Cenk. Roger Aisles death. Flint 6 not charged. FCC voting to advance net neutrality repeal. New Syria bombing. Chaffetz resigning. Flynn’s Turkey ties.
Cenk, please stop doing that baby voice! It’s so childish and obnoxious. I sometimes listen to the show in earshot of others and I’m instantly embarrassed by how immature you sound.
Cenk’s report on Chaffetz resigning was great! But you haven’t made a YouTube video of it yet. Can you make one please? I want to spread the word. No one else covered the whole story like Cenk did.
I am struck by the vast contrast to Ben’s laudatory comments about his father in a long ago “Old School” episode shortly after Frank Mankiewicz’s death to Cenk’s brutally true criticisms of Roger Ailes… Frank’s legacy is that of a great man; Ailes’ legacy is that of an ogre….
Hard to believe but there are many, many people who do not consider sexual harassment as gross. In fact, they enjoy hearing stories and jokes about harassment. Aisles got rich televising the so-called red neck bigot and KKK perspectives in business suits and short skirts. He televised the same hate speech and trash talk millions hear every Sunday from thousands of American pulpits. The only group that FOX tippy toed around were American Jews, by using the code word “globalists”. Let’s face the facts, the man did not take care of his body, he did not care about himself and he died as the result of horrible lifestyle choices which he knew would prematurely end his life. I don’t believe anyone really loved him, therefore I am sad that he died before he could beneficially use his God-given gifts and talents. Energy can not be created or destroyed, our bodies contain a lot of energy that is never destroyed when the flesh dies.
I note that both of the women who got the job are gorgeous skinny blondes. I wold LOVE to see a “less attractive” woman weep about how “I wouldn’t have gotten this job without him.”
The flint policeman — does he think it is 1940? “Ladies are allowed to wear hats, but gentlemen must remove theirs”. That rule was always ridiculous, but it is from a time when ladies had their hats woven into their hairdos, or hats that were more like frosting on a cake. Is the man saying that I, a female, can show up in a huge cowboy hat or a baseball cap worn backwards and wear it to church? But my male friend has to remove his cap? I know this is obvious to everyone reading, but it would not be obvious to him, not even if I said it straight to his face.
Cenk – I love the piece on Jordan’s fantastic work – please do this more often and also interview Jordan for a little while even if he is not in the studio. I would love to see an hour dedicated to all the reporters stories with updates and what’s next to do in the story.
I would agree that their was some justice for the Flint 6 and I’m happy for that; but I want the cops prevented from arresting them in the first place. [On a broader note, I want cops prevented from killing and oppressing and hurting others too.]
Can Jordan find the authorities to tell/prevent the police that they just can’t go around arresting people like this in the first place? NO more police thuggery & senseless deaths to beautiful everyday folks!!!!!!
Cenk & TYT – I propose a Progressive Coalition of Media Organizations be formed; so you can get the truth-telling message out to more people, bring more credibility to each organization, neutralize the Corporate Media b.s and do greater things thru alliances/teamwork.
I propose this Coalition be formed with the Intercept, The Real News, Counterpunch, Alternet, Wikileaks, Truthout, Truthdig, Reuters, Common Dreams, Democracy Now and others who believe that money in politics is corruption and who believe that telling the whole truth for the greater good is best.
I know that you are kinda doing this indirectly – for example, I know Ryan Grim works for the Huffington Post, TYT and the Intercept, which allows Ryan to share stories and insights and increases credibility for them.
Also, I would for giving money to this Progressive Coalition, in order for all Progressive Independent Media groups (big and small) to survive, have great power to fight for everyday folks and to eventually defeat the Corporate Coup d’etat of the Media.
It’s a good name but not my real one. “Robert Jordan” is the lead character of the Ernest Hemingway novel For Whom The Bell Tolls. In that story, a motley crew of socialists, anarchists and international volunteers – the Robert in question – wage guerrilla warfare on the fascists during the Spanish civil war.
We’re the army, in every way but the most literal sense. I made that graphic when I joined.
Way cool name reference – thanks for explaining. Now, I will be hearing Metallica’s song in my head when I see your name and then picture a guerrilla warfare triumphant moment.
