1. Cenk talks about “destroying gay rights” by Trump, but so far I have not heard of such plans. This stupid fearmongering is one of the reasons why Trump has won. Focus on Trump’s real actions and declared intentions, do not invest bogus reasons to fearmonger about him.
2. Unlike that Cenk says, neither gays (nor Jews) kept any high positions within Nazi government to the time of gas chambers or anyting remotely like it. Some gays (and Jews) did play a role in helping Nazis to raise to power, but not after that.
3. neocon Republicans and neolib Democrats are crying very hard that the USA might (theoretically, not guaranteed at all) take a pause in focusing on its oppressive imperialist neocolonial policies of regime change coups and proxy wars that they call “global leadership role of the USA”, a phrase that Orwell would be proud of.
4. “#Resistance” movement is establishment tool used by some bad people and all kinds of partisan hacks, not just gullible good people. TYT should not touch this.
5. The black Democratic lady cites only Citizens United decision as an issue, but it manipulative since it just repealing that would not make any difference. It is a fake Democratic talking point.
6. The claim that Obama was about small donors (he has set absolute record in Wallstreet donations) is yet another fake Democratic talking point.
7. “Freedom of the press” is fake concept since all major media are totally inline with establishment and lie about both domestic and international issues, be is Bernard Sanders, NoDAPL protests, wars and coups that the CIA/StateDep carry out (Hunduras, Libya, Ukraine, Syria).
8. Citing artists whose works are being blocked by Republicans is also hypocritical since Democratic Mayors have crushed many anti-establishment artists (even Banksy).
9. Shaun talks about decency and honesty of Obama, but this talks is absurd considering the fact that he is a war criminal and murderer.
10. Shaun claims he is not a conspiracy theorist, but he, sadly, is. He rans through his Twitter account Alex Jones-level of insanity stuff: not only that the Russian government is behind the hacks of the DNC and Clinton campaign, to which zero evidence was presented, what what was presented contradicts to the narrative, not supports it, but also pushes the idea Trump is Putin’s agent.
11. Shaun says that Trump is vindictive as if it is his main quality, but in reality some his cabinet picks have badmouthed Trump and he does not care at all. This means that while Trump might be vindictive in some cases, in general he is pragmatists that really does not care much.
12. Clinton/DNC has retained a team provocateurs against Trump, so only talking about pro-Trump provocateurs is not a fair and objective coverage that Cenk has promised.
13. anarchist always were violent, and they hate Trump, they do not want to help him at all, they hate capitalism.
14. “DisruptJ20” movement that ran those violent protests is an organized group, but certainly not one that “wants real change in America”. And they are not anarchists, they are partisan establishment tool that USES both anarchists and whoever was fearmongered to a point of hysteria.
15. Curling paper also serves the purpose of hiding what is written there; why would Trump want people to know the content of his speech beforehand? (It does not mean that Trump was actually writing something for this photo operation, it just means that there is reasonable explanation why he has paper curled in case if he was actually writing something there.)
I really appreciate Michael Shure. He is quite knowledgable and though I may not agree with him in lock step politically , TYT is a better news source with him. I think he is my second favorite host, behind Ben.
