  1. Can someone please let Amberia know that she has two cameras? I love her so much, but it’s unsettling to watch a program with someone who isn’t making “eye contact” with the audience. Just let her know which one is her one-shot and tell her to just look back and forth between the two randomly, then at least she’ll get it sometimes on her one-shot. Would really appreciate it! I love her commentary and it makes me happy to see her on the panel. Thanks.

    1. She’s not looking at the wrong camera, she’s looking at herself in the vanity monitor. Several other hosts do it sometimes, too, like Ben will check his hair when they are coming back from breaks, but they generally stop doing that when they have their one shot or are in the middle of a discussion. I thought Has was the worst until Amberia started appearing on the show. She does it constantly and it’s maddening! It’s a shame, because I really like her contributions to the panels and I want her to be on more, but it’s so distracting!

  4. Awesome panel! I really enjoyed the by-play of not just having different opinions, but everyone listening to each other and reinforcing each other’s strong points.

    I hope Amberia becomes a regular on the panel, she has such a great matter-of-fact way of pointing out the role race places in all these other issues that makes it really obvious and adds more depth to the stories.

  7. Ambria on your comments on Ivanka. This is a strategy of white supremacy? Come on that is a total stretch and I am a progressive not on the right. She is either lying or is genuinely surprised and think people hitting back at her farther because of her entitlement and class not race, this is a economic class thing. How are you seeing race and not that is rich people being entitled and out of touch even a black person could be interchanged here such as, Obama or one of his daughters.

    Making this about identity politics and not focussing on the class battle going on between the socioeconomically disadvantaged and the top 10% – 1% is why Hillary lost. Calling us ‘Bernie bros’ and sexists!

    If only applying this to Trump himself and his campaign that they played and benefited from putting out racist and anti-sematic undertones then yes, but Ambria you can’t just apply this racism and white superiority onto his daughter. You could talk about her being a hypocrite on women while pretending to be a feminist and fighting for women’s rights and equality etc. but attributing blame on her for her fathers actions and behaviour is like calling out Obamas daughters if they gave an interview defending their farther and blaming them for all the drone strikes he did that killed civilians, even when that is not the context they’re defending him on in the interview.

    1. The Trump administration has used hate speech to incite violence against black and brown communities specifically because they are black or brown – textbook white supremacy.

    She’s daughter of President Trumpelthinskin (tweeter king) and she is shocked & chagrined that she’s not being treated like a delicate flower? Normally, I would say “Hands Off” as far as prez wives & children go.

    So guys, let’s remember who is, shall we say ‘Silent Bob’, or shall we say ‘Silent Charlie Murphy’ in the Ivanka picture — her mother Ivana. Let’s remember how Ivanka defended her sick dad going into the girls’ dressing room with a ‘He does that.’ It is more than obvious which side Ivanka took. If it’s a loyalty thing then you can see just how far into that family that shit goes. Not ONE WORD from Ivana and that ain’t all due to legal issues either.

    That White House is cursed and Ivanka is a huge part of it.

  14. This panel, plus Cenk, would be my fav. In particular, Hannah & Amberia are fantastic in any panel. Even Mark repeatedly has to say, “Wow, you’re right. I hadn’t thought of that.” Great variety of points of view. And it’s missing the complaining tone of Ana (Sorry, Ana!). I generally agree with Ana, too, but she is too quick to admit at the top of the show that she’s pissed off and then comes that complaining tone for an hour. I’ve recently started to fast forward through all of the 7 minute videos on random viral news stories for this very reason.

    Blah, blah, more positively… Hannah & Amberia deserve their own credit without comparison.

  17. There were quite a few a LEO stories that went undercovered last week and I notice you didn’t report on Richard Collins murder. Was there a FB segment done on it? Black. College graduate. Military man. Murder. Alt-reich ties. That’s tyt’s wheelhouse.

    1. That story did pop up a lot on my news feed. I guess TYT cannot be expected to cover every story. It’s crazy out there.

      1. @squaneenge I hear that, but when I was checking the past two weeks of coverage some of the stories looked pretty superfluous (yeah, trump) when compared to the murders. Never mind the fact that the right dropped Collin’s death right away despite the fact that a soldier was killed..