TYT – Please do a story on this article below from DC McClatchy – People are in meltdown mode – Inside the GOP donor class panic about Trump.
I believe it is good to prolong the investigations and to look deeper into the $500 billion oil pipeline Exxon deal with the Russians and to look deeper into which foreign groups are financing Trump and to see how wrong it is for Trump to make crap-loads of money while being President. I want this to drag on for the next 2 years, so Trump & the Repubs & their Big Money a-holes can’t get any support for their terrible policies and actions to rape the taxpayers from our huge national tax bounty that was meant to support all of us.
Here is a statement from the article of one Repub on how Trump is getting them off-track: [my thoughts – YEAH]
“At this time, as we speak today, I’m more concerned with, this is getting their legislative agenda off track,” Barbour said. “And listen, they’ve got a year to get stuff done before the elections in 2018, and I know members of Congress and President Trump, these guys want to get this stuff done. But they’re just so off message. They’ve got to find a way to get back to focusing on what people care about, what people elected him to do. If not, they’re in real trouble.”
Flynn has already asked for immunity so he’s ready to throw Trump under the bus so why would dumkopf want him back? Also I won’t shed a single tear or heave a sigh for the lounge lizard Ailes. The rest of the throwbacks (Trump O’Reilly Cosby) need to disappear too.
I would also include the Fox and CNN in your story by describing their terrible ratings from March, fleeing advertisers, Roger’s death, host firings, Fox hosts jumping ship to MSNBC, their terrible support for war, their terrible propaganda to tell the whole truth about the US war costs & killing civilians, avoiding the real issues that everyday people want to hear, and how their average viewer age keeps rising over the decades of their b.s. I know these 3 media outlets are intertwined since you described how Roger Ailes was there in the beginning of MSNBC and how they all are Corporate sellouts and charlatans.
I look forward to your prediction and the final nail in their coffins.
TYT – I really like & value your shows and the fighting you all do. I supported your $2 million ‘sword in the darkness’ campaign with 3 or 4 donations to get you over the top. But, I agree with many others that the show needs some important changes, a 3-HOUR Show as described below:
1) First hour of the show: BIG news stories & updates (like policies and actions that Sanders & others are proposing; like policies & actions that Trump & the Repubs are doing in secret to harm ‘we the people’; like updates to the widespread horrors of police brutality and what kind of justice/punishment those cops faced; like updates to the various wars & aggressions & bullying maneuvers, like corrupt Big Money & Big Corporation ‘hungry for the world’ donors pulling the strings of politicians & the levers of power thruout the world). The first hour should NOT have fluff stories (like the Roger Ailes 30 min death piece – which I thought had great postmortem points). Now, doing a ‘revealing the corruption’ story of an ALIVE Big Money a-hole in the first hour is needed to take them down (like the next Roger Ailes 2.0).
2) Second hour of the show: Interviews with your reporters, video clips of all your reporters in action with ‘we the people’ struggling against the powerful, constant updates to these stories with background info of what happened before and what they think is next in the fight.
3) Third hour of the show: Headlines from progressive new groups to help get the message out and to reinforce the credibility of everyone’s truth-telling work to fight against Corporate propaganda. Then, you can talk about whatever fluffy stuff you want – I rarely watch most of your current second hour.
I would like to ask those women on the couch how long & hard they had to SUCK on Aisles’ spongy, stubby cock to get their job?
The woman who said she was diagnosed w/MS and Roger was so “wonderful” to her.
She probably meant he gave her a pillow for her knees.
So true Cenk. Death does not give you redemption. It was an excellent obituary for Roger Ailes.
For the rest of the hour, Cenks humour and turns of phrase made me laugh so much it made the otherwise unbearable bearable
Back when Bush stole the election I was in my 20’s and I remember thinking the democrats were the good guys,. I remember specifically thinking they were just too polite. I had no idea they were just corrupt. So channels like CNN are just as corrupt and inaccurate as Fox News.
Back when Bush stole the election I was in my 20’s and I remember thinking the democrats were the good guys,. I remember specifically thinking they were just too polite. If he wanted to take care of Flynn he could have just pardoned him. It would be within his authority as president and would have caused a lot less issues than obstructing justice. His supporters would have not cared, they never do. Maybe he did not know it was an option?
