The existing Power system is designed to promote, protect, and reward racist millionaires. And people are surprised by it!!!
Nevertheless, there should be a National Apology System where everyone has a choice: Lose the job or try to Redeem yourself. They’d publicly apologize, do some public retribution charity work, and invite others into her home to discuss their lives and thoughts. And it should all be publicly available. Everyone has access to the system and can share/vote their opinion.
And I don’t care about what anyone else is doing in the bathroom. People who do care can just adapt and find another bathroom or get over it. They’re a small minority of people who haven’t gotten over the shame and accepted themselves as normal.

This whole bathroom discussion is completely ludicrous. It’s a complete sham. When I was a freshman in college 30 years ago, I lived in an all-female dorm. The bathroom was in the middle of our hall. You literally had to walk through the bathroom to get from one end of the hallway to the other. The bathroom was completely open to the hall (there were doors on each stall and on each shower) and people (of both genders) walked through it all the time. You’d be sitting in the stall, doing your business, and you would hear a bunch of guys walking through on their way to their friends’ room or the next dorm or whatever. And so what? They couldn’t look at you. You could just hear them walk by. And since our dorm was between two all-male dorms, it was kind of a major highway. Basically to get to the other dorms, you could go down four flights of stairs and up four flights again, or you could cross the dorms on our floor, through the bathroom. No one ever complained. And this was a conservative school with tons of Republican parents. But because we’re talking about trans people, conservatives are going to start caring who’s in the bathroom when we pee? I call bullshit.
I liked hour 2. Hass makes the show even more entertaining to watch.
have to agree with some other commenters here… would normally not say anything except that I also found the 2nd hour to be way below what I would consider to be a TYT standard, even for the second hour. Today, Has just seemed to frame his thoughts in a way that sounded like they were coming from a high school dude, certainly not a skilled news commentary host. For the first time in a long time, my attention just drifted away from the show due to the dynamics.
Gotta call you out on this: Give it a listen solely for the content or try the podcast. These folks are sharing ideas and they’ve still got some evolving to do, as do we. Don’t miss how these people are thinking and becoming better thinkers . They’re thinking out loud.
Very glad to see Grace back! But… Has… Geez. He needs to learn to let women speak. He also rarely has anything too interesting to say, frankly… I always hate seeing him return.
I hear he does amazing things behind the scenes and I’m super happy about that, but he’s easily one of my least favourite commentators. =/

Totally understand peoples criticisms of Has, although I do feel like Cenk was probably somewhat similar to him at his age (based on his own descriptions!) I find something funny about that.
Seriously, Has needs to shut up, listen and let a person finish their sentence without yelling over them all the time. I really dislike it, when he is on the show, because there are constantly people talking over each other and valuing their own opinions higher than those of the co-hosts.
You can bring us more Grace, though, I like how personally she always reflects on the topics. I think it gives an interesting insight.
If it’s gender neutral it should accommodate all genders. Seems kinda obvious.

I care less about my looks as I get closer to 30 cos I went from looking like a super geek to looking like a semi-Johnny Depp look alike lol. I was 18 when I came out and I looked like I was 14 on a good day. Any way I went to the fair with friends. We maybe had some cocktails, maybe. I made a bet with my friends that I could go in the men’s room and fake pee in the urinal and get away with it. It was a busy place but I had made the bet and wanted to win. So I adjusted my fake man parts and went for it. I remember this really big guy looking at me like that little dude has some balls. But it could have been the maybe cocktails.

I know that on youtube, folks become famous and successful because they are beautiful, clever or charismatic. Sometimes they are brilliant and wise. But usually it is more their appeal.
I think it’s awesome to be confident and extroverted, and to create videos to share your opinions, and it’s cool when people follow you and like to watch.
I have to admit I’m not as interested to watch random people sharing their opinions on stories, deciding who’s right and wrong, when they don’t seem to display special understanding or skills or brilliance.
Am I just being unkind, or am I wrong to expect more from 2nd hour? Or could there be a higher level, more intelligence, insight, challenge here?
I totally get that popularity, charisma, looks, style are REALLY important in making success, but it feels like random people sharing their opinions, and I am not sure why these particular people
