Ana got engaged over the weekend. Anytime she goes to Miami with Christian, he always wants to spend time with his family. When she went on this trip, she was expecting Christian to pop the question because Christian kept hinting at it. His sister planned a pumpkin carving contest, so they went to a party. Ana got into the contest. The sister’s placed the backside and the last pumpkin said will you marry me.

  3. Ana you remind me of my sister so much, this was just a beautiful thing to watch. I hope she is smiling like you are one day :) (She’s younger than you be a couple of years so there’s no rush!) I think the most genuine thing I can do for you across the Atlantic here is just enjoy this little balloon of happiness in my chest. Thank you for sharing that with us.

    1. btw, i swear, women always get to determine where the wedding is and it always seems to be close to where the woman’s family is. Imo, split the difference. Make each side suffer equally :P

    2. On Ana’s Instagram, the first picture of Christian was added 51 weeks ago, so I guess they couldn’t have been dating for much longer than that. Maybe a few weeks, tops.

      So, yeah, pretty much exactly a year.

  15. Congrats Ana! Was wondering when he would ask, y’all seem like an awesome fit! Congrats and best wishes on your wedding planning. It’s not as scary as it looks. :)
    My wife and I got hitched up about 7 months after I proposed, we are both artists and leaned on our friends for venue, photography, catering etc…
    It’s much easier to plan if you just take a week off to enjoy the afterglow and think about all the places you’d like to have your special day and then con-fab with wishlists. We went to the Los Angeles Arboretum and they were not only the most accommodating and hooked up with the best food, they also have peacocks walking the grounds and lots of options to party the night away. We did an LA wedding for under 10k and then did another reception in Detroit (where I’m from) for my East Indian family.
    Enough of my yammering on, I been watching TYT for a long time now and Ana and the gang always felt like family in my screen speaking troof. Good luck in everything and have fun young lady!

  17. just buy the diamond and get a person to make a ring and put the diamond on it, ppl will do it for a few hundred bucks for sure. you know why? buying pre-made jewelry is a bad idea, the mark up is 1,000% to 2,000%. so, if you spend 10k on a ring, the diamond will only be worth $500 (crazy huh?)… so buy the diamond of a seller, not jewelry store, say from a wholesaler or someone off ebay… and then get a person to put it together on the sort of ring you want custom made to fit the finger or generic size. so get yourself a $10,000 worth ring for under $1,000 and most the value will be in the materials, which is how you want it. never ever buy jewelry off a jewelry store – ever! I made this mistake as a young rich idiot, then found out the raw materials were worth only $600 when stripped for materials. I paid $10,000 for a necklace & earring set. it was one of a kind tho… but still getting someone to put it together will be one of a kind too, but without a silly brand name attached to it.

    I bought my wife a diamond ring with emeralds, similar to what he gave you. Splash of color. Standard diamond rings are cliche. It’s like how carnations are prettier than roses, but which one is pushed by florists?

    As a straight man, I will now comment on how great those hot dogs sound that Cenk was eating. AMERICA!