If he pardons him its open season on Trump because a presidential pardon means that Flynn can sing like a canary without fearing anything and trust me, he will sing.
Great show, Cenk. I love you. I love your analysis. Can’t say as much for your understudies, John and Ana. But maybe someday they’ll find their own voices.
“That’s like your opinion man” I love all the main players of TYT and try to appreciate each person’s perspective whether I agree with it or not. Having varied perspectives and personalities on TYT is what makes it much more palatable and engaging than cable TV news. I think Cenk’s style is complimented by John and Anna’s and his opinion/position on a story being presented has been changed multiple times by Anna or John’s thoughts on the story. When was the last time, if ever, you saw that on Lame Stream Media?
Gathly, you hit the nail on the head, man. I enjoy Cenk solo hours, but his choice of topics are oftentimes poor. Too much Trump, the Roger Ailes story was unnecessarily long. More stories from the reporters we hired, less repeated bullshit we’ve already heard about all day.
It’s one of the most important men of the country dying, that deserves air time. Though I’d agree that the second segment about him where Cenk lists twitter responses etc was unnecessary.
El Duderino & Gathly – I agree – less ‘fluff’ Roger Ailes stories (move it to the second hour as I also saw that he died from other news sources and I didn’t care to hear 25 minutes of precious TYT first hour used up on him) and more stories from OUR 13 reporters on the MAIN show!!!! I want to see Jordan on the show being asked questions from Cenk about Jordan’s story, just like regular local news does.
Isn’t the US going to supply heavy armaments to the Kurds fighting SISL in Syria and isn’t Turkey pissed about this move? Is this to say to the world, “see we are doing what we said we’d do. Nobody was bought off by Turkey”.
I’m not sure Trump even knew about that. You would think he’d be tweeting about it if he’d made the decision. I read this more as some folks in the military taking advantage of the loose leash he gave them. Plus, it’s the right thing to do, rather than the Turkey thing to do, so that’s another indicator that Trump wasn’t in the decision loop for this.
I think you may be right on all those points. If there is the possibility of a silver lining here, vis-a-vi Donald Trump as president, it’s made me a lot more interested in current affairs and the interactions of the different factors that shape them. I’m Canadian, so enjoy a degree of insolation from the madness of US politics. We have our own madness, but on a much smaller scale.
During a time when there was a dispute between a state’s historical agency and indigenous people over ancient indigenous remains, an acquaintance attempted to support the indigenous people by stating the treatment of the dead is an indication of a society’s character. I corrected him by stating societies should be judged by how they treat their poor and powerless living members, not the dead.
Ailes is dead and beyond caring what we say of him. To prove my point, I’d like to make the following insensitive remark: Let’s see how many of his admirers volunteer to be his pall bearers! Bill O’Reilly does not have anything better to do, I would imagine, since his firing. Sean Hannity is a big cheerleader for Ailes; let’s see if he’s willing to risk herniated disks to show his love for the toad. I could go on, but you get the point.
So far, no lightning strikes.
Now, that we’ve dealt with the dead, let’s see about the powerless. Perhaps Fox News could help make America great again by eliminating racism and misogyny from their propaganda. I suppose they could, after all, isn’t Murdoch grooming his scions to run the company? Wouldn’t a “younger” generation see things differently than the founder? But, if they did, wouldn’t eliminating racism and misogyny from their propaganda render conservationism impotent and irrelevant?
> I corrected him by stating societies should be judged by how they treat their poor and powerless living members, not the dead.
Indeed. By far the most relevant aspect of Ailes’ life, is how his actions have impacted the well-being of ordinary people, of which such enormous numbers live in poverty (either physical and financial poverty, or mental poverty, or cultural poverty, etc.). Needless to say the answer is: a highly negative impact.
July 4th is coming up, I hope that You will do a story on how bad fireworks are for Our precious and dying Environment. There are alternatives to such showy lights in the air, if only people would embrace new ways. I’ve done some research, please feel free to email Me if You want to. I find it boring when I see others have massive comments. It wouldn’t fit.
belladonnaprincess, you are exactly right! The expression “in like Flynn” was coined for Errol Flynn, the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s actor. The expression “in like Flint” superseded it in the late 1960s, when James Coburn starred in spy spoofs entitled “Our Man Flint” (1966) and “In Like Flint” (1967).
