Bill Burton served as deputy white house press secretary for the Obama Administration from January 2009 – February 2011. Before that he worked for prominent Democrats including Tom Harkin, Richard Gephardt, John Kerry and Rahm Emanuel. He co-founded the Priorities USA Action super PAC and is now a managing director at SKDK.

In this interview, conducted at the first ever Politicon event in Los Angeles, Burton and The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur discuss whether Barack Obama’s is a right wing president, why a GOP President and Congress may be the only path to campaign finance reform, whether Obama was right to co-opt Republican ideas on healthcare and whether a Hillary Clinton presidency will mean real change coming to Washington.
