Awesome show. This one really rocked.
Where the hell has Jimmy been?? I miss him!
Cenk alone is TYT at its worst by far. Nothing like a guy getting to “madsturbate” while throwing out demonstrably false statements again and again with no one there to contradict him.
With regard to the sleeves on women’s clothes – I see it as a way to force women to acclimate to petty dictates so they can slowly take away their identity and try to keep them out of politics.
Not that this matters, but John looks hot.
Awesome show, TYT at its best. Would love to see all the segments from this hour up on Yt, though. That’s the only way I can share the ones I feel need it and the story about the GOP lowering the Min wage in St. Louis is not up yet.
I love that “animals are innocent” sound bite. Where is that from? What’s the story behind that one?
I’m sure it’s on youtube. are you a new member/watcher? found it for you :)…

Funniest mental image today: Angela Merkel leaning over to an assistant and whispering in rushed German for them to go get her 3 big snakes.
ACA isn’t a victory for Democrats, it’s a victory for conservative Republicans. It pushes people into for-profit health insurance. It was invented by the Heritage Foundation.
If Pelosi was such a great legislator, she would have victories to show. The reason Democrats have been all but kicked out of government is that they haven’t won anything for the American people. We even sent them Bernie Sanders and they still didn’t get the message.
Regrettably, they only way they might win is to be completely excluded from government, where they can regroup as a progressive party and start winning elections again.
Pelosi Master comment made me think of The Lego Movie. I am a Master Builder.
You guys remember that Seinfeld episode where Jerry showed Elaine a suitcase packing performance and went ‘I am the Master Packer.’
‘Excuse me, Master Packer?’
‘Yes?’
‘Just gimme your keys.’
Excuse me Master Legislator? Just give us your keys.
Cenk was on fire today. We finally got the progressive Cenk. Waiting to see tomorrow’s power panel and listen to Michael defend Nancy Pelosi…
I wonder if we’ll ever get more than word salad from the MSM hosts on TYT (Cenk, John, Ana) when it comes to stating how the Russians interfered in the election. Of course they don’t even try to address that anymore, since they know they only got word salad and as such they only ever obliquely refer to it as “Russian interference”.
Maybe when trump leaves office…? Nah, probably not even then . They won’t even acknowledge that the intelligence community didn’t determine that Russia interfered in the election. A selected group of agents from only 3 agencies came up with that, and whoever selected those agents effectively selected the outcome. But I doubt TYT will ever acknowledge that, since it kills the only ‘evidence’ they really have.
Really wish they would stop focusing so much on trump and Russia…at least Jimmy and Jordan are paying more attention to what’s going on in the country.
Besides all the obvious reasons, Nancy needs to go because she has been branded as a “San Francisco Liberal.”
She is POISON.
Voters have been conditioned to run from the word “liberal.” It doesn’t matter if she is or not.
I bet you could ask the same voters their views on progressive solutions to issues, they would be in favor of most of them. But, if you asked the same people what they thought of Nancy, and Liberals in general, they would freak the fuck out and say NO.
Even if you are an establishment Dem, you gotta see that she is a disaster.
On her name recognition alone!
She MUST go.
Of course you are right. That said… This is the party that thought it was a good idea to nominate Hillary Clinton.
The best case I’ve read, post-election, on why Pelosi and all the other Corporate Democrats have to go – period – is the following. It nails every aspect of it.
Party Unity is for Rubes. If you want to beat Trump, start by fighting the Democrats.
https://www.currentaffairs.org/2017/06/party-unity-is-for-rubes
Third, and perhaps most importantly, there’s no reason to believe that the Democratic Party as it exists today is capable of fighting Trump. The party, after a decade of massive losses at every level of government, is now a smoking pile of rubble at every level; it just lost an election to a reality-TV playboy who ran on a platform of screwing the poor. More disturbingly, it has now become abundantly clear that the party has no intention of changing either its personnel or its strategy in response to this manifest failure. As Gabriel Winant points out in the brilliant essay to which Kazin was responding, the Democrats’ problems are profound and structural: they need a new social base to succeed, and a mere rebranding won’t suffice. But the Democratic leadership has refused even so much as rebranding. Left to its own devices, the party will keep doing the same things, and it will keep losing.
Kazin may well prefer a centrist Democratic administration to a Republican one—I certainly do—but that’s not the choice we’re faced with now. Allowing the centrists to run things unopposed is what got us here. Only the progressive left offers a way forward in the fight against Trump, because only the progressive left can build the coalition to beat him—but to do so we’ll need to reshape the Democratic Party, which means seeing off those who control it now. Fighting the Clinton-Obama wing of the Democratic Party isn’t a distraction from beating the GOP: it’s a vital first step.
Yep.
Said the woman in California where a Big Pharma lobbyist just cheated and frauded his way into becoming Chair of the CA Democratic Party.
I still believe we can take over this ship and turn it around. But I also have my donation to Draft Bernie on record.
Thanks for the link. What a great article to explain exactly why the Corporate Democrats need to be resisted against just as much as Trump. Either they will change or they will continue to lose. It’s on them at this point, not us.
On the Pelosi Jordan comparison, I’d have gone with acting career over baseball. On the Trump Putin meeting, possible/probable/wherever-on-the-damn-Russia-debate-you-sit deals aside; it is an ex-KGB politician so corrupt and good at being corrupt that he almost certainly is one of the richest politicians/people in the world and he is going up against an idiot who can’t read anything longer than a tweet with bone spurs(??somewhere??) to keep him from Vietnam(better than shitting yourself) whose dad gave him everything and who would currently be richer if he hadn’t touched his dad’s money at all. I’m sure it will turn out fine, on the other hand has someone checked that he can’t give Putin California.
Good job on the segment regarding Pelosi. I also enjoyed parts of the segment on Trump’s upcoming meeting with Putin.

Johnny Pie is on the verge of a Johnny Part
He’s obviously studying at the Michael Shure school of hair styling
And Senor Pie…police that mustache! For real, hair lip is not a good look…
I love how wrong the Pelosi/Jordan retirement comparison is. The conspiracy behind Jordan’s first retirement was that he was forced into it bc he was caught gambling. His second retirement was bc Jerry Reinsdorf decided to break up the dynasty of MJ, Phil, Pippen, & Rodman. And Jordan’s third retirement was by by choice but done so that his career scoring average would remain barely over a record 30 ppg.