I can feel myself getting dumber while listening to this.
Why did I need 20 minutes on Roger Ailes? Is there anyone on Earth who didn’t know he was dead by TYT air time? Did anyone think Cenk was a big fan of Roger Ailes? Because that’s what we learned from the first 20 minutes of this hour. What the fuck was the point of hiring those reporters if we spend 20 minutes on news everyone on Earth already knew, and then 5 minutes on Jordan’s piece? Jordan’s reporting is great. We have all these reporters. Put them on the show. Why are you shunting the reporters we hired off to TYTpolitics? Shouldn’t they be the show? You have all these actual reporters out in the field looking into actual news? I want to know what they’re up to, on THE MAIN SHOW, not have to go chasing it down on some other channel.
I cannot stand when Cenk hosts alone. He needs someone to interrupt and ask questions and reign him in on his endlessly repeated talking points. Make this show about news, not Cenk’s cartoon universe where everything is interpreted through a moronic cartoon filter where everything can be boiled down to one motive and people are all on one side or another of something. I really don’t know why he does this. Is he dumbing it down to make his product more generic for a dumber audience, or is he just this dumb? The world is complex and intricate and nuanced. A news show would explore that complexity and nuance in depth. THAT is what corporate media doesn’t do. THAT is what we’ve been missing. You’re saying you’re better, so be better.
I have the internet. I don’t need Cenk to read me the headlines from the news blogs. I read those already today. Roger Ailes death was every story on every site for 12 hours straight before TYT. I have access to that all day. I have a phone. I have a computer. Why do I need TYT to tell me any of this? I was excited when we got these reporters. I was happy to pay what I could to make them happen. So, can we have an actual news show now? I want nuanced analysis of news I don’t know about already about actual people in the world, not celebrities and news readers. I want to hear something put in its context from people who are on the scene doing reporting, on stories that involve real human beings, not cartoons. I don’t care what Alex Jones or Fox and Friends or Anne Coulter thinks about anything. I don’t need to hear gossip about what other news readers whisper behind each other’s backs. I don’t need TYT to tell me what was trending on Twitter today.
Look, the second hour is already lost. The second hour is stories about sex and celebrities and somebody said something that touches on Ana’s life, so she’s gonna rant for half the show now. Can’t we shove all the endless repeated talking points and opinions we all already know you have in that hour? And put the reporters on the first hour, to discuss news in depth based on reporting? That would be pretty cool.
Agreed that they need to keep the chitchat down and focus better. Reducing cannabis consumption might be a good starting point, but good luck getting them to try it.
However, the main attraction to TYT is watching the hosts launch those hypomanic cannabis cartoon rants. Plus they need to stay on message. Not everyone has lived through two Syrius incarnations of TYT. Noobs need the historical context of the progressive cause.
Besides, digging up news is not that easy. Just hiring people is not enough. It takes resources for travel, research, and a fair amount of luck to actually be in the right place at the right time.
TYT may have launched a fundraiser to hire these reporters, but someone also has to pay their salaries and fund their travel. Consider upping your donation and see what happens?
Give it time. TYT has continually improved since its inception and done it all on a shoestring. This is their first foray into power politics. The establishment is taking notice. That means they are on the right track.
Many people might not know the history behind Fox News, and most of what he talked about was about how Fox had an effect on American media and politics. Are you blind/deaf? He spent all of 2 minutes covering what the conservative media thought. Plus, today was a slower news day. But no, TYT HAS TO CATER TO ME AND ONLY ME. Not everyone can be or is a news junky like you or I.
And you have to be pretty fucking stupid to think the second hour has NO value. In fact i would argue some days it has MORE value than hour one, again, slow news days. It’s hilarious actually, you took a one sentence complaint and regurgitated it into 3 paragraphs, in hilariously pathetic fashion. Cenk gives TYT Politics full reign on the TYT Politics channel, and what he showed today from Jordan’s story was the most important, hence he showed it and thanked US for helping to bring these things to light. Not much more to it, go watch Jordan’s videos like I did.
