  1. I have watched many crime shows, and I am here to tell you that the only one that’s truly worth actively seeking out is Law and Order SVU, the first 10 seasons or so. The plots started getting more bland around when Christopher Meloni left.

  2. MOST BORING POSTGAME EVER. PLEASE, LET’S DO MORE POSTGAMES ABOUT THE VACUOUS ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. NO PIECE OF KNOWLEDGE COMING FROM THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY IS WORTHY OF REMEMBERING OR EVEN KNOWING.

      1. this proves to me you have never tried it, anyone who tries Niagen loves it. why wouldn’t you wanna go back in time to age 18-20? your mind, body everything go back to your youth!

  3. Shows I could watch all day: Californication, any HGTV Home renovation show, anything by Anthony Bourdain…

On an unrelated note, Cenk how long were you on that treadmill??? Damn!

  4. So, game of thrones is cool but 2 broke girls is stupid… is that what we’re saying here? Can’t we just say different people of different ages who relate to different things like different things. So maybe Game of thrones and Star Wars is cool to me but I can see how 2 broke girls might be better for someone else that hates those 2 shows.

Knocking what people find entertaining is the same type of stupidity behind saying 1 religion is right and the other wrong.

  5. i turned my t.v. off in 1992 and turned the internet on in 98. Ive read a lot of book’s. Age of Reason by Thomas Paine great book he wort it because people missed the point of Common Sense. My favorite quot of Paine ” The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing, and it admits of no conclusion.” and “Science is the true theology.” He was the political philosopher of our founding fathers, they called themselves men of reason. They where not men of god but men of science.

    1. you speak my language. i think this obsession of entertainment industry stuff if vacuous. i turned my tv off about 10 years ago.

  6. I love Jeopardy!

I had no idea Drew Carey was a republican, so I looked it up. Wikipedia says he is a libertarian.

  7. Viceland; tv worth watching – whether its weed or social programming… very good stuff and even Mario Batali – MOLTISSIMO!

  8. I have to disagree with you very strongly on Two Broke Girls. Saying that’s it’s not funny or unfunny and that you could watch it for half an hour and it would just be lost time but not painful; you’re giving it way too much credit. It should have been canceled after the pilot episode, or at least after the first season. This show is absolutely horrendous and pathetic. The only reason I’d think it might have gotten viewers and for him to have called it a blockbuster hit is because older women and younger girls might like it and think the one main character (or both) are funny. The thing is, even if those actresses might possibly be funny, the writers and producers and director must be terrible, a damn joke, pathetic, just friggin sad. The thing about it is how shows with laugh tracks are already pathetic just for the laugh track now days, like the show is admitting they suck so they need to tell people when to laugh, where the joke just was, and to make shitty ass jokes seem funny because “there’s a bunch of people laughing”. Now I can handle a show with a laugh track if the show is entertaining, but this one has nothing interesting or entertaining at all in any sense whatsoever at any point in the show. So with such a boring ass show, they try fucking way too ridiculously hard to be funny. Literally they try to throw jokes almost every single phrase each character speaks, which makes it about every 5-10 seconds max, AND THEY DO THE LAUGH TRACK EVERY GODDAMN TIME. So it’s a fucking laugh track every 5-10 seconds after every few words spoken, it doesn’t matter if it’s an actual joke, like a setup joke or a pun, or one liners, punch lines, zingers, insults, sarcasm, slight sarcasm, or any little dumb thing like “huh?” or “what?” or “yo!” Or “heyyy” or “for real?” Like literally anything they will add a laugh track to every 5-10 seconds, and 99% of them aren’t anywhere close to being funny. It’s so pathetic. I’m talking one girl will walk in the door to the other lookin frustrated and sit on the couch angrily and not say anything and there will be a small laugh track and then it will pause while the other girl stares in silence at her for a few seconds, depending on how she’s staring at her the laugh track might go again, then it will go again once she says something, it could just be, “so…” and they’ll do the laugh track. Like anybody in the world would laugh so hard at that, even if there’s some underlying or hidden thing the audience knows about, or if whatever is going on is supposed to make it funny, they’ll do the laugh track regardless, so at that point, 10-2 seconds into the show with only 1 word spoken they’ll have done the laugh track 2-3 times. After that the other angry girl will say something else and get a laugh track, even if she only said “nothing”‘while looking angry. Then another laugh track when the other girl says “it sure doesn’t look like nothing!” Then another laugh track when she says something that happened to piss her off, a few laugh tracks depending on how long her explaination is, and then a laugh track at the other girl as they show her face and get her response to it, no matter what it is. Like I said, this goes on and on with nothing funny at all yet constant laugh tracks, if you took the laugh tracks away it would be a bunch of normal conversations maybe with some sarcasm or insults or something small, but nothing funny, especially nothing that people would laugh as hard as they do in the laugh tracks. The sexual reference jokes are retarded, everything they do as a “dumb blonde moment” is just pathetically stupid yet it gets a super hard laugh track, just like everything else they do every 5-10 seconds. Honestly it’s up there at the top of worst tv shows in history. So don’t give it credit where it doesn’t deserve by saying it’s Okay, it’s not okay, it’s literally an absolutely pathetic excuse for a comedy, and the writers and director and anyone involved in it should be embarrassed at the pathetic product of a show they stamp their name on and show to the world, literally adding a laugh track every 10 seconds to try to convince them it’s funny, that’s when you know it’s a pathetic show.

    1. I love how worked up you are over this. I have to agree about laugh tracks. There should definitely not be any laugh tracks on shows produced today.

  9. I love love love Big Bang for two reasons… Number one, Kaley Cuoco. Her comedic timing is flawless (something she learned from John Ritter) and she so beautiful, but not really… By that, I mean, if you look at her up close and personal like, her eyes are too big, her cheeks are a little chubby, and her smile is really kinda crooked… She’s like Don Knots really hot daughter…
Reason number two is Chuck Lorre’s Vanity Cards… They are usually very timely… Right after the election of Donald Trump, after weeks of disparaging Vanity Cards about the man, the final one almost made me fall out of my chair… It simply read…

    “Uh-oh…”

  10. I find it annoying when people poo-poo TV when they’re watching TV on their phones/laptops all day long. Also, for those who can afford cable/premium TV, there’s little question that TV is surpassing film in terms of quality. Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Girls, etc., are better than 90 percent of movies in theaters today.

  11. Parks and Rec was phenomenal and if you loved cop shows in the past, you should watch Angie Tribeca on TBS as it is a spoof of Law and Order and all other CSI cop shows but the characters take it seriously. It’s hysterical
