  2. Every evangelical I have ever met, have these crazy stories of what horrible people they were before they foumd christ. They are still horrible people, they have just found an excuse and a direction to point thier evil thoughts and actions. When are people going to stop equating religious beliefs with good. There is nothing good about religion at this point in history. It is a cancer that we have yet to find a cure. This is why we need good education. Information and facts are the only cure.

      This is simply not true…

      You don’t have to believe in religion to be objective about it.

      Denying the facts just makes you as irrational, unreasonable, as fanatical as the religious fanatics.

      You need to practice your critical thinking. Otherwise you’re just like those you condemn.

      Ironically, all I see in your post is yet another religious fanatic speaking.

      1. So ironic that he said facts and education are a cure, when he is making radical (erroneous) statements that are contrary to facts. (To disprove what you said about “nothing good” one would only need to find a single good thing about religion.)

        Avoid extremism: All, None, Never, Always.

        Avoid hate speech. “[blank] is a cancer!” , “We need to cure [these people / their ways] from our society!”

        This type of thinking is not just unintelligent, not just irrational fanaticism, it is dangerous hatred.

      2. You guys are right, I was irritated with the blogger who thinks it is ok to rape your wife. I usually try to be more tame with my words. I know there are good religious people, but from my childhood to now, I can honestly say every person I have met in my life who are extremely religious are the worst people I have ever encountered. My ex came from a family like that, and he would say if I didn’t give him sex every time he asked for it, than he had every right to cheat on me. If I gave in when I didn’t feel like it, he didn’t care if I enjoyed it or not. He was raised to believe woman are beneath men, and that is a dangerous and scary way to raise men to think. His father and step mother constantly would preach to everyone about following god and tell us all we were going to hell for every little thing. I found out later that his father was raping his younger sister when she was 3 and 4 years old. He belongs in prison, not church every Sunday.

  3. People losing their shit over the “WHO” study need to get fucked. They seem to fail to understand how the scientific world works as well as jumping to conclusions that all meat is bad. No, it’s not. It’s still healthiest to include a bit of meat in your diet. Oye.

      Does not state “cut all meat entirely.”

      So please, shut the fuck up any smug Vegan or Vegetarian

      Their study also only showed that processed meats were more the problem. We know processed foods are a problem in general. Corporations don’t care about health, just profits. They will do anything to assure profits even if it’s not healthy for us.

  4. The story on cancer risks from eating process and red meat was not told well.

    Cenks has continues repeating that those risks are not determined to be decisive, and that more research should be done.

    But this is ignorant, since scientists have covered over 800 studies to come to their conclusions. No more studies are necessary (though, of course, they will continue).

    Also, process meat and red meat belong to different classes of hazard in WHO’s scheme. Processed meat such as bacon/sousages/etc does cause cancer, it is undoubtedly established. And red meat has lower hazard class: scientists say it probably causes cancer — versus definitely with processed meat (though it is pretty serious still as tests on animals proved definite cancerogenous effect, and there is cell biology studies on mechanics of this; there is just not enough data on people to make final conclusion).