The main show is for covering a wider range of topics, and TYT politics are the ear to the ground. Just how news shows are done, except TYT has the (for the most part) best coverage / progressive analysis. And again, TODAY WAS A SLOWER NEWS DAY. The fuck do you want them to do, cover everything they did the day before? God you’re pathetic.
The show doesn’t just cover the day to day happenings on Capitol Hill. It’s supposed to be an in depth news show that delves into the real stories that the MSM doesn’t cover. If you want the hourly Trump report go watch CNN.
And it does delve into stories MSM doesn’t cover, every single day. Quit being dishonest. As for Trump, he happens to affect anything involving politics in general. Also, would you like the INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS to not investigate and sit on the panel everyday? HE HIRED THEM TO BE ON THE ROAD INVESTIGATING. When a story is big enough, they bring it to the main show, like this Flint story today. Do you want him to just play the entire Flint 6 video on the main show? These criticisms are entitled and laughable, as well as lacking in critique.
Cenk & company’s breakdowns of the day to day news are much more preferable to CNN coverage, and the average TYT member I wager would agree. They make sure to hold the establishment responsible. The long stories are covered on the main show, Aggressive Progressives, and TYT Politics with a range of views.
It’s hilarious how you people think everyone is paying attention to news as it breaks during the day. Some people happen to work or be in class and get their news upon finishing the day. Weird, it’s almost like it’s supposed to be a independant news program.
“Also, would you like the INVESTIGATIVE REPORTERS to not investigate and sit on the panel everyday? HE HIRED THEM TO BE ON THE ROAD INVESTIGATING”
Michael Tracy sat in on the Jimmy Dore show so yes, occasionally I would. More importantly, I would like to see the stories they’re covering to be reported on the show and give us updates from time to time. Also, you don’t have to be a news junkie to know Roger Ailes died when it’s the breaking news story and is plastered all of your feed.
“Do you want him to just play the entire Flint 6 video on the main show? These criticisms are entitled and laughable, as well as lacking in critique.”
No one said that. Just tired of the same stories that are disguised as news.
When it’s a “slow news day”, that’s when you run pieces that are being ignored by mainstream news. TYT couldn’t do that before, because they didn’t have reporters, so they were limited to whatever the news blogs decided was important, which was usually the same bullshit corporate news thought was important, which is basically gossip in Washington type news.
What having reporters does, and we hired like 20 of them, I think, is that someone is out spending weeks on a news piece, highlighting something that the corporate news would never even think to cover, using real reporters techniques that involve research and in-person interviews, to create an in-depth story on something like Flint or police violence or even some small political race where someone with no media exposure somewhere is taking on a bought-and-sold corporate politician for city council or something like that. These in-depth pieces are expensive and take time, so they are ignored by corporate media, especially if they expose an advertiser or some establishment figure. When we had real newspapers, before, we used to do this, and they could afford to do stuff like this. This is what I want TYT to do with the reporters they just hired.
I understand you need to lash out, as you feel like you’re defending a friend in TYT, but understand that criticism isn’t necessarily bad. Criticism can be constructive. We all like TYT. That’s why we’re here. If I didn’t think it was great and had the potential to be greater, I wouldn’t be here at all. TYT has had some really great moments over the years in the 5 or so years I’ve been a member, and this latest deal with hiring reporters could make them even better in ways that are desperately needed. I just hope they choose to use them that way. And I understand, it’s a business first. They have to make the revenue with their youtube clicks, and that probably means more sensationalism over substance, but there are ways to do that for youtube clicks that doesn’t involve polluting the main show for members.
This is not about me defending TYT, it’s about actual flawed criticism. We have less than 10 reporters, all of whom have a lot on their plates, and people here want to see them on the panel, everyday. That would be a complete and utter waste time and money. We get their work as it comes in, Jordan being the most prolific and in depth, so we see near weekly updates from him. I don’t “need” to lash out, you need to actually think about critiques instead of relying on buzzwords and comparisons to the MSM to whine about what they cover, when in reality they’re already doing a lot more substantivly than anything on television. Lest we forget that 18 minute segment on Roger Ailes history is your indicator that TYT is failing to utilize their investigative journalists, which is not a very well thought out line of attack. Did you know about the Nixon letter? Did you know about his work on the 2000 election or any other? If so, pat yourself on the back, because the majority of people knew nothing about Roger Ailes besides the sexual assault cases, and therefore the segement was valuable.
