  2. I have to laugh at poor Francis! I have a nephew living in Nairobi and my brother used to work in southern Uganda, where he founded an aide organization.
    I can’t believe nobody told him to pack a windup flashlight and a little lantern that runs on solar power.

  6. I really loved this post-game, thank you guys. Great conversation and great show. I like Malcolm’s format too, but it’s nice to see a low key format so that we get to hear you guys actually talk more about real things going on in your life.

  7. For quite a long time it was impossible to grow up in the US as a girl without the Disney idea of princesses. Even as a total tomboy growing up in the 80’s there was this deeply ingrained “Someday my Prince will come,” notion that got an extra jolt with the whole fairy tale wedding of Diana and Charles. Since we {supposedly} don’t live under any sort of monarchy or have any sort of experience with or connection to the mundane aspect of royalty, there’s this persistent mythical romanticism about all the titles and such.

  9. I love these random topic Friday PG’s. Dave Koller is a treasure. These two need to be on together frequently, they seem to really click, although I do miss Malcolm. Francis’ brogue is absolutely delicious, and I’m liking his rocking the Burnsides.
