    1. oh that’s right , i remember aussies thought tyt ridiculed them for a racist sounding KFC ad or cricket/kfc ad or something, was it from that? if so, i remember aussies getting all defensive about being cast as racists or something… and if that was the case, the irony of the aussie guy calling Cenk a Turkish Barbarian… hilarious, getting offended at being cast as a racist and then going ahead and proving that he is a racist… you can’t make this stuff up.

  18. That is enough for me, I’m only watching the first hour from now on. I don’t wish to be rude but in my view you’d do well to hire people more able to analyse subjects, and with more thoughtful sophisticated opinions. It seems you place youth and beauty above expertise, and over time that has become unbearably frustrating.

      1. I feared I was being an unbearable curmudgeon, I see by your responses perhaps that is not the case, or if it is at least I’m not alone! I suppose it must be accepted the second hour is to draw less interested parties into the fold of politics, and not designed for people looking for something more involved.

          I can only take so much of Ana’s narcissism where, because she’s a narcissist, she can only relate anything that’s happening in the world back to herself, or she has no thoughts on it.

          If it’s not related to the tiny amount she now knows about Cuba because of her fiance, or parking and traffic, or growing up in LA, or the armenian genocide or unfair beauty standards for women, or college debt or wanting to get married and buy a house and not being able to afford it, she’s completely lost. I like her fine, and by not listening to the 2nd hour, when she shows up in the 1st hour or on election coverage, I think it’s great. It’s nice to see her in small doses.

          But then you have bullshit like racist ranting about the Roma people or that she doesn’t want to talk to anyone who does customer service unless their american, and we reach the uncomfortable, ahistorical, privileged little white girl perspectives on the world and it ends up negatively affecting my view of TYT as a whole, which I don’t want to do. I hate when Cenk thinks it’s funny or cute to be a pervy old man lusting after images, or when he reduces everyone down to simplistic gender identities and makes blanket statements about how all men care about is sex. But luckily, he mostly does that bullshit in the 2nd hour.

          Also the 2nd hour is where you most likely to find the talentless know-nothing hacks like Karamo and the entire D-team of pop culture know-nothings from the other shows that show up and contribute nothing but empty nonsense to the conversation. And the 2nd hour is also where you’ll find disgusting bro douchebag Bro-tip, who I despise, and do not ever want to hear from. If I wanted to get the frat-boy, sexist douchebag opinion on anything, I would attend one of those counseling sessions a judge mandates for those who commit sexual assault. And I’d probably see Bro-tip there. fucking douchebag.

          1. Perhaps we do share a curmudgeonly spirit since you’ve summed my feelings up on the matter. I will briefly add I think the vast majority of the TYT on air staff are moral people with the best of intentions, they just don’t offer anything that interests me.

          3. to sum up your thoughts you just don’t like specific people on tyt. The second hour has always been a bunch of side stories. it’s no different than any of the other news channels showing a video of a dancing dog as of we care. The 2nd hour is a mixed bag for me. Some stories are interesting and I can find out more on my own while some don’t interest me at all.

Just in watching the first hour I finally broke down and posted a comment asking about one of the soundboard tracks- yelling guy- and amazingly after all this time wondering, not 2 hours later I get an answer in this post game show. But the amazing thing is, all this is after all 3 segments were posted! All I had to do is wait 2 more segments and I would have known it IS a forign language clip (from Gladiator). Though I am glad that it was not english that I could not understand, I do look pretty stupid for asking a question already answered! Haha Please disregard my prior post.

  26. That GoT scene is a pivotal moment in the book. The only charge that could be proven against her was her adultery against the King (with Lancel) & her walk of shame was the punishment. Imagine if they knew that she had conspired to kill him?
