Cenk and Ana talk about Ana’s bachelorette party in Vegas. She shares how she had rules for when to leave for the trip, and for driving back. She breaks down why she overplanned these aspects. While partying, she realized that none of the guys have anything on her fiance, even though she wanted to be hit on. Discussion about how beating on a penis pinata by a bunch of women could be seen as anti-men. Cenk noticed that Ana’s style of dress attracted the older men to her.

  1. Ana is so lenient with her guy.. I wouldn sleep around at my bachelorette party, and if I found out my fiancee did at his I’d call off the wedding. I think this tradition is super fun, strippers are fine, flirting is fine, but I feel like sex should be off limits. You’re with your so for a reason, and if cheating at any other point in the relationship was off limits, then cheating before the wedding is ESPECIALLY off limits. I think it’s more about keeping the intimacy between the two of us only…

Again, for me personally. Obviously I’m not gonna judge other ppl.

  2. Finally someone said it to a woman who thinks like that. Jay-ar Jackson for the win The Jacksons show should be one of shows on the tyt Network Network

  3. Too bad I wasn’t in Vegas last week-end….

    But more important:

PLEASE FIX YOUR IT PROBLEMS ASAP!

    Do you need help?

  4. The member perks are nice (especially when they work :o) but that is not why I subscribe.

Independent media is disappearing fast. Most “media” is giant corporate-owned and operated for the benefit of the oligarchy.

TYT, Democracy Now! and comedians like Jon Stewart and John Oliver (among others) are the only reliable news sources these days.

That’s why I subscribe. To keep TYT going and growing.

  5. Experienced software developer here. The problems that TYT is experiencing where occasionally something doesn’t work properly are indicative of a human-centered process which will guarantee that sometimes, there will be mistakes. To ensure stuff like this doesn’t happen, you need an automated system that properly names files, uploads them to the proper servers, then generates the web pages, then checks to make sure the files on the other end actually exist.

Automation folks! This process must be automated.

I’ve even offered my assistance to them, free of charge, but no response yet.

    1. As someone who is also an experience UX Engineer and works with developers on a constant, I agree with Slackitude 100%

  6. Where’s the PG video? This is what displays:

  7. Completely agree — when it comes to the post-game, I can take it or leave it, but this regularly happens for the first two hours as well. Little goofs like the SD version uploaded as the 720p version, random delays between the broadcast ending and the download being available, etc. make me think this is all still done by someone manually (including stuff like “COPY” when these goofs are discovered, which makes me wonder if it’s really necessary to make another post instead of just fixing the original one).

Seriously, I hear California is crawling with experienced sysadmins just looking for a cool place to work. If I lived in CA I would’ve sent in my resume many times over by now. These issues aren’t major, but they really add up, and any decent sysadmin worth his salt could easily automate the upload process to make it as simple as dropping the raw video into a directory and letting the downsampling/re-encoding, uploading, post generation etc. all be 100% automated. Hell, I could probably do all that in less than a week.

Like I’ve said, none of these things are deal-breakers in and of themselves, but it’s just very inconsistent. Makes it difficult for me to get into a habit, normally I like to come home after work, open up the laptop and download hour 1 while I watch yesterday’s Daily Show on hulu, then watch hour 1, grab hour 2 before I’m done with hour 1, then PG… but since the site upgrade, it seems like at least a couple times a week there are delays, or goofs in the upload process, and it just totally throws off my evening vibe. :)

If y’all really don’t have the full-time staff available to deal with this, seriously, I would be happy to offer my services on the cheap — just shoot me an email and we can talk. I’ve got about 15 years experience as a sysadmin and 5 years as a software developer, and I’ve built out automated video transcoding workflows with ffmpeg and written plenty of scripts to hook into various APIs. I’m a fan of automating my job, so I can be lazy and do stuff like watch TYT.

    1. yeah, me too…i got into habit of listening to the show when I come in to work in the morning and things like that are disappointing.

maybe they try to make us upgrade? Imagine if you upgrade and still get that?

  8. Jesus… I wish you could treat your members to a fully functional on-line experience. Can’t get the Post Game show to load tonight, Aug 22, no matter what I’ve tried. So, remind me… Why am I paying for this lousy site when I can’t access the shows you’ve promised to deliver to me?

    1. TOTALLY agree … it is laughable how we get pushed to “upgrade our membership” when there is no “upgrade” of reliable site access! Also, I won’t recommend membership until problems like this disappear! What I tell college students who know about TYT is “join at your own risk” don’t look at me if you join and can’t get your money’s worth reliably.

      1. hear hear. plus I am not especially cite at the prospect of listening to stories from Ana’s bachelorette party, however, they can at least make sure we get our members perks too, whether we want them or not they should be available.

        :)

    1. thank you, i have only been a member for 4 days and almost nothing is working, but audio is good enough. thanks again buddy

  9. ANNOYED BY A PROBLEM? Contact @2jenih on twitter or email support@tytnetwork.com since they do not check these comments at all, and sometimes they check friday postgame comments and that’s only much later. Only way is to tweet at jeni or email support.

    1. That they don’t check comments section makes sense since I sent TYTsupport numerous emails on when they were going to fix it. Got 2 responses ….
      1) You can discuss topics w/other members thru the tweeter-machine.
      2) Dave Kohler responded w/ we will look into it after we fix important site issues.

Convenient that comment section went down after DNC convention when Cenk proceeded to drown us in Trumpzilla stories almost non-stop for 2 weeks. Now that it looks like a pretty done deal that we have President $hillary … they are finally reporting on other political stories a bit.

  10. The people in charge of uploading and updating the website have no oversight or we wouldn’t have site issues happen every week

    1. Exactly, I know TYT is low on funds but….. this website is would be child’s play for any admin and its not an editing issue since these shows are virtually identical to the live shows.

  11. Attempt to download post game audio gives this again:

  12. Ana, my fam used to rise at 3 am and be on the road by 5 am for trips. nothing was more exciting than getting up in the dark, prepping for the ride, and taking off! my dad was an identical twin, and his bro and HIS fam would often come with … the trips themselves were almost half the fun. 50 yrs later, i’m a total morning person … the earlier, the better. i still get excited, waking up in the dark, before dawn.
