Ana & John. United Airlines drags man off flight. 20th Century Fox investigating sexual Bill O’Reilly. Fox and Friends sexist segment. British Columbia amends dress code law. FL officer mimics ISIS. 400+ architects submit plans for Trump’s wall.
regarding the united airlines story: this was NOT about overbooking. overbooking sucks but this is WORSE. last minute, they decided to bump 4 passengers so some employees could have their seats.
I live in Canada and my wife and I are avid travellers. We have gone (and would go again) to America ourselves, or to visit my sister who lives there.
We have literally discussed and decided that there is no way that we will be travelling to America in the near future. We are not the only people we know who have made this conscious decision.
Hate to say it, because I actually love travelling around America, but there is no way that we would take the chance of travelling there at this point.
I love these summaries, just in case I don’t get a chance to see the segment, I know what it’s about. I also find them useful if I’m writing a letter to the editor of my local paper, it gives me some of the facts without having to listen to the whole piece again.
I don’t think its fair to criticize the person for initially laughing. Shock can induce a wide range of emotions, if those individuals agreed with the cops use of force then that is wrong
The border wall needs to have American Ninja Warrior gauntlets spaced throughout it. If they win and get passed it, they deserve to be called American. Also we could film it and have it on 24 hour tv because we are Americans and as this election showed us, most of the country (Not population) is evil sadistic little trolls that would love to watch people trying and failing to get into America. Maybe then they would stay home during the next election because they might miss a crossing.
Seems like since the common cause feud started there have been a lot of these kind of posts on here trying to discredit TYT. Coincidence or just a Baby Boomer posting?
I am not a baby boomer and I don’t know what you are referring to with the “common cause feud”.
But can you explain to me how one news network talking about cleaning is not newsworthy but a different news network talking about the first news network talking about cleaning is somehow newsworthy?
Besides, how come no one brought up the point that Fox is a private organization and can do what it wants, just like TYT. If you look at TYT a couple of years ago, they had a recurring segment in which Cenk would guess celebrity cameltoes. If you are looking for a more recent example of a non newsworthy story that TYT covered, I would refer you to the segment about how Mama June lost weight but is still terrible.
I’m an retired Air Traffic Controller…….I stopped flying on United 25 years ago because they are such a shitty carrier……..I would suggest everyone do likewise…….
The absurd thing is the one of the spare flight crew could have been dispatched to the jump seat in the cockpit, or filled up spare crew seat(s) in the galley….problem solved.

MRAs will say that companies require men to wear ties, and that they are uncomfortable. Of course that’s nothing compared to heals, but it’s something.
Yeah, but it’s been proven that high-heels can cause joint degeneration. There is some evidence that neckties can increase glaucoma risk, but it isn’t nearly as strong as the case against high-heels. Still, I’d be willing to support men not being required to wear ties so long as they support not requiring women to wear heels.
I’m a Canadian who lives in bc and has spoken about this issue with many people recently and all our assumptions was that this issue is mainly for waitresses. Many if not most waitresses in bc were forced to wear heels until now.
I may be alone at this but i prefer the short descriptions better. This one is not only long-ass and kind of boring to read all of it (no offense) but it takes the tease out of the stories cuz it details too much. Naturally it is a very small issue but anyway… just my opinion.
I agree. Needs to be a short summary like the previous person used to do. it is annoying to read. I no longer read it. agree with johnsjunk11 a summary tells what was covered — not how it was covered.

Canada is planning legislation that will stop airlines from bumping passengers from flights. http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/united-airline-bumping-canada-garneau-1.4065228

I’m pretty sure they cut out a segment about the United airlines passenger. What’s up with that?
I heard that United had a passenger they had to physically remove. Immediately thought, oh nooooo….CENK! Glad I was wrong.
haha! Yeah I was hoping Cenk was going to be hosting to go off on airlines.

How is Ana complaining about Fox News covering something non newsworthy? Look in the mirror TYT. Talk about throwing stones in a Glasshouse ….. jeeeez
Poor conservative was triggered. Do you need a safe place from dissenting opinions?
Poor regressive snowflake. Seems like you are the one who can’t handle a different opinion in your safe space.

great show thx team
And now the dealers know the height of those undercover agents. Duh.
Right! Seems like telling them they’ve already been visited by undercover agents and then telling them to RUN is counter-productive.
I think they played skyrim music on that heroin video.

Agreed.
It’s probably done as a documentation / record keeping thing.
And is likely the reason shows are often posted so late.

I agree. I just don’t read them now. I don’t understand people who do more than necessary. But if it makes him happy…
Is John ever going to get over the sniffles?

Kind of defeats the purpose of a summary, which I look at to see what was covered, not how it was covered.

I totally agree. Also love your avatar <3 Hawke :)
I agree will all above. Short. Brief. Tease.
Well written though. But I will obviously glance at most, then go to the show.
