Ana talks about her fandom of SilverSun PickUps and going to a recent show. Cenk and Ana talk about their wedding proposal stories, respectively. Ana reveals a big secret about her wedding.
i’m finally back as a Member … again. thanks to a stop payment on an electric bill, i had some extra $$ in the bank this month. not much, but enough to get my membership back. yay! this is the first place i came; i heard you talking about what an “interesting” Post Game this was going to be. Congratulations, Ana and Christian! and Cenk and Wendy the Implacable! i was going to suggest that you and Christian renew your vows in a few years, so you could have a more intimate ceremony, but you beat me to it by “prenewing” your vows — what a triumph!
You know, I think I remember you referring to Christian as your husband in a past show. Like, maybe a few weeks ago, then you referred to him as your fiance.
Belated congratulations to Cenk and Ana. You’re lovely people.
Been eavesdropping for so many years now to these life stories that I start feeling like some unintentional long-distance stalker. Good chemistry between these two and good calls on the eloping and the flower thing.
Loved that post game – I actually want Jordan Chariton and a cameraman to do a spoof report from the wedding now! Congrats, Ana, that’s so cool to know what you want and go for it. Glad you did you, boo???? Cenk officiating?? He’ll love that. Happy days.
Great post game, guys!
Ana talking about how she desired a small intimate ceremony reminds me of how my maternal grandparents were married. Back in 1951, my grandpa was in the army (he reenlisted after fighting in WWII) and his unit had just gotten orders that they were going to be deployed to West Germany to repair infrastructure that had been destroyed in the war, and so my grandparents wanted to get married right away before he deployed so that my grandmother could join him overseas. They went down to the county courthouse and they were married by a justice of the peace. The only witnesses to the ceremony were a secretary and a janitor.
Congrats! I’m sure your wedding will be a memorable day. The best part of any celebration is the stories that get shared, so I hope they flow like water, or champagne!
Just saw this post game, Ana ur wonderful I love the wedding story good for u and Christian. Thirty one years ago my husband and I eloped to Baltimore went to city hall paid a lady in the hall 5 dollars to be our witness got married by Justice of the Peace cried and never regretted it for one minute. Some things need to be private, so the moment belongs to the two of you only. After the ceremony we went to an old shack for Maryland crabs and beer got drunk and played the juke box and partied with a crazy bunch of total strangers all night. We don’t have even a single picture, but I remember every second it was a blast. Got back to our Holiday Inn room barefoot? and passed out. In the morning my husband went out and got breakfast and coffee and brought me breakfast in bed we never found our shoes but i have a vague memory of a fountain!
Eloping was one of the best decisions that we ever made. We eloped mostly for legal reasons, and kept it secret, but it was an enormous relief to the stress that is “The Perfect Wedding”. The wedding photos from Las Vegas that no one has, make me smile much more than the “official pictures”.
Wrong again Bob. It’s NEVER way to long. Loved this post game. Giving romantic locations in LA.
Hope cenk gives some food recommendation 2.(especially if they are cheap)
Ohhh Ana… what a fabulous secret (that’s no so much a secret anymore) Congratulations girl, I’m glad you got to do exactly what you wanted to do. May this be the start of a life-long love affair <3
I’m fairly confident that Ana said during a show that she was getting married after coming back from NY or something and Cenk talked about your work schedule. (I have no idea what times you guys record this stuff)
Cenk, what is the name of the Arabic songs that you played. Also the sound bites that you play , are these available to us. Ana congrats on your wedding
