  1. Apparently these checkpoints and “where are your papers?” inquiries have been going on a long time, not just since Trump took office. Youtube has quite the collection of border state stops where the more savvy people only respond to BP by saying “Am I being detained?” and “Am I free to go?”. Never carried my passport or visa documentation on my person all those years Iived in the US. Never realized until now what a blessing it was not to be living in one of the southern border states! Would have been terrible to be forcibly placed in Mexico when I am from Canada!

  2. IS THIS JUST OBVIOUS TO ME: ALEX JONES HAS BIPOLAR DISORDER, IT EXPLAINS ALL HIS SYMPTOMS – EVERY EPISODE I’VE SEEN CAN EITHER BE EXPLAINED BY A HIGH (MANIA) OR DOWN (DEPRESSIVE) DISORDER. IF HE TOOK HIS PILLS (IF HE EVEN KNOWS HE HAS IT) THEN HE WOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE HIS KIDS.

  3. My daughter is on the autism spectrum. She goes to a school for kids with above average IQS, but where a learning disability holds them back. They have zero tolerance for aggressive behavior. That said, the times when any physical assault has happened, they would NEVER be so vile as to press charges. I wept when I watched that child being taken away in cuffs because I know just how bewildered he was. Autism and anxiety go hand in hand.

Kudos for mom for keeping her cool!

  4. As a former Special education teacher I have been beaten (bruises and all) Twice in my career…. once by a 4 year who was severely Autistic. The second time by a 7 year old with Sever emotional delevopmatal disorders. At that time, my options were to get hit or allow him to run into traffic. (I remember because the mom was right their not doing a Dam thing to help him from running into danger)
Neither Instance did I think for a second to charge them or any of the other kids who threaten violent acts against me or school property. Like the High School Senior who lifted a desk over his head in the motion of wanting to throw it at me…. I didn’t even blink just asked him to tell me ‘if you want to tell me what’s really wrong put the desk down.’
    Anyway,
Not sure who the teacher or school situation/history was but they (the person who called the police) are HEARTLESS and I hope the Mom wins a lawsuit for damages so she can get her son in a safer healthier environment that KNOWS how to successfully educate him. Along with whatever counseling he will take so this doesn’t esculate into Violence.

  5. That chemist bitch needs a life sentence, and to be raped in the eye socket every day for forever.

  6. Fun Fact about the Tumbledown Trails thing Brett referenced. Now, “Fun Fact” might need to be renamed “Small Town Wisconsin Gossip” but I have it on semi-reliable authority that the $9.11 promotion for 9 holes of golf was actually concocted by both the owner of the club and a veteran he consulted to earnestly try to honor the country and people’s sacrifices by way of an incredibly cheap afternoon of golfing. Obviously, once the promotion was publicized, the world came down on it. They were definitely not making money on that promotion. That particular golf course is like a 15 minute drive from me :V

  7. The police arresting the kid have heard the name “Fucking Pigs”. I know this offends some TYT folks and members, but the simple soluttion for this is quit acting like fucking pigs and I’ll stop calling them FUCKING PIGS!

  8. I can’t believe they arrested that child. Don’t they have any real unsolved crimes to investigate?

  9. Instead of a commercial it would be more in TYT spirit to say
a short bit about the sponsor and refer us to the site.

The slope is slippery and full of temptations~!

    Sounds like a good bank.

  10. No… as a paying member this is not cool. My guess this is a one time mistake and we won’t see it again. I hope not anyway.

    1. Really..? TYT giving support to/getting support from an ethical banking alternative is hypocritical..? Must the new Alt version of hypocrisy…

TYT is not anti-capitalist, they are against rampant, unchecked capitalism. It’s totally consistent to partner with like-minded companies; it helps with public awareness for the alternatives, and – if there’s a sponsorship element involved – then it helps with TYT’s funding model. TYT never said they’d not take sponsorship. It just has to be the right kind.

  11. Just as a reminder, “Autism Speaks” (the group quoted in regards to the IDEA) is at best counterproductive and at worst a hate group according to many legitimate organizations. I hope that any parents with autistic children will look at a variety of sources. Thanks TYT team. <3

    1. Absolutely right about autism speaks! They should never be quoted as the experts! My god I have a non verbal autistic son and I remember reading no more than a sentence of their information and feeling decidedly uncomfortable so I never went near them again. Being Australian, it’s easy for me to avoid them as they don’t get quoted here.
It’s extremely unfortunate that they are the go- to site for people outside the community!
Thank you for your comment, I never even realised how bad they were.. I just assumed they were Applied Behaviour Analysis types!

  12. In NC the schools will press assault charges against 7yo’s for pulling hair. The case that I have personally been involved in was handled much better. The parent is called to a meeting with a officer who handles juvenile cases and it will go from there. They do take into account if you have services for your child, your child’s specific diagnoses, your reaction to the incident, and your plan for dealing with these issues in the future. But then again we had a mental health “team” already involved. Oh and we were also at an alternative school that is supposed to work with children with behavioral issues. There are just so many reasons to stay away from Florida.

    1. It’s part of one of the events they’re running to get money out of BIG banks. You can tell someone to remove their cash from Bank of America all you like, but most don’t know there’s other options, so they won’t. Gotta offer options for them to consider the money move.