If you had an idea for what else they should have been covered you would have mentioned it in your inital comment, because that would be a real critique. But no, you rely on vauge comparisons to the MSM, statements like “hurr I’m getting dumber this show has no value” while failing to realize TYT is still running on essentially a shoestring budget and must be efficient with their message. As well as suggesting that they don’t cover stories that the MSM isn’t covering (they do, near daily). Up your membership if you want Cenk to have all his reporters constantly flying back to the studio to report on things easily covered on the road. Check that ego.
I explicitly stated that I do find value in TYT, not that it has no value. In your rush to defend TYT at all costs, you didn’t read what I said carefully enough. TYT has great days and terrible days, and when they trend toward terrible, I complain about it. When they trend toward great, I celebrate it. That’s the function of the comment section here, in my view. I am capable of criticizing something and not immediately hating it, or saying it’s worthless. I’m able to like something and still able to have criticisms and listen to others criticisms. I don’t understand why that is so hard for some people.
The reporters don’t need to fly back to the show every day. They have an internet show. Cenk has added bits from the road from his cellphone. They have a million ways to report from exactly wherever they are without going anywhere. This is exactly what they did with Jordan’s segment. Sometimes they are in town, and when they are they should be on the panel whenever they can be. There are 10 of them, so they should all be at various levels of work on whatever stories they’re working on. When they have anything that might be newsworthy, they can do a remote segment and TYT can play it on the main show, like they used to do nearly daily with the AJ+ reporting.
Upping my one membership won’t change how the reporters are being used. That’s a management decision that I can’t make no matter how much money I give. I’m just hoping they make that decision themselves. Cenk should also never be on the show alone. I would have less of a problem with the Ailes story if it wasn’t another Cenk goes on his usual rant. It’s just not adding anything when he never addresses the complexity of any story, and turns everything into this childlike narrative. Other people, whether the reporters or other people behind the desk, tend to reign that in just by being there and having their own perspectives to offer. It seems like a big waste when TYT is growing so much to still devote several hours to the CEO of the company on air alone.
Completely agree. Why raise all this money to hire reporters and then reduce them to a secondary YouTube Channel? Good point on the second host. It almost becomes a lecture when he spends 30+ minutes on a single topic without any dissenting views, someone to ask pertinent questions or just someone to focus him when he starts meandering. The second hour, like you said, is lost and I would love to see all the fluff moved to that hour. It’s time to have a proper first hour that truly focuses on the news and doesn’t rely on stories that we’ve already read hours ago.
Or maybe just a listing of the time points when Cenk starts talking about a particular subject so we can skip the rants and get to the useful stuff and not waste so much of our lives.
Why raise all this money to hire reporters and then reduce them to a secondary YouTube Channel?
My sense is that they’re trying to build up that channel into a much bigger channel (with far more Youtube subscribers etc.) so that it can rival the main show one day. But this is very difficult and takes time, as we’ve seen.
Secondly, the main show has always followed a certain model. It’s a flawed model, even moreso now that TYT has all these reporters, undeniably. But the model does work (as CherylJosie amply expands on). And because it works, it can function as the crux and the rock upon which all of TYT is built. So there is a strong case for not messing with a formula that works, even there are good reasons (increasingly so) for attempting to evolve it.
I suspect you’re right about the main show unfortunately. It’s a shame too see all the effort the viewers put in the last year and not see any discernible change. Still, what you said about the TYT Politics channel does give me hope.
Don’t worry Cuckxly, everyone here can tell a Republican troll. The TYT folks are happy with your money though, so by all means, please continue your mindless drivel.
That’s not “justice.” That’s simply the lack of further injustice (in this case). Justice would be the arresting officers getting fired or charged with something.
Thank you Cenk for your honest reporting about Roger Aisles, sweeping his sexual harassment crimes under the rug is just part of rape culture. I am sickened by how many people are talking about it as some simple mistake. You don’t harass women for decades because you are making a mistake you do it because you are gross and you believe that women are beneath you. Today instead of mourning him I choose to mourn his victims. America and countless women were horrifically impacted by this monster I hope their wounds heal.
