  1. Finally sat down and saw this. POWERFUL, guys. Richard NAILED it about fake news. So good to see Alonzo again, the dude is deep. Jimmy! The guy’s an oracle. Cenk! We’re on the warpath against liars and the unjust with you, Brother.

  2. the song does not say Hackensack , Its Baltimore. “Got a wife and kids in Baltimore, Jake. I went out for a ride and I never came back” I am a super fan of THE BOSS

  3. Loving this..two hrs in 1.5 stories mentioned! Proud to support TYT, even on my limited budget. All of this content to help pass the time at work!

  4. FWIW a transom is also one of those ventilation/lighting windows above an office or classroom door (they would open by tilting) in older architecture. A story or manuscript that came in “over the transom” was one that arrived without solicitation or representation (such as an editor or agent). In the modern age, the equivalent is stories/ideas that are emailed in by listeners, or what’s known in publishing as the “slag pile.”

Fun fact: one of the very few “over the transom” success stories was _A Confederacy of Dunces_ by John Kennedy Toole which was published without having been repped by an agent (and was rejected by hundreds of publishers). It ended up winning the 1980 (or 81) Pulitzer prize for fiction. Sadly the author had committed suicide in 1969 and never lived to see the success of his work. Regardless of the publication history or the author’s bio, the book is definitely worth reading.
