Cenk, Ben, John hosting. Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced charges on all 6 officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray. Videos of her findings and charges. Cenk points out that this may be the Civil Rights fight of this generation. Mosby also spoke to the Baltimore youth that are fighting for justice, calling it their moment. Conservative attacks on Marilyn Mosby began immediately, disparaging her motivations and background in relation to this case about cops. Fox News’ Todd Starnes tweeted that Mosby has declared a war on law enforcement, leading the way for other idiotic tweets. Videos of Fox News’ John Scott and Judge Ferrer disputing the validity of Mosby and the charges. The man who taped the arrest of Freddie Gray was later arrested by Baltimore police when they posted pictures of him, claiming he was wanted.

Chris Christie’s aide pleaded guilty to multiple counts of conspiracy associated with the Bridgegate scandal, along with a few other aides. It was based in exacting revenge on a small town’s mayor for not supporting Christie in reelection. The headlines of “Christie Ally” pleading guilty led many people to think Kirstie Alley was involved in some wrongdoing. Chief Justice John Roberts’ statements about judicial elections included language that inadvertently disputed the validity of Citizens United. His point was that if judges are paid with contributions, they may be beholden to donors rather than the law, and that judges can’t be held to the lower standard that elected officials are.
