As a citizen of the USA born in 1960 I was raised to be proud of our country because when confronted with evil and wrong we as a country almost always did the right thing. Ultimately.
We find our way as a people searching for solutions that make sense. We were and are a family that disagrees but comes together. We do not always believe that to be true because we forget who owns this government.
Time seems to bring us together and make us all proud to be Americans. It is going to happen again. It is happening now. Before your very eyes with Bernie Sanders. A man who has preached this message all of his life.
We as good people and good Americans see ultimately the same way on what is right and what is wrong. Throw out one sided one issue folks. Pro this and Anti that. But when it comes down to who is getting the shaft…. do you care about the kids that your children play with…. are we as a country stronger or weaker the way politics is being played today….like a winner takes all game….are any of us happy about the fact that people play with our lives and they are not held accountable for the consequences?
