    3. Stephen A Smith does know the NBA, his analysis on other sports is no better than that of a casual fan. TYT in general is right about him, hes an entertainer and picks sides to incite debates and manufactures moments of heightened emotions to engage his base. I would disagree with TYT on the fact that it matters whether its real emotion or not, hes an entertainer, not a sports newscaster.

      Fun interesting fact, your political views determines what sports you like, but has nothing to do with knowledge of sports studies have found. Those who self identify as republicans are more drawn to PGA, NASCAR, and NHL vs democrats of NBA, Tennis, NCAAB, with all other sports leagues being pretty even across party lines.

        That is an interesting fun fact. You’ve always heard the redneck nascar thing but I never thought of golf that way. The NHL I’ve never even considered, but sounds plausible with the locations of a lot of teams. Tennis I put with golf, just never even thought of it along those lines.

        1. Serena and Venus likely changed the demographic too with their 18+ years of dominance, the stereotype and start up cash to play tennis is still a strong inhabiting factor though. A lot of this is also the athletes playing the sports, white people are majority pros in golf, nascar, and NHL as opposed to other sports, so the demographic fit there is pretty interesting as well

          You will much better engage people if you back off a lot of inflammatory talk though haha, TYT audience is accepting of differing views and willing to go back and forth, but cmon what you doing with the n bombs and stuff. Clearly you have too much care and engagement to reduce yourself to a troll, rise up.

    1. I like Ana too, but I’d love to see some women over 40 on the show. Seems odd that most of the male talent at TYT is over 40 and the female talent is 30 and under. I guess there aren’t any liberal woman over the age of 40?

        1. Oh I love Aida, but she’s not on much. And you are right, the only thing that gives her age away is her knowledge of the world.

  17. Part of what makes TYT human, and real to me is the background laughter. It’s like I’m there in the studio, and I’m just hanging out with the crew of TYT.
