Ana joins Cenk for SCS. The SoCal Gas company is being punished for the Porter Ranch leak with a monetary slap on the wrist. In addition, the company is still billing the customers affected, and the prices have even gone up. A vast majority of teenagers that take out loans for college don’t know the details behind the loans they apply for. Researchers looked into the health impacts of smoking weed everyday for 5 years, and it showed a very slight loss in short term memory.
Elon Musk took away a pre ordered Tesla after a blogger criticized test driving the car. Single women in social media are responding to the “motherhood challenge” from mom’s posting pictures of their kids. The Army and the Marine corps are pursuing qualified women to register for the draft.

Cenk, Methane consists of Carbon. Methane is a worse greenhousegas than Carbondioxid.
There is no real feedback mechanism in TYT, it only depends on whether Cenk personally and by accident seen people correcting him on Twitter, or not.
For example, it was said many times by myself and others that Elon Musk is not the first to simultaneously run two multi-billion worth companies. Steven Jobs (producer of Toy Story) ran both Apple and Pixar for many years simultaneously.
This is minor point, but it is good example how TYT’s feedback/accuracy/fact-checking system fails.
I don’t think its run both companies i think its started. I dont know if steve jobs started pixar.
He did; Pixar (even the name itself), did not exist before Jobs. He was founding chairman and majority investor.
If you join as a member at the “Chairman” level ($1,000 per month) you get a 1 on 1 phone call every month with Cenk himself.
I take your point but your example is wrong. Steve Jobs didn’t found Pixar; he just became majority shareholder after in spun-off Lucas Arts. Musk found both companies hence his title as founder of 2 billion-dollar-companies.
Steven Jobs was founding chairman of Pixar, it never existed before jobs, not even the name, it was created upon his personal wish and money. Lucas wanted to either fire all people in one of his departments, or having outside investor to take them in. It lasted for some time and Jobs barely managed to enter before people were fired as no investors (including Lucas himself, this is why he wanted to get rid of the department in the first place). So yes, Jobs was the first person to found and run multi-billion USDs worth companies.
Cenk and Ana have a soft spot for Musk, they like to imagine they’re news reporters from the movie IronMan when covering anything related to him. Not trying to take anything away from Elon (couldn’t even if I devoted my entire life to it) it’s just annoying when people who announce their atheism on a weekly basis deify someone.
+That whole Joe Rogan thing is annoying as well. Rogan, Harris, Maher all of these clowns are basically servants of the neo-liberal agenda. They are all one and the same. Just like Dave Rubin who figured he could make more money joining that club.
I want to 2nd the problem with the lack of buttons that let you go to between hours 1&2.
Also about the Facebook thing… 1st if ur depressed Facebook is the last place you should be. 2nd it’s been my experience that the people who feel the need to constantly post pictures on how amazing their children/spouses are and how they have these perfect lives do not actually have any of those things.
As a person who’s been single w/o kids for most of my adult life, I can see both sides of the Motherhood Challenge. I looooved my single life but I’m about to have a child somewhat late in life. Because this is something completely foreign for me, I’m a little worried that I won’t be very good at it and I doubt I’m alone in feeling this way. Something like the Motherhood Challenge helps boost confidence in moms who are probably a little unsure of themselves or their ability to parent. If I wasn’t about to have a child myself, I probably would’ve rolled my eyes a little at the challenge thinking all of these women are showing off, when that may not be the case most times.
It’s a cheesy challenge and one I’d (hopefully) never do myself and find that sharing pictures personally with friends and family is a better confidence booster than doing it on social media. If you don’t have friends or family to share with, find groups offline for mothers to support each other.
Elon Musk is a very successful and probably smart person. However, he is not a role model by any means when it comes to anything related to human behaviour.
He is a huge fan of Sam Harris. Anyone who appreciates Sam Harris’ work, must have, as a mater of fact, a few loose screws. Especially if the person in question is not a total idiot.
I love the new look, but… I’m not seeing the buttons from underneath the videos that allowed me to go from hour 1, to hour 2, to the post game for a given date as opposed to going back to the calendar via the annual archive menu. I tried clicking on the new arrows at the top (above the video) but on the hour 1 video it took me to the same page; I clicked it again and it took me to a completely different story, date, etc (not what I expected..) Tried the same on the hour 2 page and the left () arrow took me back to this same page…
There are left and right arrows next to the title at the top of the page, although they don’t look like they’re pointing to the correct links right now.
