It’s NO WONDER people want to DIE these days!! I have battled SEVERE anxiety and depression since early childhood, so I can relate! I have actually been EXTREMELY stressed and considered suicide MANY TIMES during this Holidays, and if a fucking PIG came in and attacked me, that would basically ensure my death, because I don’t want to exist on a planet where this shit is condoned and PAID FOR!!
ATTENTION DERANGED SERIAL KILLING FUCKS: Go apply for a POLICE JOB! So the justice system makes NO promises, paying off a victim because they WANT MONEY and WANT to be paid off so they do not go to court, can be completely reversed or ignored at a later date. Also not having adequate proof of any of the 50+ ‘rape cases’ is just going to give all money-hungry attention-seekers the fuel they need to jump up and yell “Me too!” on ANY mass attack on a celebrity for sexual assault! Before you blow up at ME, explain to me this: WHY is it you all believe that everyone LIES, but there’s NO WAY that ANY woman would LIE about THAT, I mean come ON. It’s MONEY. It’s been PROVEN that people will KILL for small amounts of money, but yeah, nobody would LIE…
And since when is getting DRUNK, which the woman did HERSELF, as I never heard he force-fed her ANYTHING, considered to be non-consensual ‘drugging’?? I am curious why offering someone pills to relax (no matter what those pills were) if it is their choice. And I love that they FINALLY said it right: Cosby DID say “I offered the girl quaaludes which they took, because they wanted to have a good time and I wanted to get lucky.” This happens at EVERY COLLEGE CAMPUS EVERY WEEKEND!! He did NOT say he was intending to RAPE anyone, he did NOT say he force-fed anyone drugs.
If he did this to anyone under 18, then great, arrest him and charge him with statutory RAPE, not with just having sex with women who then regretted it or decided to jump on the payout bandwagon!
If you’re incapacitated (unconscious) – no matter why, no matter how consensual the actions were that resulted in said state – it’s rape, period. I find that very easy to understand – you can’t have sex with a bag of human flesh… I don’t think, and Cenk more or less said the same, the consent for taking any kind of pills and/or drinks includes the consent for (any kind of [incapacitated remember?]) sexual activity…
I never heard them say “none of the women lies” – it’s more the other way around: ALL 50 women are lying – really? – all of them? My own aunts and a cousin once told me that they all have friends who would forge a rape to get revenge (that was the discussion at the time, but maybe for money too). That changed my opinion slightly at the time – and I won’t forget that, but it’s one thing to talk about it, another thing to pull it off – all 50? Did the women talking about it (fantasy?) think about all the consequences doing that in a high profile case? Do people usually get cold feet before an action like that and think about those things? You can be sure of that – one of the reasons why far less people pull of crimes than fantasizing about it. They are completely powerless – Cosby on the other hand has and esp had a hell lot of influence and connection. I fear Cosby is by far not the only one who did this at a time, where there was no focus on it.
Overall, the women and their stories sound a lot more believable to me than Cosby’s. I do believe that a lot of women went to his room voluntary, some of them (maybe even more than expected) took the pills for what they were, openly, consensual (people took Quaaludes as party drugs etc), hey some of them might even have come with the intent to have sex with him later. But they had never the chance to consent, because they collapsed/passed-out and when they woke up were naked and covered in his semen – if you can’t see that that’s rape and why I don’t know what to add…
Fuck these prosecutors, they can make a case for a black raper but not white murderers. Fuck this system and the forefathers who made it!
