TYT Hour 2 March 23, 2016

A Christian mother and rapper released a song and video called “Gender Bender.” Video of her lamenting the discussion about allowing transgender people into the bathrooms they choose. A bill in Kansas would allow college groups to exclude potential members that they feel dont have the same belief system the group does. Oklahoma state legislation has passed a law that would allow high schools to implement abstinence only education that would teach life begins at conception. The one problem is that the state doesn’t have the money to pay to implement the curriculum. Alabama police posted a Wanted poster online for a man that had a record, but no violent criminal record. The wanted man responded to the post with outrage, pointing out that he avoided a traffic stop and hasn’t done enough to warrant a wanted poster.

  1. the second hour content is always like this. Also I don’t think Ana making a story personal is a fair criticism. It sounds like more of a personal preference because they all make stories personal to themselves all the time. I will say that the rap video story was clearly put there to make the opposing side look silly while at the same time touch on the LGBT issues. The second playing of the video was too over the top for me.

  2. I don’t understand why anyone thought that using the bad rap video was a good way to talk about LGBTQ issues.

Then Ana makes it worse (hard to believe that’s even possible) by AGAIN making a story personal to her. We’ve moved from the Ana-angst about marriage to Ana-angst about motherhood. Really, if I wanted to hear this stuff, I’d subscribe to Ana’s twitter or facebook or snapchat or whatever.

    1. She spent less than a minute ‘making the story personal to her.’ It’s also the second hour, where they do stories more relevant to pop-culture. I get it if you have a problem with that story, but the attack on Ana is just silly at best. Why subscribe to TYT if you hate how they do things?

      1. because some of us aren’t 9 years old, so we can like something even if we don’t like all of it, and we can have criticisms without throwing a tantrum and saying “Fine, then I’m going home”. Apparently, this relatively basic adult behavior is confusing to some.

  3. WTF you should have given us a warning about how bad the christian rapper was going to be. fuck me,i cannot take it and i’m going to have to stab myself in the ears with a screwdriver now

  4. Congrats~! to all at TYT for the Bernie interview.

Please Tell the world, clearly and often, how we can send this out to everyone. I have at least 20 ppl
in my e-address book who will watch it if I send the link. Some should become members if they
    see it.

Get it out to anyone we know in govt or media~! Let’s go viral w/ this. Before it’s too late, hey.

  5. Cenk says: “Germany took over 1 million refugees, god bless their hearts”

    1. Germany is a StateDep puppet in terms of international policy, totally supported destruction of Libya and Syria as part of “regime change” operations with use of jihadi terrorists as tools. Germany has obligation to people from the Middle East, Germany is culprit to what happened to them.

    2. Syria hosted over 1 million of USA-generated Iraqi refugees that before the jihadi “revolution” of 2011. Syria is many times lesser country than Germany, and unlike how things go with Turkey today, no one paid them billions of Euros to support those refugees. At the same time, Syria has experiences few severe draughts in the raw. Many farmers went bankrupt, and along with economical pressure of huge refugee population many jobless Syrians were radicalised by efforts of USA and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supporting Wahhabi/Salafist terrorist sect to prepare for an uprising as cover up for their proxy war against Syrian secular non-sectarian government.

My point is that Syrian government deserved much bigger “god bless their hearts”, but never got it from Cenk or other media.

    1. you sound a little bitter there dders. it makes my cock hard for you. if you taste my cum. it might counteract that bitter taste in your mouth. tell me what you’re wearing so i can think of you as i wank you dirty, dirty slut. oh i forgot to ask. are you a slutty man or slutty woman. it makes no difference to me. i would just like to know what junk to think off as i beat my meat and call your name xxx

  6. I can hear Dr. Dre in the background saying, “…pretend it’s a Sunday and your cruising down the street in your Six-Fo…”

  7. Jesus Christ! I am impressed! I got a migraine from the conflicting emotions of pure dread and spasms of infinite cringe mixing with the fury of a thousand suns when that transphobic asshole started “””rapping”””

I feel ditry now. I’m gonna go take a shower. In the correct bathroom for someone who identifies with my gender.

  8. Sorry from Canada. She does not represent the views of Canadians. Canada has about %35 who are Right wing and rest are Left wing. We have 4 liberal parties and only 1 conservative party. Plus the majority of our conservatives are only a tad right of Hillary and are great people, but there are some really conservative people in Canada and the majority of them live in the Bible Belt of Alberta. The two major cities in Alberta, Calgary and Edmonton, are turning liberal over time but the rest is a bit slower. I am not just guessing this because I have lived all over Canada and I have been to every coast of Canada. I have also lived in 3 different citys in Alberta and I really like Alberta and the people of Alberta. My home now is Yellowknife, NWT in the north and this town is so open and we have so many people from all cultures and it is great. For only a city of 20000 people we have a open and nice sized LGBT community and for me has a straight male, I really respect how fast Canada has embraced the very kind and loving community of the LGBT. We have failed the Aboriginal people of Canada though and to me is a the greatest embarrassment of Canada, but I have high hopes the our great newly elected majority leader Trudeau will make great strides to fix this.
