  1. CENK, I am sorry I didn’t get to join Wolf-Pac, but I DID just become a TYT Member!! Can’t wait to be able to watch all LIVE shows and PGs!! LOVE YOU GUYS, wish I could do more! <3

  2. Does anyone else dislike the stat that cenk points out that young black males are 22 time more likely to be killed by cops then young white males. I know that that stat is probably legit. But to me its means nothing because it does not give me a sense of actual numbers that i can compare with the population of black males in the united states. I would prefer something like this (these are not actual numbers i am too lazy to look them up right now) 55% of all people killed by police are black. and we know that blacks only make up x% of this country. Its a weird criticisms but i just don’t like it for some reason.

  3. Had to skip the father when he got emotional, I can’t take it. I can barely take watching the shootings or their victims anymore. It makes me angrier and more emotional every time I see this happen, and I feel so utterly helpless which makes it worse.

What will put an end to these tragedies? I can’t believe our society is so complacent.

  4. After watching all these videos of shootings shown on TYT over the last year or so, I really didn’t think there was much that could affect me emotionally anymore. No joke or exaggeration here – I have never seen something more devastating than Quintonio’s father breaking down on air.. & I couldn’t stop myself from crying for much longer than I’d like to admit. EVERYONE NEEEEEDS to see that video and understand what cops are doing & getting away with. Especially considering the fact that every article I’ve read wrongfully smears Quintonio’s name. Above the fact that Quintonio should be alive today or that justice will most likely not be served (you can’t release his name????), to put his father through any of this after the injust loss he just experienced is the most grotesque thing I’ve ever seen.

I wish there was something I could do to help his father. I can’t stop thinking about him.

Lastly, I don’t believe in suing in 98% of situations unless you need medical expenses covered & it’s def that persons fault or something to that effect. My family calls that other 98% “sue happy” & “the newAmerican dream”. But Quintonios father (& Bettys children) deserves to sue the cops for shooting him, the ambulance for dragging him out without an attempt to save him & everyone else involved in addition to all the media outlets committing libel against his precious son. Money may not make it better but it will hurt them & maybe he can use it to start something positive to help other children in Chicago who desperately need help.

P.S. Cenk & Ana & everyone else involved in TYT: THANK YOU. Thank you for speaking the truth & bringing us honesty on a daily basis. I have gotten many people to give up on mainstream media to watch you guys daily & I am do grateful you guys are there & willing to do it. You may not know it, but this world is better because of you & I believe eventually, you will all be rewarded when the whole world realizes who you are & what you do.

    1. Well said. Some of these stories can get tiring, like Cenk said, but they’re important and I’m glad TYT covers them with sensitivity towards the families and communities that have to deal with the tragedy of losing a loved one. Seeing the pain of Quintonio’s father was unbearable but it does shed a light on the suffering of ordinary Americans at the hands of the police.
