  1. Thank you, Francis, for being the only logical opinion on the Nelly tax debt story. Sorry, but I’m not screwing up my Spotify preference algorithm because an extremely famous, extremely wealthy person managed to get himself into insane tax debt.

  2. I am sorry Ana, I love your 2nd hours but this is the best panel. Brett is just theee funniest! Kim is theee smartest! and Francis is just the best!

  3. Just to clarify on the cigarette tax it’s $40 Australian not $40 US. It doesn’t change the story that much however since that still a lot of money for cigarettes.

  4. Brent is totally right about incest – legally aged people, who want to fuck each other, should be able to do so legally, no questions asked. Fuck on out of peoples lives.

  5. Aaaaah Australian here, we don’t just tackle shit, we still don’t have a medical cannabis industry and yet one of the highest rate of use in the world, they just elected a government whose entire concept was trickeldown economics and changed laws so heroin dealers and cannabis growers get the same jail sentences. While the private prison industry pushed on us, we are America in the early 90s shits about to ge a lot worse

  6. PSA

The whole “feeling full for longer” thing is actually part of the Satiety Index. The concept is that the longer you can go without feeling the need to stuff your face, the better. The ultimate goal is to have foods with a high Satiety Index value, so you feel the urge to eat less, and a low Glycemic Index value, which means it wont slam your bloodstream with sugar.

And highly processed carbs, like those crappy oatmeals, have low satiety and high glycemic values =p

  7. Gotta side with Bret on the incest legality, just because society thinks something is gross doesn’t mean it should be illegal if there are consenting adults involved. I think Kim’s knee-jerk reaction to the homosexual comparison is because right-wingers make that comparison all the time, but she should examine the argument without that baggage. The government should have no say in what two consenting adults do with each other sexually.

    1. I mostly agree, but incest opens a can of worms about power imbalances and dependency. They recently covered a story about how the times are so bad that trading sex for food is on the rise. Sugar baby/daddy/momma relationships are on the rise also. Those people willingly sign up for that, but that might not be the case for someone whos unable to move out of their parents house.

The government definitely needs to get the fuck out of people’s bedrooms, but there is something to be said for protecting people who are in the situation of “I want to say no, but I cant.”

That being said, I have cant think of a solution to solving both those problems at once.

  8. Finally a story on Australia
Mayoral election in biggest city in Aus – Sydney and all businesses got two votes rather than the sweet fuck all they deserve
