  1. Another excellent interview, Cenk. This was a very exciting interview, as Congressman Ellison discussed his strategies to promote progressive ideals. In my opinion, the only ways to change this “new normal” we find ourselves in is to either change the Democratic Party from the inside, or the outside. This congressman is demonstrating excellent & effective strategies to reinvigorate the party by promoting a progressive agenda via reinvigorating relationships within the core of the party: the people. Finally, Ellison’s commitment to the most beneficial legislation to people & working to change the direction & policy of the Democratic Party (despite past attempts to hurt him politically by the Obama administration) is an example of grace & class; something sadly rare in our current political environment.

  2. Just had an idea for the next interview (with whoever!)–allow a members’ question. It could be one or two, and that way Cenk can ask harder questions with the defense of it coming from the members.

What do you think was missing from this interview?

  3. An enlightening interview. To those that didn’t catch or don’t understand why the several key probing questions were packed underneath a polite veneer, you wouldn’t survive 5 seconds in a single round of chess boxing.

  4. Ellison sounds like a Progressive who has a plan.
The ground game, door-knockers, 50-state solution sounds great. Love the app he was talking about … knock 10 or something? Sounds great!

But I feel the DNC/Clintoncrat/Corporatists are using him.
They are saying pretty words to him. They understand they need Progressives to win, and they think they can use Ellison to bridge the gap. “Yes, Keith! That’s a great idea! We love it! Go forward!”
But in the end they will knee-cap him. They will leave him twisting in the wind.
The Big Donors gotta have final say and the Consultant Class needs to make BANK!
Step aside, cuz it’s time to be “pragmatic.”

Pragmatic is the knew word for, “You’re adorable, with your progressive ideas! Too Cute! Now STFU & behave.”

Sorry Keith, Fuck the DNC … HARD.
I won’t support their New Spin on the Old Lie to voters.
As far as I’m concerned, the DNC, Perez, Pelosi, Schumer, the whole bag-of-dicks, can suck on Justice Democrats’ wake… or Draft Bernie’s … or Brand New Congress’s … or the Greens’…
ANYONE but NEVER a DNC backed candidate.
We fell for the Obama Shell game before, never again.

  5. He sound like a well intention guy but he’s trying to drag the rest of the organisation who have no will to move. Ultimatly it would be irrelevent to me if they came knocking on my door to get my opinion. If they take corporate money and don’t change their rhetoric on stage, they can fuck right off.

  6. Cenk you really should go back to ask tough questions. You have been toothless in these interviews for far too long.
I could also live without that 10 minute long DNC advertisement at the beginning.
