Dave Koller kicks off the new members content show, Reporting In. Each week, a different TYT reporter will Skype in to catch up with DK on news stories he/she is working on. This week, Jordan Chariton is on to talk about his start in journalism, how big of a TYT fan he is, and what the mainstream media fails to cover.

  1. Hey guys, maybe you should take these ones down given Jordan is no longer with TYT? Might be a bit of a conflict given they are paid content.

  2. Why don’t we members get links in the description? Every time I hear in a video that there will be links in the description, they’re never on the actual member’s website, which is where I consume the vast majority of videos from TYT that I actually watch. If you can’t do links, URLs are fine, I know how to copy and paste.

  3. I’m digging this new show!
The Turks are getting POWERFUL, man!

It’s GOTTA be Edwin in charge of this theme music.
This guy gets the jams goin’! Hahahahaha!
“Sound Engineer” Edwin Umana. Edwin DAMN sure got the sounds for ya ass!

And look at the rest of the credits!
Jacorey directing! Jacorey Palmer! Director! Look AT him! My MAN!
Irma Brito – Stage Manager. Manage that stage, girl! Friday Post Game Crew comin’ THRU!
Tim Collins – Executive Producer. The Executive Branch of Reporting In. Diggin’ dat!

And I’m glad to see the hidden Dave Koller emerge to be the frontman of this show.
Dave’s always in the cut so I’m glad to see him hosting this new series.
Those who don’t see the Friday Post Games would miss Dave’s appearances.

And I definitely see how Rick Perry & the Department of Energy gets under his skin.
Dave is a geologist & I know he knows how important that department is for environmental studies.
It’s not something you take lightly. ESPECIALLY with the reality of Climate Change at hand.

And of course it’s cool to see Jordan’s journey in journalism.
He made TYT Politics a must see & his addition to TYT is 5 Star. ☼☼☼☼☼
He has made his name SECURE in journalism history in just his 2 years at the Turks.
LOVED it when Jordan talked about established media reporters totally at a loss with how he did things.
“You’re not supposed to say that! You’re not supposed to do that!”
It’s just ONE MORE EXAMPLE of the coming tide of new media overtaking old media.
They KNOW it’s coming. And yet they’re unable to do anything about it.
They can’t even crossover into new media because, like Conor McGregor in that Mayweather fight, their muscle memory is tuned to traditional TV conventions.
There was a slight difference between Cable TV & old Broadcast TV but their presentations are largely the same.
Internet media mixes the rawness & outspokenness of Radio with the brilliance & prominence of TV while also being more interconnected to the Internet audience all at the same time.
It’s the Future & Jordan has made his name with THE pioneer of this Future,

When we get to the 2020 Elections, The Young Turks will be the Kingmakers as Bernie Sanders takes his rightful place as President.
After that, EVERYBODY will change their perceptions about The Young Turks.
The original one overthrew the Ottoman Empire. The modern one overthrows the Media Empire.

TYT Town Hall, you say? TYT Presidential Debate, you say? Come & see. Come & see.

  4. Great interview! You covered a lot of things, from what they’re doing now to how they got here.

I think there might also be a demand for a concise introduction to each of the reporters for the TYT Politics channel. Get a sense of who’s who and what their focus tends to be.

  5. Great show. Look forward to your Nomiki interview Dave. Agree with Brumjo i.e.( integrating reports from the FIELD on live broadcast)…Proud to be a member:)

  6. I love this Dave. Good job up in here. I am very much looking forward to seeing and hearing reports from all the great horsewomen and horsemen I have helped hire at TYT for the sake of justice, fairness and an overdue end to the money-in-politics oligarchy We The People are suffering from.

  7. Good stuff! I enjoy how we get to know the personnel at TYT more. TYT started doing this on the youtube channel where they featured one of the editors but then never really continued (as far as i know).

I would like to see more interviews of the staff. Please do Nomiki Konst next!

  8. love love love this new show. Jordan is awesome. As a Michigan resident, thank you for covering the Flint water problems and our crooked governor.

  9. Horsewood

We must eliminate Electoral College people are very informative not like in 1800 & 1900 we have
cable & internet like TYT Thank You.

  10. Yaaaaassss, it’s about time we started getting a true show for our TYT Reporters. They do such great work, but it seems so incidental if you have to dig through youtube for them. They deserve a proper showcase for the stories they’re working on. ?

  11. Dave, I agree with the other comments. I like the idea of this show as a primer about the great reporters we have been able to hire.

What I continue to not understand is why cannot our reporters Skype in during the main show to Cenk and Ana, tell the story (instead of Cenk or Ana reading it) and interact with them and give their perspective? I don’t understand why the reporters and the main show have to be SO separate. I’d still LOVE to see Cenk and Dylan have a regular/semi-regular editorial segment.

Jordan is king of the reporters! Two years, 500 videos?! Day-amn!

    1. I totally agree with brumjo. I feel TYT Live over covers Trump and not enough segments on the stories from reporters in the field. Also like idea about Cenk & Dylan, maybe even segments with David Sirota. Jordan’s the best!

  12. Fuck yes! I’ve been a member for few years now and after seeing all this growth, you guys should be proud. Also, we all know you’re a busy man Dave, so thanks for the show.

  13. Thanks Dave, you’re the best.

I’m putting this comment on this page because I have faith in your follow-through. There are so many great TYT polls, but unless you know the exact name of the poll, they are hard (some find them impossible) to find. May I suggest a URL of tytnetwork.com/poll/

A person typing in that URL would then have link-list to all TYT polls.

Thanks again for the new show, and stay strong.

    1. Deb, I hope you don’t mind me piggybacking on your suggestion, but wouldn’t it be easier to put all the polls on the website under the “My TYT” ribbon at the top of the site? You would hit “My TYT” and on the list would be “Polls”?
If you did that I wouldn’t have to pause the show, open another link, type in TYTNetwork.com/whatever to respond.

Maybe this would be even easier for the members??

  14. Seriously – Thanks for this. Jordan is progressive GOLD. Can’t say it enough, he is so goddamn important to America.

  15. Dave
    Great show and concept.

It is difficult to understand the terrain of the various reporters’ work by looking at TYT Politics on YouTube. This show is definitely a better way to understand what I might want to pursue with more in-depth viewing on the various channels provided.

BTW, I don’t see the links to Jordan’s work that you mentioned in the interview.
