Cenk is hosting. There were several funny moments during the debate. Trumps weird facial expressions, Jeb bush standing on his tippy toes, high fives, and awkward handshakes. During the debate, Trump and Fiorina attack each other on bad business they have done in jobs. Fiorina talks about what she had done with companies, however some of the things she did was misleading. Trump was telling the truth about how bad she did with H.P.  Fiorina was fired and she is considered the worst CEO of all time according to NY Times. Cenk points out that the reason Carly Fiorina is running for president is to be the attacker of Hillary Clinton without being seen as the sexist GOP. This was illustrated when one big conservative Super PAC gave $5 million to Cruz’ campaign, it also gave $500K to Carly’s campaign. One of her fundraisers admitted that they told her they want her in the race to attack Hillary.

Talk about how Donald Trump attacked immediately and viciously, targeting Rand Paul when asked about his temperament. Usually, this is a disaster, but it works for GOP debates. Video of Trump’s attack and Paul’s response, calling him sophomoric…leading to Trump calling him ugly. Cenk tackles the litany of false statements made by Republican candidates on the debate stage. He thinks the worst lie of the night was when Carly Fiorina claimed that the PP video depicted a fully formed fetus, alive and kicking, when one official wanted to keep it alive to harvest its brain. The false doctored videos were even exaggerated by Fiorina. Video of Ted Cruz and Bill O’Reilly complaining about his speaking time at the first 2 debates, speculating that the media wants political correctness. Polling after the debate had Carly Fiorina winning, followed by Trump and Ben Carson. Scott Walker came in last place. The biggest winner was CNN, who had record ratings and didn’t offend any of the liars by fact checking them. Scoring on social media was won by Bernie Sanders due to his popular FB posts and Tweets during the debate.

  3. The Republicans Cenk only care about strong leaders.. The Republican voter Cenk respects strength, so the Republican voter Cenk loves Trump.

      1. he’s so amused, it’s like he’s become his campaign manager. It’s not just that he’s in every hour of TYT every day going back to Trump’s announcement. Trump is now a major part of Old School.

        It’s not disgust, or even amusement followed by disgust. It’s admiration. He doesn’t agree with Trump on any issues, of course, and I’m sure he doesn’t want him to be president, but Cenk has the same thing for Trump that he’s always saying the Republicans have. He loves his brashness and his bullying and his “fuck you” attitude and the powerful thing. He isn’t being ironic. He likes Trump. He likes him the same way as dumb Republicans do. he likes him the same way that a baby baboon looks up to an adult male baboon who is gnashing his teeth and displaying his erection.

        1. If your point is that Cenk is over-covering Trump, I agree completely. However, I think you are misinterpreting his reaction to Trump.. Cenk does convey disgust with Trump, but more than that he expresses a bemused disbelief. Cenk also feels vindicated in a way by the reaction that Trump has received. While they don’t agree on issues, Trump’s unapologetic approach is in line with Cenk’s ideas about what works in the “game” of politics. CU has consistently criticized many on the left for being too quick to apologize and for lacking sufficient strength in their convictions. I think this is in part the source of Cenk’s excitement.

  4. If I had to pick a winner of the Debate. it would be Rand Paul. He is the only one who said anything that made sense. Rand Paul makes me bi0polar. I am either saying YEAH, I STAND WITH RAND, or OMG THAT’S THE WORST IDEA EVER

    1. Agreed! Btw we should think about strength again… Paul accuses Trump of childish behavior, calling people names, base judgment on their looks etc – Trumps answer is, I’m paraphrasing, “oh yeah – you’re ugly”. That’s not strong, that’s incredibly weak to make the point of your opponent as an answer to him – would I’ve get credit for it in elementary? probably – in High School? NO WAY! I would’ve been deemed the biggest looser in the room…

  5. GOD DAMNIT TYT. it took me forever to get to this Archive. the add for subscribing to something would not go away. Stop that. We are members we support you, If adds get in our face that are hard to get rid of, I might change my mind on membership being worth it.

  9. the problem with the GOP debate was that there were too many candidates there. it was on too large a scale…. A mass-debate if you like
