  1. Cenk, WHAT IS YOUR POINT? What else would you like her to do? You’re yelling without actually saying anything. And enough of hocking that stupid shirt.

  2. White non-college educated voters are not a large enough group to sway the elections even with a 60 point lead because their weight will be counterbalanced by the fact that Clinton is doing what no democratic nominee has done in 24 years, win the white women vote which is larger than the white men vote. That groups is important only in 3 swing states, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio and Ohio is all but lost and virtually everyone admits it.

Last night will help Clinton and the recent polls are actually showing her moving up in Florida (leading in the RCP average after a 2 week losing streak) and holding herself in Pennsylvania and if she flips Florida permanently she would win the elections regardless of what happens in Colorado, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Starting from next week a flood of state polls will be available (especially between the last two debates) and it will give a much clearer picture on the way the election is heading. Regardless this will be a fun election to watch and highly competitive one.

  3. Reporting on Trump’s lies and his fearmongering without mentioning Clinton’s lies and fearmongering is not a “truth-telling” or “fair” or “principled”.

Cenk discusses how Trump presents himself as the only saviour of people from the Muslim terrorism threat, but never mentions the fact that Clinton and her camp does the same — as she is the only saviour as Trump, Stein, Greenwald, Assange and even Larry King are all Russian spies. Even though Russia is not a real threat to the USA, unlike terrorism. The reason for that is that Cenk (as well as John, Benjamin) himself is half-engaged in the same neo-MacCarthyism as he is a child of Cold War, and can not think rationally on that whatsoever, so his critical thinking is never turned on when he repeats StateDep mantra about “evil Russia” to the great benefit of all neocon/neolib maniacs and the military industrial complex: https://twitter.com/theintercept/status/766729076417634304: “U.S. Defense Contractors Tell Investors Russian Threat Is Great For Business”, “When the Cold War ended, “all defense budgets went south,” says one contractor hoping to turn that around”, “The Pentagon already has more than enough money to address any actual threat to the United States.”

    1. If the military-industrial-security complex says that Russia is a real threat, then that alone would be reason enough to be sceptical about the statement because those guys are never not lying their asses off (and it’s not the only reason for being sceptical obviously, but it would be a good one even if there were no other demonstrable reasons).

          1. Lighten up, back off. You cannot be an avid TYT watcher and not see how he is making a very valid point. If you do not see that, then I congratulate you at having come out of the coma you must have been in since 2002. There is so much you need to catch up on about WMD in Iraq, and how Saddam was able to bomb New York with nukes, and deploy chemical WMDs in only 45 minutes, and so on.

WMDs in Iraq, Saddam nukes NY, crack is whack, man

        1. “Stein, Greenwald, Assange and even Larry King are all Russian spies” you didn’t learn this on TYT, must have pulled it from your ass.

        1. “WMD in Iraq, and how Saddam was able to bomb New York with nukes, and deploy chemical WMDs in only 45 minutes, and so on.” – you didn’t hear that on TYT

You may watch, you don’t listen, member #1004, even got a tweet on the Current Show (which basically sucked)

    2. “— as she is the only saviour as Trump, Stein, Greenwald, Assange and even Larry King are all Russian spies. Even though Russia is not a real threat to the USA, unlike terrorism.”

Except at no point did Hillary or any of her immediate surrogates (I understand there are many) intimate that any of the named, sans Trump, was associated, as either agent or spy of the Russian government. Think you might be referring to this pro-Hillary blog (if you’re referring to anything at all) of Stein’s visit to Moscow:

      http://americablog.com/2016/08/jill-stein-moscow-criticized-us-human-rights-said-nothing-russian-human-rights.html

At no point did even this Hillary sycophant call her a spy. But im sure you will follow with a reputable source proving such…. surely.

True, they tried to distract and blame the leaked emails on Russian hackers:
      https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jul/24/clinton-campaign-blames-russia-wikileaks-sanders-dnc-emails

And on several occasions suggested Trump was amenable or too friendly to Putin — but it is not so much that this is yet another case of guilt-by-association-Red-baiting as you posit, as much as it is the fact that Trump proudly praises Putin, an authoritarian strong-man who brutally suppresses dissent.

Or the mere act of foreign government actors hacking into the Sectary of States email is an act of cyber warfare for the purpose of influencing its domestic politics. Or Trump even going so far as to encourage them to do so.

      1. Except for Hillary herself can not stop mentioning Russia with this notion as well as speculated Trump’s associations with Russian business as a tool of fearmongering, let alone her surrogates who do it much more openly, indicating that anyone who is not for the new Cold War is basically a Russian spy. They even pushed NBC to come up with a video “report” for their “news” about the the fact that Trump once wanted to meet with Putin with subtext meaning that Trump is a Russian spy (even though dozens of USA’s other businessmen, unlike Trump, have actually met with Putin, have business in Russia).

This tactics is not different from 2008 when Hillary formally denied Obama is a Muslim as a conspiracy all while winkingly saying that she takes Obama’s word that he is Christian, which was a code language to right-wingers who believe in this. And her aides such Sidney Blumenthal have pushed the birther movement as well as the pictures of Obama in a Kenyan attire.

Even James Clapper admitted that there is no evidence of any particular party being responsible for the DNC hacks, let alone specifically Russians, let alone, even more specifically, Russian government. Yet the MSM and Clinton herself use it as a fact as a neo-MacCarthyist tool.

And, by the way, Trump did not encourage any party to commit an act of cyber warfare. Clinton’s server is long inactive, there is nothing to hack; Trump was talking about different thing: if any party, be it Russians or not, has the electronic mails (that Clinton has deleted), they should provide them to the FBI so she could be brought to justice.

  4. Thanks very much! I appreciate your help.

I’ve enjoyed the show for quite a long time. Just became a member, but I think they need to do some work on the site.

  5. Wow. Trying to access your election coverage. Maybe I am new, but I find this website * extremely * difficult to navigate. Numerous errors accessing pages. Other than the live show, no post-debate coverage posted so far. No menu item labeled “election coverage”. Only the old news show from earlier this evening. The You Tube channel is far easier to navigate. Website is so problematic, even having trouble posting. Keep getting a message I am creating a “duplicate” post – when my first post has not succeeded in uploading.
