all 1500sq ft. That micro fiber is like a magnet for dust. Don’t waste your time or money on that ridiculous swifer product, this works great.
Terrible Post Game, bring back the men.
Thanks Kathy for the female point of view I thought they lost the plot strong panel shallow depth post game !
If your biggest concern is if you buy a roomba, you are as out of touch as the Koch brothers. Grace is correct you need help, all of you.
What rock do you women live under? First of all they have changed ironing boards, you should have seen the old all wooden ones. Nothing replaces ironing on certain clothing no matter what you do.
As far as vacuuming is concerned you need it very often if you don’t have carpets. Try a dust mop, they work great.
I know you are professionals but housework isn’t brain surgery. Yes it does take some effort but you are making mountains out of mole hills. I’d love to have seen any of you use a wringer washing machine. LOL!
It is reality :D
Is it not a little bit sexist that we get an excellant strong female panel, then in the post game the girls revert to domestic appliances !
These ladies I am sure have a plethora of life time tales, LGBT,African american and TYT online progressive.
Maybe not, I’m a straight man, and feel like I probably know how to iron better than at least 2/3 panelists after listening to them describe the task.
As long as Ana is on the panel, I don’t care what the topic is. My day is already made.
what do you do after the first 2min when you have slapped the money turn to fox non news ?
monkey !
No idea what that means, but I’m sure it’s funny.
Dyson cleaners are amazing! You might think your house is clean but when you run a Dyson over your floor prepare to feel like a disgusting beast.
My workplace has no AC as we need to keep it warm for our patients. The regular oscillating fans die all the time as they are not suitable for industrial use and also cannot be cleaned effectively so pose an infection risk. Now we have Dyson fans and they are a revelation! I’d love to try the hairdryer.
BTW, I don’t think James Dyson seems pretentious in the ads, but maybe that’s cos I’m British?
As an avid Roomba fan, here’s a few points:
– The $500 version is WORTH IT. Get the expensive version. It will last years.
– Its not meant to clean the entire house in one go – we have 2 shedding cats and my crazy long hair that also seems to shed more than it should…but we run it every day to keep the house at a clean level.
– It’s not gonna DEEP clean, but it will make your house presentable every day.
– It goes over my carpet AND wood, and cleans both just as well
– And YES it does do corners! Its got a great little rotary sweeper that gets into corners.
– Our cats do attack it, but Roomba usually wins.
DO IT. You’re a clean freak, and it will keep your condo manageable so you can come home from a long day at TYT and not look at the ground thinking “damn this needs a vacuuming.”
I have a knock off Roomba…. It’s a robotic sweeper, rather than a vacuum type. It’s a Vileda, and it’s like $30 Canadian. Cheap as heck… which is good, because we used it for about a couple weeks and then got lazy. LOL Also our cats kept attacking it… and now we have a dog who probably would too.
Also, rather than a Dyson, go for a Shark! They’re amazing! My only problem is the small canister size… lots of dumping needed to clean our place of all the pet hair, but I will always buy a Shark! We have at least 3. An upright, a handheld/shoulder carry, and a steam mop. I think that’s it…. But I totally want the specific pet hair one too.
I’m sure @bretterlich has really funny ironing jokes. He should’ve been on this all ladies panel.
Vornado has a line of retro/vintage fans that look cool and work. We have the green color, and I think it’s gorgeous.
We also have a wall/ceiling mount Air King fan that works really well, and looks industrial/classic.
On vacuums, I have a clean-freak friend with two cats and she loves the Rumba. We have a Shark Ninja, and it’s a pretty awesome vacuum. With two small children and hardwood floors, I do a lot of vacuuming. :)

Thanks Ladies…Shark makes an awesome line of Vac.s, and they have a handy “Lift Away” feature…Very light weight. I can and have Vac. for hours…Not often you get to relax and enjoy a light workout. Someone said that it is a Mindless job…as in AHH.
Hilliarious post game. Really enjoyed while I folded laundry that I hate.
Not a great all-female post game for breaking female stereotypes after the football story…ROFLMAO. But seriously – my brother in law is a big Roomba advocate. And he’s also a way better cook than my sister – I mean his last name is Cook. I have to work during Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend but will pick up a plate later. Can’t wait!
You guys are the best! I chuckled and laughed throughout. I just want to say that I’m like almost as old as Cenk (I am a mom to millenials) and don’t let anyone tell you that we had it figured out either – cause we didn’t. We pondered ironing and steaming – and hoping our mother-in-law wouldn’t think we were incompetent wives or mothers. Pfft… I had three kids before I could cook real actual family meals. Stop worrying so much. ;) I have too many kids and bills to worry about Roombas though. ;)
Agreed
If Charlie has an accidental poo in the house, the Rumba would smear it ALL OVER THE PLACE!
LOLOLOLOLOL!
Roomba alternatives

No, sorry, not buying you a Rumba…
Wow. My first Post Game and it’s not what I expected from you 3 young women! Rumba, sweeping, ironing. Getting domestic!
Seriously! This is hilarious in its IRONY. “OMG there are 3 women on the panel, that never happens! Let’s talk about the progressive topic of women doing housework!”
… … … …
These women are amazing, tho.
Don’t judge, buy a Dyson.