Comments
Cenk, please stop doing that baby voice! It’s so childish and obnoxious. I sometimes listen to the show in earshot of others and I’m instantly embarrassed by how immature you sound.
Cenk, I believe the show that Ailes worked on was “The Mike Douglas Show”.
Michael Douglas is an actor, Mike Douglas was a talk show host.
I think another tenant for Justus Democrats should be simple and to the point: We will stop killing people.
Our government is out of fucking control and has been for too long
Damn straight – there should be at least 2 purity tests – stop killing and get money out of politics.
I cannot believe that Ailes died the same day Chris Cornell did. I’m happy and sad at the same time…
Hard to believe but there are many, many people who do not consider sexual harassment as gross. In fact, they enjoy hearing stories and jokes about harassment. Aisles got rich televising the so-called red neck bigot and KKK perspectives in business suits and short skirts. He televised the same hate speech and trash talk millions hear every Sunday from thousands of American pulpits.

Strongly seconding this.
Thanks Robert. I love your Logo Icon. Btw, my first name is Robert – I go by Sean as that’s what my Mamma calls me.
Don’t forget Counterpunch!
My bad..reading good me not goodly at
TTDM – thanks for trying as I’m sure I missed some. Also, I like your funny ‘my bad’.

I’m wondering where Michael Moore has been in this whole Flint Disaster. He’s a resident, no ?
Flynn has already asked for immunity so he’s ready to throw Trump under the bus so why would dumkopf want him back? Also I won’t shed a single tear or heave a sigh for the lounge lizard Ailes. The rest of the throwbacks (Trump O’Reilly Cosby) need to disappear too.
Where’s the talk of the Turkish presidents goons attacking Americans?
Cenk, It’s time to give an update to the story on Feb 29, 2016 – Is MSNBC Dead? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gO2Ho8N_Qs
Thank you kindly for considering.
These sum up my thoughts on the death of Ailes. He ailes no more~! His next incarnation~? Over to you.
We’re all killers at heart . . . . I have never taken anybody’s life, but I have often read obituary notices with considerable satisfaction.

The first thing you should do when you get up is read the obituaries. You never know when you’ll see a name that will just make your day.

I would like to ask those women on the couch how long & hard they had to SUCK on Aisles’ spongy, stubby cock to get their job?
The woman who said she was diagnosed w/MS and Roger was so “wonderful” to her.
She probably meant he gave her a pillow for her knees.
Whatta guy!
Roger Ailes name should be listed right next to Joseph Goebbels as a propagandist and deplorable human being.
I had no idea they were just corrupt. So channels like CNN are just as corrupt and inaccurate as Fox News. Only reason Fox success is cause the left is fucked up too.
Cenk on Ayles: best obituary ever!
Love it when Cenk huffs and puffs over all this ridiculousness. Well done this hour.
Holy shit that bitch said that every one of them got given a chance on the “couch” by roger Aisles what a fucking creepo!?!?!
John and Ana are great too
Thanks for the quick upload Gigi! You’re the bee’s knees!
Just sayin’
I can relate. I’m Californian, so we’re pretty insulated, too. Also very insolated.
I may have to kick my spell checker out the door. : )
So glad you guys are covering Flint. I live in Genesee County, and I appreciate your reporters!
Wasn’t the saying “In like Flynn”?
Just saying.
No, the movie is titled ‘In Like Flint’.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifwedx6zdm8
belladonnaprincess, you are exactly right!
“TODAY WAS A SLOWER NEWS DAY”
The show doesn’t just cover the day to day happenings on Capitol Hill.
…even if there are good reasons (increasingly so) for attempting to evolve it.
Hahahahaha
So happy I am a member! Sometimes, like today, I’m just too busy to listen as I please. I so love being able to go back and listen again!
That’s not “justice.” That’s simply the lack of further injustice (in this case). Justice would be the arresting officers getting fired or charged with something.
Now I don’t feel as bad, i know you shouldn’t say but things about the dead but aisles was a horrible human.
Love that Cenk was real about Ailes. I completely agree; a horrible person who just died is still horrible.
Wow, Cenk’s segment on Roger Ailes was fantastic. Great summary of a horrible man.
Hopefully the grave is fair and balanced.
